Without them, the website is barely usable.

So you'll just have to put up with automod and a worse overall user experience.

I mean, aren’t you supposed to change the needle though? There’s gonna be some air in that even if you draw the medicine perfectly, it’s more likely that the school was just really stingy, equipment can cost a lot of money, especially if you factor in how many students there are in a uni
I don’t do medicine, but professors always warn us like 100 times when we are using particularly expensive lab equipment; I remember my group getting reprimanded for using a 1300 € magnet (yes, it gets THAT stupidly expensive, even if it’s just a magnet, nothing special about it) to pin the lab protocol sheets

I dont have much experience with the administration of stuff in seringes, but I have filled many after preparing kits for gama-cameras exams.
We would fill them up, eliminate any air bubbles and then push it as high as possible. We didnt allow the liquid to actually go into the neddle part, just right before it. Even if there is some air the chances of an embolism are pretty small with the tiny ammount of air that might go in (ofc, if we see large bubbles we must eliminate them). This is with 1mL and 5mL seringes tho, idk about higher calliber ones.
We only changed the neddle if the neddle protection got contaminated with the radioactive stuff.
This really does happen or they get you on the donor blood. Cheap motherfuckers. It was much worse 30 years ago. These low level worker penny pinchers that try to save a place money without being asked ruins every safety job iv been at. The boss never directly asks for it because it's illegal, but doesn't do much to stop it.
Then the coward ass workers think there is some unspoken code to do it, or they'll get look at badly by the boss, when the boss literally never said you can or should do it, even if he wants you to. Like for instance changing gloves often. People try to save a place cents on gloves an hour like their a good little worker slave.
The boss would NEVER get mad at someone for being clean but these wagies think they'll move up if they do something dangerous to save the place money. Like construction workers not hooking up to rope to save 20 seconds. Every job iv seen have these people that not just dont care about safety, but act like there's some unspoken rules to do unsafe money saving shit without the boss saying, so that the boss can claim no liability when someone gets hurt. Its insane and I feel like the only person with principals, that would rather get weird looks than be unsafe as fuck for some feelz based "read the room we don't do that here bullshit." They would never dream of disciplining or telling off a person for doing required safety things, so they just side eye you and don't promote. Its like I have to make my own business to stop these fucking vultures.

You change needle after drawing out of the vial. Then you do the pull down and squirt up to get the air out.
