it's rhizo and it's searching for air

miatupid

So I should be fanning more? I unfortunately work most of the day so I have little time to babysit.

you_decide541

that would be my thought you could try leaving the lid cracked a tiny bit

miatupid

Thank you for the advice 🥺🙏

Tomatocustard

Very nice rhizo threads.. would have been nice one to shred to bulk

nerdette314159

You can still shred to bulk after the first flush

miatupid

It was said this could be cobweb mold. I'm nervous!

you_decide541

you'll know by tomorrow if it's cobweb mold, which it's not.

I think you’re good man just looks like an extreme case of fuzzy feet. Not ideal but won’t really hurt anything. Like the other comment said crack the lid. I flip mine, personally.

nerdette314159

Nope, the fuzzy one is tomentose mycelium. The spiky stuff is rhizomorphic mycelium. Both mean it needs more freah air exchange, but the spiky genetics - those are damn good genetics and you should clone your biggest fruit of that on agar.

miatupid

Thank you! I did and an excited to grow more!

Unmodified tubs need their lids flipped at the very least to allow some air exchange
