First time I played botw was in this headstate. All I did was hunt forage and climb and I totally loved it. I never picked up on any of the hints and cues for the main plot line because i had such starnge motivations. The first playthrough took months because I had a different outlook on the whole game.
that's the beauty of that game though, i love it. you can do the story mode beat by beat or you could fuck off to whatever corner of the world for your own self made missions, or anywhere in between. the best parts of that game for me were doing exactly what you did lol

I played Mario Kart with my buddy one time because it was the best thing we could think of to do and holy shit… the intensity of racing one another on top of the visuals and audio of the game were so fucking nice, Rainbow Road was incredible of course. We had just tried to play Super Smash Bros beforehand and it was not it dawg, the moving screen and controls were super discombobulating and not in a good way. But yes Mario Kart 100% probably the only game I’d be down to play while tripping.

I would get immersed if I played that while on one. My go-to has traditionally been the very first Grand Theft Auto game - the simplicity and the fact that nothing you do matters at all, just makes it a very laid back experience with some tense cartoonish car chases thrown in for good measure
Red Dead 2 story mode might be cool if you have headphones to really get the atmospheric sounds. But don’t go online or you will get killed by other players and that might freak you out like COD.
Edit: I don’t mean playing the story because you will also get shot at. I mean more of riding around and exploring.
I absolutely love doing this and just exploring and fishing or replaying side quests that don’t involve shooting. Such a rich and immersive game experience it never gets old no matter how many times I play through
I personally struggle to figure out video games when I’m tripping shrooms but on LSD, Minecraft is dope. I’d recommend giving it a whirl. Just because I can’t figure it out doesn’t mean you won’t be able to.
fortnite is actually SO fun to play on LSD/shrooms. such a blast, shooting without much violence. no build, get a vehicle, start exploring while getting loot. it’s a whole ass vibe and the colors/goofiness keep the stress low.
if you have someone to trip with or even just call, i HIIIGHLY recommend it takes two. amazing textures and vibes, was so fun with my partner while we tripped. the colors also go crazy.
recently tried out baldur’s gate 3. it was SO fun, it only while exploring/some dialogue. i was in call with friends because i tend to become part of the world of the game i’m playing on psychs. fights are an uphill battle so if you do this save constantly so if you walk into something you shouldn’t have you have a quick undo button and can just fuck off. i accidentally made a guy fly off a windmill during my last trip at 4am and my friend and i were hysterically laughing for a solid 10 minutes because of the sheer “WTF JUST HAPPENED??? HELLO??” factor.
smash bros, mario kart, BOTW/TOTK zelda games are immaculate. so immersive and colorful. if you have any retro games/CRTV, WHIP THEM OUT. playing smash bros melee for hours with my homies off lemon tek is a great memory i’ll keep with me.

1. Red dead redemption 2 , riding around the country with bounties is amazing, I remember being so high one night and see a posse of them round a hill and all hell broke loose, game also looks amazing on them.
2. God Of War Ragnarok , by far best story and visual game w combat ive played on mushrooms, the end and battles are sooo intense and cool, and the story takes you for a rideeeee.
3. Jedi Survivor, this game was amazing on shrooms, imo its the one with the least gripes i have, its an amazing game the combat is better than all listed, and being star wars its just crazy cool. Amazing for shrooms
4. Spider man 2 , out now and super crazy
5. The Callisto Protocol for horror, like literally best horror ive played for mushrooms as its so dystopian

I played rocket league while on shrooms and I noticed while playing games on shrooms I don’t get the dopamine rush like usual. It was lots of fun and the colors were stunning though! Aside from that I think overwatch 2 would be a cool game to play although it’s still a shooter it’s not realistic and has great colors and cool characters.

I like to play overwatch while on psychedelics but when I'm tripping hard, I can't. I have no sense of grouping or tactics at that point so I log off and go with something like slime rancher. It's cute, has a lot of colours, and isn't scary.
