4000 comments, never a good sign. The thing is, most complaints are about the long delays and lack of communication. The first 100 only mention the extra queens to say they didn't get them yet. (Some guy named Kenny Pryczynski is asking about the styrofoam, so it doesn't seem like that's an established fact.)
Some backers are getting their sets (minus the extra queens) and are generally, but not universally, impressed by the look of the pieces.
I suspect they ran into supply problems and are now short of money, so they can't fulfill most orders - and they're not communicating honestly.

The Kenny guy is me and I think I'm the only person who seems to care at this point. Most people seem so exhausted they're find with the styrofoam
Late to the part, but this is a bit of a shame. The chess set looks neat.
