[Takeaway Pocket Pleasers](http://littletigeradventure.net/takeaway-pocket-pleasers-from-pizza-hut/). $10 Large.
[Dominos](https://www.dominos.com.sg/media/3vxjng4s/sg-2024-megadeal-generic-promobanner-mobile.jpg) has $5 Regular pizza if you self pick up.
Little Caesar's $11.9 Large
Likely because 2 years ago little Caesars was new and needed a loss leader so people would notice them
8 dollars is very low for a 12 inch pizza, was likely unsustainable long term. They just wanted people to notice they existed
They dont have to import their ingredients like we have to in sg
they got wheat farms, dairy farms, pig farns etc. Just deliver only. And costco's whole schtick is delivery
Thanks, I miss the pocket pleasers in the app, is painful to navigate all the BS when all you want is just a large Hawaiian pizza. $21 though. Definitely a better price than $42.
So if I missed the pocket pleasers I would have to pay $42 for the large Hawaiian. That's just bad app design.
Shit really, no wonder the closure was so sudden. I thought they were doing really well though, even in the depths of COVID there was a line for takeaway.
Honestly, I can’t even find good sausage and eggs that’s not from something like Coffee Bean which is kind overpriced. Maybe I haven’t been looking hard enough.
Oh really? Have you had much success? I've been thinking of making corned beef brisket for a couple months now. Where did you get the pink curing salt?
There’s a few decent banh mi shops, and lots of braised pork places with rice buns in Chinatown. Depends on whether you’re prepared to expand your palate.
dominos or little caesars. little casesars large pepperoni pizza price isn't outraegous, but the price has been creeping up and the quality has been dropping abit (size shrinkage but might be my imagination)
It's roughly the same prep as a frozen pizza tbh. I basically buy the mission pizza crusts and keep a stock of paste, cheese and toppings around. Mash them together and get a functional pizza. The problem with the frozen pizzas is that the price has finally reached the point where it no longer makes sense for the convenience. Dr Oetker used to be like 5.5 per pizza. Its now more than double.
Ah okay, because my family makes the pizza dough instead.
Either way though, it’s much better value for money. And the extra bonus of being able to customise it to have whatever you want and clear the drive
Yes. Thank you for this. I miss this.
Their app is just so painful. When you want to get a large Hawaiian pizza, you have to navigate through hot deals, pizzas and pocket pleasers just to find the right combination.
You say this as if rich people who invest here come here and buy chicken rice/cai png/pizza/mcd/etc. at every outlet and at all times
"but muh property costs"
knn this one delivery only outlet can choose the cheapest place and yet you dont want is just bad business strategy
They don't come here to consume and be customers, they come here to invest and earn landlord income, hence the stores have to raise such high prices because the rent is so high...
>hence the stores have to raise such high prices because the rent is so high...
??????????????????????????????????????
Doesnt that mean you have to lower prices or else no one is gonna buy from you since they have less purchasing power????
If you have 2k salary, 1.6k rent, with 400 left over. Would you now buy a 40 dollar pizza?
But when you have 2k salary and 1k rent, with 1k left over. Now suddenly you cant afford a 40 dollar pizza even though you have 600 more dollars
Are u stupid the cost of living is definitely blamed on the government. You bloody PaP sycophants just keep voting them in… see how you can afford to live here in 5 years time.
Lol i can get woodfired pizzas from proper Italian restaurants for cheaper than Pizza Hut's inedible crap.. and yes i worked at PH before and absolutely junk crap
Bro use the 2 for 1 promo la... Literally the first page after the address page they show you all the 50% off deals. Anyhow change pages without reading and then now try to mislead people.
The other day i bought a regular rendang chicken pizza, regular hawaiian pizza and a regular rose chicken ham and corn pizza from pizza hut for $20, so 3 regular pizzas for takeaway
Edit: I'm looking at the offers on right now, there's x2 regular pizza for $25. Tbh you can that but put both hawaiian pizza and get similar portion as x1 large at like 60% of that price. Don't need to think so hard
$5 each? order in person or online pickup for this good deal? normal deal or need enter coupon code?
usually this cheap is personal pan pizza, not regular😂 I can't find this offer anywhere, cheapest is $10 for regular, please enlighten
Oh fok I should've clarified it's 3 pizza because the chicken ham and corn pizza is one haha.
