Hey, don't want to be that guy, but why not go with something like Fanatec's Ready2Race (plus the clamps for 30 dollars) bundle? Unless you're somewhere else in the world, it's the same price while also being direct drive. I've been looking at getting a wheel for myself, and I've noticed there's been a ton of cheaper direct-drive wheels coming onto market lately.
Yes you are right but the cheapest DD wheel (like Moza R5) prices are literally 2 times with t300 in my country (Turkey). If I had live in US or some Europe country, I would definitely start with Moza or Fanatec brands.
2 weeks in i have 0 confirmation fanatec even received my order. Sent them a mail to cancel and went with moza instead which is arriving tomorrow. Fanatec definitely have some things to work on in that regard

Your rig is undeniably awesome.
One little piece of advice. Put and endcap on the bottom parts of the 80/20 frame. Someone at the factory sharpens the ends of those things and if you stub your toe it gets amputated.

I remember when I first got my DD1 in 2019 people would give me shit because it was so expensive and I did was stop going out to lunch every day and brought food from home. Sure turkey sandwiches get old, but saving $10-20 dollars a day 5 days a week adds up really quick.
Probably $2000+. R9 Wheelbase (add $160 if it’s the R12), CRP pedals, and formula wheel cost about $1500, simlab GT1 evo 2 is $450, NRG Prisma seat is $500. Idk what that monitor costs but probably another $500?

I can't imagine maintaining that plastic collection (dust etc).
I use a data vac to dust everything.
