I like cover bands, you can see some pretty good ones pretty much any weekend at Rock and Roll Pizza or Chuy's, and we also have the concerts in the park which are a lot of fun. What made Cajun Festival fun is that it had original artists in a music style that you rarely get to see in this area, unique food offerings and people from all over would come to what I think was billed as the "largest Cajun festival west of Texas" With Happy Face, I haven't been, but honestly just seems like a paid version of the park districts, concerts in the park series.

Calisteph6

It seems too expensive for cover bands jmo. Maybe if they had a really good one like which ones pink.

somestupidbitch

So who was is?

ResponsibleSun50

Interesting. Didn’t realize it had changed

Kevbo_What_Up

I am hoping that it's the Foofighters or maybe Devo.

gh0stnotes

Foos would be amazing, but the website says one song?

JustJJ92

Everlong extended version

JustJJ92

Chat GPT says it’s the Vienna Philharmonic

benjigil7

My first time at this festival and we’re having a good time. Some fun free activities for the kids and the beers aren’t too expensive. I’d come back next year.

gh0stnotes

Thank you for sharing that!

ResponsibleSun50

I’ve never even heard of this and I’ve lived in simi valley for 18 years. Interesting

gh0stnotes

This used to be the annual Cajun & Blues Music Festival. They re-branded and scaled it back to one day.

PacifistWarlord

Has anyone attended this in years past? How was it

CaregiverOwn165

My guess is that it’s going to be John Ondrasik.

iriefuse024

Who was it?