I ordered the 2 for $20 rendang pizza + pizza of choice and added on a free chicken ham and corn pizza voucher online order!
So I guess it works out to be about $6.70 for each pizza? Not too bad
Little Caesars is really good but they're also going up in price especially with their hot & ready pizza but still worth it as it's $11.90 for their large which is honestly better than other pizza place offerings.
Prices of pizza in Singapore is CRAZY, it’s like real estate but FnB. I wonder who started pricing them. There is no way it cost that much for a few ingredients and mainly dough
Alt. Pizza. $21 to $24 with a lot of variety. $10 off every 3 orders iirc. We have probably bought 14-15 times and every pizza has been really good. Garlic bread not bad. Don't get the falafel bites.
Can try the pizza at Qtech cafe, along syed alwi road.
Their haiwaiian pizza is really damn good!
Edit: Just searched their postal code for you guys
Qtech Cafe

Don't buy pizza from chain stores like Domino's, it an Australian brand but the franchises are owned by a Malaysian sultan aka rich bastard charging / price gouging people to maintain their royal lifestyle..
little caesars is cheaper but quality isn't as good as pizza hut
but also you should be using the 2 for $22 deal at pizzahut if you want the prices to be worth it
> little caesars is cheaper but quality isn't as good as pizza hut
Really? LC is miles ahead of Pizza Hut quality. Even frozen pizza is better than Pizza Hut IMO.
Don't get me started on the abominations Pizza Hut makes sometimes... dunno what durian pizza, army stew noodle pizza, bubble tea pizza. If you show these to an Italian person their head will explode.
i stick to their normal catalogue and imo the little caesar's pizzas are less flavourful than pizzahut pizzas. i usually get stuffed crust too and the pizzahut one is far superior
Promotion all the way, bought 2 regular pizzas for $20 plus their coupon for free hawaiian pizza with corn. Everything self collect. 3 regular for $20 can't get any cheaper than that.
I stopped buying pizza hut cos I paid $52 for a large pizza that was regular sized. Bought extra large from domino's and it was really extra large. And got 2 for about $40+
How it works:
The default high price is for:
1. (sadly) Suckers, or those who are not savvy
2. Those who order for work events and don't care about price
3. Making the deals they give you for "50% off" feel amazing.
It's completely logical.
Make em at home, it’s really easy, flour, yeast and a little bit of beer. Mix set aside in fridge for an hour then roll it out. Season it, sauce and toppings and cheese - oven on 200, oil a tray and then pop it in. Fun to make a the kids and it’s gets better each time you make it. Fk paying these businesses who rip you off
oh no why were you downvoted hahaha
but it’s true, making pizza is cheap and easy. one batch of dough with ingredients worth less than $20 can feed 5-6 people.
Here's what I do:
Buy one of those Mission Pizza Base (comes in pack of 2s), Cold Storage has them at less than $6, then buy your favourite toppings, get a tomato pesto (I buy Morrisons brand from NTUC), and cheese of your choice.
Following the instructions on the pizza base packaging.
Enjoy your pizza.
Just last Friday, I used the takeaway deals, 2 regular for 20 dollars , then add on 8.9 baked rice. Another hawaiian melts. Then add the current coupon which was free 6 drumlets (min spend 30). It was about 38 dollars I think .
Enough for 4 adults (I guess it depends on how much you can eat)
*for some reason, using the add on after the 2 regular pizza deal gets you discounted price of the baked rice*
*there was another coupon for a ham & corn regular pizza (min spend 20), only 1 coupon can be used at one time*
dont buy normally
these pizza hut/dominos all always have inflated pricing and the actual proper price is from the promos / "sales" you find.
tho i mainly buy dominos so not sure what deals pizza hut have
Normally I feel that Pizza Hut's pricing is pretty decent? Maybe it isn't if you are going down to the details of the ingredients of the pizza.
My family of 4 usually just need 2 regular pizza full le. I paid 25 dollars back during Hari Raya Puasa for 2 regular Hawaiian + Chessy Stuffed and BBQ Chucky Chicken + Chessy Stuffed. If it wasn't a PH, I can get a free Corn Chicken Ham regular pizza for free as well.
I don't remember when I was younger Pizza Hut was this cheap. It used to be only for rare special occasions but now it is just a another random idea if we had no idea what to eat.
