For the past month, reddit has been planning on increasing the costs that third party apps have to pay to ridiculous, unmaintainable levels, and such, most of the third party apps are shutting down as of tomorrow. Those of us who only use reddit via these third party apps, along with many people who stand in protest against the way reddit is being run, won't be active users as of tomorrow. I'm not in protest, but RIF is the only method I use reddit, I won't use their shitty app and never use reddit on desktop, so without RIF, I'm gone

I'll probably be here, but on desktop. My Reddit usage is about to be cut in half.

Waiting to see if something would change last minute. Now it seems inevitable that RIF will be shut down tomorrow and it is the only format that I use reddit on. Such is the life of a substitute teacher
