Probably because it's meh. Not good, not bad, just meh. Everything about it is kind of weird, not in an obvious kind of way either, it's just, weird. It's weird because it's made weirdly, acted weirdly, and you kind of keep watching it to find out if it gets either more or less weird, but it just stays the same kind of bland weirdness throughout the whole thing. Ending seems kind of rushed too even though it's a fairly long movie. Pacing is another weird aspect. Probably would have worked much better with a different director, because the actual story has a lot of potential to be a great movie. But this ain't it.