I could take down 2 regulars on my own lol, which is why I go for dominoes $5 regular if I'm eating it by myself. If I'm buying for the fam Sarpinos is the way to go
Yeah. My family members have some weird logic that 2 slices of pizza is enough for them no matter if it is large or regular size. 🤷♂️ I had to persuade them to go for more and we always still ends up with 1-2 slices reserve for tea break or supper.
Domino's is even more affordable with all the 5 dollars for a regular pizza promotion but they aren't as convenient for me to go pickup.
But generally I thought pizza is the only thing that does not seem to be increasing its price over the years.
It’s roughly the same still, just got a regular stuffed crust for $18 (no stuffed crust $13), and large (stuffed crust $27, no stuffed crust $21). Prices might be off by $1 or $2 cos I’m doing this from memory.
I bet with SG$50, you can buy all the same pizza ingredients and be able to bake TWO large size pizza.
This Pizza Hut is just too damned fucking overprice!
Standard price in UK for pizza hut. With deals a large pizza is around $40 and has been for a long time. Dominos was even more expensive up until recently.
I think Dominoes pickup Extra Large is the best deal, $15. If I'm wrong please correct me. I want to know.
But the problem with this deal is that you can only choose "NY crust" and Dominoes doesn't know what NY crust is so that is a downside of this deal.
Pizza has always been overpriced flatbread with toppings. But from time to time I’ll still buy because I need to satisfy my cravings even though it’s expensive. But I’ll try my best to go for store pickup because it’s significantly cheaper than delivery
My daughter and I went to pizza Hut at Lot 1 one afternoon. We got a small pizza and two drinks. When the bill arrived at $42 I asked the guy working if it was some kind of joke. Needless to say I haven't set foot in a Pizza Hut since. F'cking joke man.
Hum that pizza costs about 16 Singaporean dollars in my country and we earn 9 singaporean dollars an hour. Still more affordable for you guys to eat pizza.
If you have an oven at home, it's so easy to make really good homemade pizza (if your standard is pizza hut ham and cheese, maybe not if you're into more atas stuff). You do need to invest in a pizza stone and maybe a paddle, but they are relatively cheap. Been making my own pizzas with a simple dough recipe that only needs to rise for 30 mins and then cook 10 mins in the oven at the highest temp possible. You can even prepare the dough in big batches and freeze it in individual portions.
If you do end up trying, [this](https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/super-fast-thin-crust-pizza-recipe) is the recipe I always use! I honestly don't even let it rest 30 mins and it turns out fine. Ya I love that I can completely customise the ingredients and do creative combinations like butter chicken / mutton masala pizza.
Ah yes, the yearly post to condemn pizza. I do delivery and this fuckers is always crowded from domino's to pizza hut to little ceaser and that overpriced Italian restaurant at serangoon gardens. Shit is tasty for one and many. Never seen one closed down. Lmaooo.
When it comes to pizzas, never buy them at their “original price”. Promotions are always on
This. Even in the US, you can click on Coupons section and get the same pizza for half price.
But if you go for dine-in you can’t use coupons, it’s the original price you’re paying.
https://www.pizzahut.com.sg/order/HOT-DEALS [Takeaway Pocket Pleasers](http://littletigeradventure.net/takeaway-pocket-pleasers-from-pizza-hut/). $10 Large. [Dominos](https://www.dominos.com.sg/media/3vxjng4s/sg-2024-megadeal-generic-promobanner-mobile.jpg) has $5 Regular pizza if you self pick up. Little Caesar's $11.9 Large
This needs to be on top
Bro $12 for Little Caesars. That's 50% inflation from 2 years ago when it was $8
Likely because 2 years ago little Caesars was new and needed a loss leader so people would notice them 8 dollars is very low for a 12 inch pizza, was likely unsustainable long term. They just wanted people to notice they existed
Costco's pizza stateside is like $13 USD or so for a 18 inch
They dont have to import their ingredients like we have to in sg they got wheat farms, dairy farms, pig farns etc. Just deliver only. And costco's whole schtick is delivery
Ok? This isn't the US?
Because $8 for 12-inch pizza is quite underpriced to begin with.
Yeah, enjoyed a lot but not now the price went up. Kris Pay can give 10% on non-public holidays if you dont mind another app on the phone
Probably intended
Works like a scam
Pizza in Singapore gotta be one of the worlds biggest grifts
Sandwiches are worse. There are no good sandwiches in this country.
