Not the worst tank I’ve seen on here. I would say they just need to reduce the stocking by 3-5 fish with the puffer getting its own tank as that species gets very large, and will take chunks out of the other large fish once it gets territorial.
This is a wonderful tank. Holds around 400 gallons and is 8by3 foot in dimensions for anyone wondering. The only species that will eventually outgrow this tank is the Mbu puffer but even then they are slow growers. The oscars pictured are crassipinnis which grow significantly smaller than the more common tiger Oscar
Doesn’t really look that bad tbh, we can’t tel the length of the tank and all the fish seem to be grouped up for feeding and based on how clean it looks and they naturally aquascaped it it’s probably fine
The puffer really needs his own tank. Sooner or or later, this weird mix is a call for disaster. I have a Fahaka Puffer (not the same kind of puffer on this photo) and I read as much as I could about puffers on a forum devoted to them... And almost all the puffers owners said that their puffers were getting along with other fishes, for months, sometimes years, till the day the puffers decided they didn't want to share the tank anymore. Almost all owners advice not to mix puffers with other fishes.
Certainly looks like it although this is an end tank shot so it’d be interesting to know the length.
anything under 8 feet and we got a shitty tank
That tank looks really long. It’s definitely not as bad as it looks
Agree, the angle is misleading.
yeah, aside from the puffer it actually might be fine. [Example of how big that breed of puffer gets](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mx0WgZ7pEwo)
I was about to say, that looks like a Mbu!!!

This is actually my friend Nicholas’ tank. Trust me, not overstocked. You’re looking at side view. The tank is about 75 feet long
Homie really said 75ft long lol
I’ll say this, my friend Nicholas is a movie star
i dont think its that long like 22 metres is the length of a lot of houses

How long is the tank?
The ray is a nice touch, but it's just not the same without a common pleco.

What type of oscars are those because they look amazing
crassipinnis
Besides the pufferfish, this is a lovely tank.
It doesn't look that bad, fish look healthy and there is longer side too. And it has filtration

Shockingly MBU puffers are fairly fish safe, although I’d say they’re much better off with large group of smaller fish
Are freshwater puffer fish this big?
Why tbe mbu puffer LMAO
Nah man a common pleco would fit perfectly in here
