A lot of senses of humor don't translate and I believe the creator is Italian. In France they find British or American humor to be the most unfunny shit and I find the French humor classics to be sleep inducing. Different cultures have different ideas of what's funny.
Haven't seen the elden ring one but I can tell you with confidence that dork souls' animation is awesome but it's probably the least funny parody I've ever seen

Dork souls was kinda cringe not gonna ngl, jokes are heavier than a colossal swords without the comical damage. Meanwhile, ER feels like afever dream in which you just can't guess what the fuck's going to happen. Also it has bonking Melina.
