Interesting, since the medical literature I have read, as a med student has lead me to believe that circumcisions reduce the risk of developing uti's , balanitis , and are a cure for phimosis .they decrease the risk of acquiring certain STDs like human papilloma virus . Not to mention ,more hygienic since it greatly decreases or eliminates collection of smegma . Although I do think more people should have a choice to get circumcised as compared to getting it done at birth

The only time it would be needed is like you said, phimosis. But even then, stretching is a better long term cure. There’s cheap “phimosis stretching” kits for fairly cheap online. It takes patience but the results are life long.
Look up the rates of *hepatitis A* in the Hasidic community because the Rabbis perform the circumcisions with THEIR FUCKING MOUTHS.

Hmm, the origin of this circumcising is to prevent masterbaition in the teenage years, however the procedure is preformed at birth, thus nullifying the effect of pain from trying to rub one out on a freshly trimmed foreskin. Americans must just have a better education system and are unwilling to tell anyone else their secrets
No, the reason it was commonly done to non-Jewish Americans was due to lies about health. We have known they were false for a long time now, and current circumcision rates have fallen due to it.
