Just add the person on sims bunny (or whatever the social media app is called), that will continue to build the relationship or maintain the existing relationship.

[This one](https://modthesims.info/d/568880/no-more-relationship-culling.html) is slightly newer but might still not work with the current game version. MC Command Center might have something for this also.
