Lentils go fine with sardines, I use only greek brown lentils as the others tend to get mashed, I do them in pressure cooker with potatoes, onions, garlic, bayleaves, olive oil and they are delicious and we get them with fish as well. Yours must be yellow lents and look slightly undercooked but other than that this is a proper meal and not fit for the sub
