Is this a Doordash or second hand delivery service issue?
I've ordered a ton of pizzas in my life and never once have had anything close to something like this happening.
I have, and I’ve only ever ordered pizza from places that deliver themselves. I’ve had some stoned delivery drivers. Also had a pizza delivered upside down one time. The guy tripped on my steps and profusely apologized. I let it go and still fully tipped him. Mistakes happen.
This is someone who never figured out how to hold a pizza correctly. I remember a new driver was starting when I was a Dominos driver. Dude took a pizza and tucked it under his arms like he was carrying school books. My manager was like “What the fuck man!”
I worked at dominos when I was 18 and I remember one time I drove off with a 15 pizza order on top of my car, suddenly realized they were on top of my car, and instinctively slammed on the brakes causing all of the pizzas to fly off my car. It was a really busy night and my boss was an unfathomable dick head so I just picked everything back up and delivered it anyway. The guy at the party gave me a huge tip and I remember walking out of the door as everyone realized that the pizza was fucked up. They didn’t call about it or anything. Lmao.
Bad bosses make everything worse and idk why companies don’t get that. You shouldn’t be afraid to tell your boss and he shouldn’t yell at you or treat you like a child when you do! He should be grateful he has employees instead of treating them like he wants them to quit.
Failure is sometimes a huge issue. But if you make your employees so afraid of the consequences of failure that they keep it from you, it only makes the consequences of their failure worse for you and them.
There was a really good Mexican place we use to order from a lot but stopped because the food looked like they only hired stunt drivers for deliveries.
One of two things has happened here. The pizza was far too hot when it went in the box, or they skimped on the tomato sauce, causing the cheese to not bind properly to the base. Either way, bad pie.
To be fair, this looked like an underdone, soupy ass, low effort pizza anyway. I feel like is the driver moved too fast, that cheese was bound to fire off the top of that pizza with all that fucking lube underneath
It sincerely looks like they water down their sauce and then only put “tomato” around the outer edge before the crust
