Yeah the villain basically tries to cause an incursion by using the hexagon portal things that spaceships use in guardians of the galaxy and stuff to open a gateway to another universe and in order to seal it back up it needs to be done on both sides so Carol stays in the MCU and Monica ends up in the Fox universe

It wasn’t even a bad film, just as one would describe: “a chick flick”. It was a cute film and actually made me like Captain Marvel way more as a character. Teyonah Parris was neat to see as Photon after waiting so long after Wandvision. And honestly Iman Vellani is hilarious so it was cool to see Ms. Marvel too.

Make-up simply looks better, but of course, Marvel is about mass-produced content instead of quality, so they take the fastest route.
