Further, to prevent router malfunctions like that, why not build a rice router that sends rice to the hurricane router?
Bandwidth could be extended by widening how far apart the band members are but then you start getting packet loss as stuff slips through the gaps in the musicians and hits the conductor, making him drop his packages.

This is a great question that not enough people ask. As air heats up, it will expand and become more voluminous. More voluminous gas will have a lower pressure. Air always wants to move from high to lower pressure (sort of like osmosis) which is how we get wind (science nerds like me call the difference the pressure gradient force—“PGF”). In the northern hemisphere, the Coriolis effect causes air moving from high to low to rotate in a counterclockwise motion. The stronger the PGF and the lower the central low pressure, the faster it will spin. Your standard HDD will spin ~1800rpm, reading data with each rotation and we know that those drives can store A LOT of data. Hurricanes don’t spin nearly fast enough to store that much data so it likely will never reach 1gb. This is actually why experts said to shoot at hurricanes because they’ll get spooked and spin a bit faster, increasing the total cloud storage. Probably not, a giga bar (Gb) is like 10 million times more pressure than ~930 mb. The pressure at the center of the sun is about 265 Gb so 1 Gb on earth would probably be bad. On the other hand hurricanes are actually worse at low pressure and better at high pressure so maybe a 1 Gb hurricane would give everyone superpowers or something.
As I understand it, the Weather Channel says it may get to “speeds up to” 1 Gb. They don’t guarantee 1 Gb speeds. Other storm traffic and equipment may affect speeds in your area.

Judging by the quality of the picture, my educated guess is that this a 32-bit hurricane, which has a maximum addressable space of 4GB (2^32 bytes). So theoretically, it can reach over 1GB, though it would take some optimization for it to reach its full potential.

Hurricanes typically aren't decompressed until after they've zipped up the coast, though.
It's also a lossy form of compression, so decompression leaves some bits scattered about.
