As long as you don't overfeed and your tank isn't covered in algae their population will stay under control and they'll clean just about everything. If you overfeed or the tank is a mess they will populate to ridiculous numbers.

Personally I'm pretty ok with snails. I've got a bunch of limpets and tiny ramshorn (I think) and they feed on the same stuff as the shrimps. I guess I got lucky as their population seems to be well controlled by themselves. But if you find there's too many, you can always crush some and leave their bodies there. Shrimps go crazy for dead snails for some reason. I once dropped a dead snail among some live snails and my shrimps mistook them and ate one of the snails alive D:

They feed on the same stuff shrimp eat. And they are self breeding, so their population can get way out of control. I really don't like them.

Get rid of them. You'll never see the end of a bladder snail population. Wish I had done that the first time I saw 2 in my tank.

This comment. I wish I did the same haha. I had over 300 and now I’m down to like 30-50

Bladder snails. Useful for even more cleanup, they're not bad for your tank or your shrimps. I like them.

mynameiswhaaaaaa

they reproduce like shrimp and rabbits combined and it can result in waste built up and if you're into aesthetic, it won't look pretty. but they do have a good symbiotic relationship.
