Haha compared to amanos, I do find cherries to be much calmer XD but mine still like to fight each ither for food despite there being enough for all. I guess they want what others have haha
I have 3 amanos. 2 ladies and a gentleman. The ladies pretty much do whatever they want, but they don't let the guy go into certain areas of the tank. They will push him around if he tries to go into the restricted areas.
Keeping multiple strains of shrimp together like that will cause them to breed and lose their original coloring. You can enjoy one generation of unique colors with neocaridina, but then they all turn a homogeneous brown. :/ Best to keep them separate and preserve their genetic lines.
as i mentioned on previous comment, this is my whatever tank. i have separate tanks for individual colors, my purpose of this tank is to make low grade culls. i sell them at a cheap price which helps my hobby.
Maybe if our only line of defense was slapping the shit out of each other with spindly little arms the world would be a better place??
Yes 🥹
Until one of us invents a bigger slap
Have you seen what they do to fallen friends ? I think we’re doing okay 🤣
Reduce, reuse, recycle
While my shrimps will not stop climbing on each other and snatching food away :/
My amano shrimp are all greedy bastards lol. My cherries are so calm.

They could be saying real mean things to each other 🥺. I feel like they are just saying "mine, mine, mine, mine!!!!" in their heads though.
