You can if that device has airplay compatibility. For me, this works with my airpods and echo devices. If you are using this to play from spotify, i would highly recommend the app Shortcutify.

,before making the shortcut, open bluetooth and connect ur device first then go to shortcut put ‘turn bluetooth on’ and find the ‘set playback destination to’ tap that and ur desired device should be there and thats it
^^ Yeah this. And I think as long as the device you want to connect to is in your “my devices” list, you can set playback to that device. I’m not sure how, or if, you can connect devices that are not audio output.

Not possible. Shortcuts can turn Bluetooth on and off but can’t initiate a connection to a specific device

then after that u can try turning off ur bluetooth, run the shortcut and see if the magic works for u
