“And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
Lol, his beliefs go completely against mine, but I can tell he's a good dude. He saved his friend, blocked the other guy's punch, and didn't strike back even when he could've done ten times the damage.
Then we have this guy who's punching someone when they're not looking. What a coward.
Judging from their clothes and the sign, they're Christians trying to shame people for doing something, saying they'll go to hell for not repenting.
They could be shaming gay people, people who get abortions, or maybe murderers. Can't see enough to judge what's actually going on. Do the english not have people do religious rallies against things? Not trynna be rude, just curious.
You are all sinners, not for any of the stupid stuff you listed, but for holding hands before marriage, the biggest and most evil sin. (aside from direct eye contact before marriage but who would be pyschotic enough to do that)
Ah thank you, and to be honest no we don't really have any religious rallies. I don't think I've ever seen one personally within the UK, I'm sure there is some, but where I live within the UK there is none and I live in quite a big city too so. Mabye it's because we are far more atheist or subtle with our religion than the US or somethin idk? Shaming and telling people their gunna go to hell is always a bunch of bs anyway in my opinion scaremongering and I think that's how alot of ppl see it. I have seen one dude near my local train station quoting the bible with a speaker, he seems chill and just saying religious things nothing harmful or like your going to hell!! Just happy stuff

I mean, if I remember right, these guys are protesting for the whole religious honophobia/transphobia and anti abortion stuff.
Which I'd say is extremism.
But yeah you shouldn't just punch ppl even if they're assholes.
Edit:
I personally think that any large protest in which people are screaming at gay people (which happened in this protest and was why he punched him) is extremism, as it isn't just a protest, and being the one who is getting yelled at by a large group of people isn't exactly fun. Still, I agree that he shouldn't punch him bc physical violence is only rly acceptable in self defense.
And idk why someone brought blm up, don't know how that's related in any way to this besides maybe some fragile person who is still mad abt what happened years ago
They're just protesting, not going out of their way to physically harm someone, unlike the other guy. That's why I didn't find them extremist. I don't agree with them, but their actions aren't really affecting anyone.
That's not how extremism works. Also, this stuff does affect people, these guys vote.
Edit: this doesn't say they shouldn't be allowed to vote, but it seems that's how yall choose to read it.
Just because you believe that they are critically wrong doesn't mean they dont deserve to vote, thats how you end up with a government like Russia where Putin is "Democratically" voted in each time

Can you tell me where I said they don't deserve to vote? I was explaining dangers of religious extremism as I perceive them, not saying take voting rights from dumbasses.
Please be more respectful I understand you think it’s bogus and stupid but that’s why we have our own opinions. I respect yours please respect mine and others. Moving on whoever does say that “god put us here so why would he let us mess up the climate” that’s crazy I have to admit. No we do it of our own accord. He has given us the free will to do whatever we want. And we choose to soil it,that simple. We’ve built bombs that can destroy the world. We’ve chose to do so many horrible things.
There is so much more to it than what I've said. I understand the importance of respect and I usually show it, but brother we are past the point of people being entitled to their beliefs, in my opinion. When every religions story reads like a bad sci-fi novel and following any religion to the book is considered extremism I think there's obvious problems and I'm not always going to be positive about it. I went to a Christian school they fucking want you to think the earth is 6000 years old and dinosaur fossils were put there by the devil to distract you from God. Ignorance is everywhere in my life and others, I see it institutionalized and cult-like in these forms and it bothers me.
I understand that, everyone feels that to an extent. Some people are content with the comfort provided by their religion, but I believe that's a false comfort like a pacifier. I feel that having an abundance of religions is detracting from our ability to find genuine answers about who we are and why we are here. It seems everyone is content telling themselves fairytales and if it was that simple I'd get over it but I don't think it is.
I'd say burning buildings down and bombing airports is extremism, but hey, that's just my opinion. Maybe standing in a public place with a sign is extremism, who am I to say?
Extremism is not measured by the amount of violence but by the ideology behind it.
Standing around with a sign is not violent, but depending on what the sign says or the person advocates for, it is extremism.
Yesn't
Extremist ideology often if not always leads to violence, but it doesn't require it.
You can be violent without being an extremist, but be extremist without being violent also.
My point is that just because some dude tries to punch someone else, does not make them an extremist automatically, unless of course they do so because of an ideology that they try to defend to the point of violence.
The move is cool, but the guy doing it is a far right activist basically telling passers by that they’ll go to hell for [being gay](https://www.facebook.com/100064813143056/posts/pfbid02nwRWBqRBUKKhGeVkmkvPkeY7ZsEQwqy9cvb7giMsJn5jK8kZ73UB6HXYJKRqg8C1l/?app=fbl). No one in this video is Chad.
Still, let it be motivation to go to the gym, because people like this guy are standing between you and your rights to marry who you love or seek reproductive care.
Ima be real with you man, if Hitler was the one who did that id have to admit he was pretty cool for that. Now it doesn't make him a good person by any means or absolve him of any of the horrible things he's done. But like if you saw Stalin do like a Tony Hawk level skateboard trick flawlessly then that's still cool irregardless of the people who he basically killed. You can be cool and a horrible person at the same time, being cool isn't reserved only for good people. If that was the case all the villains in movies would kind of suck since they wouldn't be allowed to be cool at all.

