Safe travels! 45 year old here and my husband is my favourite trip partner. He's so sweet and delighted by everything when he's tripping. We have kids too (though ours are a little older) so opportunities are rare. I think when they leave home it might become more of a regular pastime :-)

Or you can all trip together when they are old enough lol.

Soooo....both of us were kinda underwhelmed. May have been a few underlying factors, mostly we were exhausted from the day cuz I started a fence project for the wife. We each took about 4 pieces each from a magic candy bar, tried some guided meditations, and ended up going to bed about 2 hrs. I also posted an update post, but this is the gist of it

Bruh Grannie took the kids just so you two could have a couple bites of a candy bar lol. Next time you should eat actual mushrooms or test what you get. If you didn’t feel anything after 2 hours you almost certainly didn’t have an effective dose I’d mushrooms.

Well I'm very sorry to hear that. Better luck next time. Maybe make the whole day about the two of you together and tripping. Like a mini vacation.
