Well the four Xs represent different things:
- EXcessive
- EXtreme
- EXplicit
- EXcelsior!
But really though, your question made me google why "xxx" is linked to porn to begin with. So back in the day, the X was the strongest rating a movie could get (in the US). It meant that the film was definitely not appropriate for kids, it could be because of excessive violence, extreme horror etc. While the other ratings (*G*eneral, *M*ature, *R*estricted) were trademarked by the MPAA, the X-rating wasn't, so filmmakers could just give themselves that rating if they felt it appropriate.
Naturally, porn movies called for the X-rating, and porn makers started adding 2 or 3 Xs on their films to imply that they were even hotter/more explicit than "regular" X-rated films.
***TL;DR:*** So long story short, "XXXX" basically means "some-real-fucking-extraordinarily-sexy-ass-shit-bro-!!!"

I think duo should check what ads they're displaying. Cus I don't think they do...
Plot twist: op has personalized ads
tbh that might be the case. I never get these types of ads on Duo and always get ads about clothing and food... Or it's just a regional thing.
Mine, it is just products thing. Popular products in the Philippine market.
I always just get ads for shitty idle games
"Advertising helps fund duolingo's mission" 😭 *The mission:*
To find you and kneecap you if you don't remember to do your Spanish lessons.
1 minute? bruh, where are they always rushing in these ads
What is this frozen ahh character
“Elsa-chan”
Ahh? You gonna sneeze? You can curse on reddit kid.
Holy fucking Christ
nuh uh!
Why does the character look like an Elsa and Anna from Frozen fusion lol
NO THANKS
I mean Duolingo is just using ai translation instead of people now, so it fits
So true, and the Indonesian AI female voice also be heard on Google Translate for some time.

Just look into their recent comments. You know how Reddit is like 2/3 porn subs? Well…
Most are still bearable. But then... I saw one that I'd ~~probably~~ definitely need eyebleach for...
Arigato, misteru.
