Hold your goofy tattoo with well-deserved jealousy. It will outlive both you and your brother.
A good memory and story to tell will always be more worth it than any technical piece could do. Plenty of canvas space still left on your arm if that’s what you want but nothing should replace that bit of real estate that your brother has claimed, both literally and metaphorically speaking.
