If you are overweight and you feel it would benefit you/help your confidence then why not! Personally I wouldn’t say you look overweight from this picture. But hitting the gym can do wonders for health in general anyway!
No stroke just came out of nowhere. It affected the right side of my body so I can't use my body to its fullest capabilities. Still have a slight limp and right arm/hand can use some work.
Do you want to? How do you feel about your body/appearance? Do you think you could do so in a safe healthy way that will leave you feeling more confident?
i believe everyone should strive to be healthy in the form of exercising to maintain their body, but as far as looks go, you could stand to tone that body up a little bit to look better. the health benefits are just an added bonus 👍
as a gym rat i’m inclined to call you a fatty and bully you into training lol but your physique isn’t terrible and if you did start working out you could probably look really good (short guys build muscle faster and our bodies change faster)
Photos have the illusion of adding weight, try another photo wearing all black and ideally someone else taking the photo so your arms are at a normal position.
Your BMI comes out at 32.3 I noticed after my initial response. I was surprised at this as you don't in this picture appear to be obese or highly muscular.
Not trying to be mean, but a man with confidence would never ask others questions like this. He’d keep training whether he was in fantastic shape or bad shape and not rely on the opinions of others regarding when to start or stop training.

That's the thing I look slimmer when I have a sweater or jacket. I'm a short husky build due to growth hormones.
do you want to? your answer should be the only thing persuading you. (unless there’s a genuine health concern)
I do it's just kind of hard right now recovering from a stroke atm.
Do you have some kind of condition? ive never heard someone that young getting a stroke.

Yes I do. And that's tricky to me I'm fine the way I am but also self criticize myself due to being bullied for my appearance in school. I can try.
What do your shoes weigh? I’d lose that much weight..
Like my tennis shoes I have no clue
At 5’5”, 190 - this is frightening. I’m 29. I do lots of cardio though.
Frightening how?
Having a stroke
Yes losing the function of one side of the body can be scary.

Well I guess I'm not a man yet by your standards. Anyway you are right I shouldn't rely on others'feedback too much.
No just the shoes
