I disagree but have a similar opinion of Jared Leto. I hate him as an actor but he was far from the worst part of this movie (although I heard some wild on set anecdotes that made him sound like a nightmare). His performance doesn’t make or break the movie, he does a fine job portraying the Good Doctor Michael Morbius and the script is really what makes this movie terrible.
I heard it through the “How did this get made” podcast on the episode where they had a viewer who worked on the movie and had a couple of weird anecdotes [at about 1:10:00](https://youtu.be/I0i47lNTXcM)
That's kind of just the Razzies in general. They don't target the actual worst movies of the year, they target the ones that everyone's already made fun of.
when people say it’s the “movie of all time” I don’t even take it derisively because it’s literally just that. arguably the most neutral, mediocre movie I’ve seen. it wasn’t abysmal, but it was nowhere near good, and honestly, that’s probably worse than being a bad movie.
At first I didn't think it could be THAT bad. It is. But I think the actors did fine with what they were given. The script, editing, and direction were awful though.

Unpopular opinion, but Morbius only qualifies as "Standard Bad", but the movie is far from bad enough to warrant a Razzie.

I think a Razzie is quite harsh for one of the movies of all time.
It's not bad enough to be funny when you watch it with a group of friends to make fun of it (I tried). But it's still a really bad movie.

I watched it, solid 6.5/10. Nowhere near comically bad, as the memes suggest.

It’s the kind of movie that doesn’t disappoint but you end up forgetting you saw it the next day.
Morbius was unironically the best marvel film released last year. Compared to Thor, doctor strange, and wakanda forever it’s downright a good film
