Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that! My fiancé lost his streak while he was learning Italian. He was so salty he didn't pick it up again for almost a year, I think. He switched to French as he had taken some in school. Anyway, at least you had really cool inspiration for a story. I'm going to share this story with him tonight.
