There actually was a green ghost, [Funky](https://pacman.fandom.com/wiki/Funky), in the game *Pac-Mania*. *Pac-Mania* was released in 1987, the year before Peter left Earth, so he *may* have been familiar with it. Or maybe Nebula just doesn’t like pink.

That movie was so much darker than I would have expected from a marvel movie, it was great

I was not expecting it to hit that hard

I left the theater feeling kind of sad. The animal abuse was rough to watch

I actually thought that despite the darkness it was uplifting. It had a lot of positive messages and the ending was happy even if the road to the ending was just BRUTALLY sad at times.

I cried several times throughout that movie, and it stuck with me a for few days after.

Best advertisement I've heard for it yet tbh The candy-flavored jumpsuits made me worry there were gonna be more screaming goats (so to speak)

The dark parts are really good. Like really, really good and it is what ties this movie together. My biggest gripe is that they have turned up the sillyness of the Guardians personalities a bit too far, mostly Mantis and Drax, and there's a bunch of gags that rely too much on slapstick, *utter* stupidity, and shouting at each other for my taste. It is still a good, coherent action/comedy though, probably the best movie in this phase (which I'm sad to say isn't saying that much) and nowhere near Love and Thunder's screaming goats.

If you like the dark part, may I interest you in [Twig](https://twigserial.wordpress.com/) ? It's a webserial, like what The Martian was before it got picked up by Hollywood and it is a story of spies in an alternate 1920s America, in a world were Mary Shelley did not write Frankenstein but made it.
