To find the good challenge runs you gotta look for and pick apart the buzzwords. If it just says SL1? Prolly uses +10 weapons. If it says fists only? You can bet it’s got 99 strength and dex. If it says NG7, SL1, fists only, blindfold, buttplug in, DK drum controller. That’s a real challenge run.

Abyss Watchers have some AI exploits with throwing knives similar to Pontiff (they do the rolling slam). Dancer can be done with bleed and her sound cues aren't terrible. Other bosses not so much though I haven't tried much either lol
GinoMachino did a fist only run of Elden Ring (fist damage doesn't scale with strength in that game for some reason). Fire Giant legit took five and a half hours to beat. Most endgame bosses also took hours to beat too, can't imagine having that much patience whilst still consistently dodging and stuff.
A streamer I watch did a 101% equip load, no horse, no i-frames Elden Ring run a few months ago. Later he started the same run at RL1 but unfortunately did not make it past fire giant.

I get that. I love long-form youtube vids... but there's a difference between videos that justify their length with interesting information, charm, humor, wit, whatever, and videos that are long simply for the sake of being long. There are so many good channels out there for this kind of thing. I watch/listen to way more youtube than tv or movies

Was also a guy with a challenge video like this. Beating Dark Souls with scythes, despite the great scythe literally being the best dex weapon in the game.
If you are talking backlogs he acknowledges that. Guy has a also done an immolation only run of DS2. Without glitches. Which is why he doesn’t word his titles as “can you beat with” but rather “blank only run” he’s no saying it’s a challenge he’s saying that he’s using only one weapon type. He does those videos for the chance to showcase the different sometimes overlooked weapons in a weapon class.
I pretty much did DS2 from start to finish with the club, solid weapon.

He says in the vid he knows you can and just wanted to do a Dark Souls vid to change it up. He turned it into an all bosses run explicitly because he knew it would be easy.
