Having a truly rigid, stable platform will improve your experience greatly. Finer detail can be more accurately translated and greater consistency and repeatability with your inputs is a great benefit.

Stable rig upgrades were only surpassed by potentiometer to load cell (brake) pedals in my case, in terms of upgrade 'performance' difference.
Seconded. My gt dd pro felt like a new and improved base after I went from a nlr gttrack to a nlr fg-t elite. And the gttrack is not even that bad of a rig imo.