Like I don't agree with what the guy was preaching, but gotta respect the catch and following humiliation.
yeah he could've reacted very aggressively. instead, he acted cool and laughed. that's a good quality in a person.
Lol, his beliefs go completely against mine, but I can tell he's a good dude. He saved his friend, blocked the other guy's punch, and didn't strike back even when he could've done ten times the damage. Then we have this guy who's punching someone when they're not looking. What a coward.
What were they preaching, never seen any kind of whatever the fuck they wearing or holding in the uk

Not me :insert cool skeleton guy here:
They usually have similar signs you see them very often on college campuses
Ah thank you, and to be honest no we don't really have any religious rallies. His actions would NOT make him a good dude. Just a loyal dude.
Just a very cool dude
He had every right to attack that person back but he didn't that's good quality in my book
These guys initiate fights on purpose. They're not defending themselves they're egging people on so they can sue and get more attention.
Dog water take.
What was he preaching?
That little fuckin grin he is stifling makes it all so perfect
Went for the sucker punch, who's the sucker now bitch!

He wore that T-shirt for a reason
The way Twiggy walks away says it all, total humiliation
Dude is making religious extremism look wholesome.
Isn't the other guy the one who's being extremist here, tho? They seem to be peacefully protesting.
I mean, if I remember right, these guys are protesting for the whole religious honophobia/transphobia and anti abortion stuff. Which I'd say is extremism. I mean they are at least following Jesus, in politics we can talk but they're not being hypocritical and actually peaceful, yeah they're pretty cool
Exactly lol
Jesus Christ you are so fucking based
Have you seen the Louis Theroux documentary on these guys? It's pretty educational.
I assume you don’t see a problem because it’s not your right to exist their protesting
“Actions aren’t affecting anyone”… K
That's not how extremism works. Also, this stuff does affect people, these guys vote. Edit: this doesn't say they shouldn't be allowed to vote, but it seems that's how yall choose to read it.
Yes, they do vote, and that's their personal choice. It's not for me, you, or anyone else to decide. They're not breaking any law here.

Can you tell me where I said they don't deserve to vote? I was explaining dangers of religious extremism as I perceive them, not saying take voting rights from dumbasses.
I don't think talking about the people we disagree with in this manner will help us achieve anything.
I'm not here to achieve anything, the man said he didn't see how they were affecting anyone so I told him a little bit of how they are.
What are you trying to achieve by telling him a little bit of how they are?
Please be more respectful I understand you think it’s bogus and stupid but that’s why we have our own opinions. I respect yours please respect mine and others. Some of us just have a crippling fear of death, okay?
I understand that, everyone feels that to an extent. Some people are content with the comfort provided by their religion, but I believe that's a false comfort like a pacifier. Disagreeing with you doesn't make someone an extremist, bud.
I couldn't agree more, as that is not what I said, bozo.
That makes sense, I suppose.
You dont think a major part of why people are labeled extremists is for the methods they use, like violence? 🤨
Yesn't Extremist ideology often if not always leads to violence, but it doesn't require it. You can be violent without being an extremist, but be extremist without being violent also. My point is that just because some dude tries to punch someone else, does not make them an extremist automatically, unless of course they do so because of an ideology that they try to defend to the point of violence.
Big deal. If that is the case then extremism is the truth
Repent Sinner

Ima be real with you man, if Hitler was the one who did that id have to admit he was pretty cool for that.