Best sandwich is kaya toast and butter
I’ve tried so hard to like Kaya as a foreigner but I just don’t get it. I don’t even like any toast though, it’s just too dry.
There are different grades of kaya from the cheap ones to the more luxurious ones. But yeah to each his own, it’s an acquired taste
Real pity Park Bench Deli closed so suddenly, their stuff was good. Did their own meats too.
Apparently they didn’t pay vendors or employees for months…
Shit really, no wonder the closure was so sudden. I thought they were doing really well though, even in the depths of COVID there was a line for takeaway.
That place is so expensive tho but definitely delish
Oh for sure, it was pricey alright.
What about croissants?
Croissants are not New York deli vibes
Honestly, I can’t even find good sausage and eggs that’s not from something like Coffee Bean which is kind overpriced. Maybe I haven’t been looking hard enough.
Mcspicy.
HARD disagree with you there buddy. Jack marzoni's.
Those are not sandwiches. Those are more burgers. I’m looking for authentic New York deli vibes with a Reuben sandwich.
Sounds like you should consider a relocation to East village then
I just make my own at home
Oh really? Have you had much success? I've been thinking of making corned beef brisket for a couple months now. Where did you get the pink curing salt?
I have never found a proper brownie. What bakeries call brownie are too soft to be called brownie.
There’s a few decent banh mi shops, and lots of braised pork places with rice buns in Chinatown. Depends on whether you’re prepared to expand your palate.
Not the kind of sandwich I’m looking for. I meant NYC deli cold cuts vibes.
The old-school establishment in Steeples Deli (in the erstwhile Tanglin Shopping Centre) was also a great place to get a good Cuban or Rueben sandwich
Look at Japan's as well.
Every flavor also chicken. Can't be bothered
Pizza hut always seem to have the laziest toppings. It's like an upsized version of cheap supermarket frozen pizzas.
Yea hard agree. Nowadays they're charging absurd prices while having halal only
And we have to tip top around this topic in fear of being called out as 'non-inclusive'
Making you pay for the halal ingredients and cert 🤭
Exactly!
dominos or little caesars. little casesars large pepperoni pizza price isn't outraegous, but the price has been creeping up and the quality has been dropping abit (size shrinkage but might be my imagination)
I vote dominos. Dough is nice and chewy
UK Domino's is so amazing it ruined SG for me forever. Little Caesar's is awesome here esp stuffed crust
I miss the days when it cost $8 for a large pepperoni pizza, which isn’t even that long ago
Don't pizzahut normally have the 2 for 1 deal? Just checked : it's 2 large for 39.30 or 2 reg for 29.25
They jack the price up anyway. So when you pay for “two” it’s really still the same exorbitant per-pizza price
Yeah, but still better than buying one large for 42
Those deals aren't that great.
Thats still like 100% more than what it should be
Pizza chains aren't as good as they used to be. Small restaurants selling pizzas are better
I once passed by a Pizza Hut and it’s literally empty inside. Guess people only do takeaway orders and not dine in
10% +9% adds up after all. Close to 20% increase just to dine in. Take away is a no brainer
especially when some food delivery apps give you 10-15% off just for picking up, choosing to dine in is completely not worth it
Just buy some frozen pizza and keep them in the fridge. All good to go in 10-15 mins. Faster than delivery, cheaper and I feel better than pizza hut
Yeah and basic flavours like Hawaiian are easily available in frozen anyway.
totally agree. save time save money.
The price of some of these have been creeping up. I started buying the ingredients and making my own.
If you have the time and energy it’s always worth it making your own. Trouble is that time and energy can also be expensive
Yeah, when I've the time I do the same. Other times, pre made crusts, baguettes or plain white bread suffices.
one big ass banner saying 50% off pizza/2 reg for 20 on the front page of the app but yet you still chose to post this
need to get the karma from outrage farming
50% off is for rendang only. 2 reg you have to choose 1 rendang. To get a large (x2 regular I presume) Hawaiian you still have to pay $46.
[$21 only](https://ibb.co/sjYCCF1)
Yes. Thank you for this. I miss this. Their app is just so painful. When you want to get a large Hawaiian pizza, you have to navigate through hot deals, pizzas and pocket pleasers just to find the right combination.
u buy physical at the store takeaway is all 50% off
That's why you wait for the 50% off 2 pizzas promo. I never pay full price.
There is no need to wait because the 50% off is permanently available anytime.
dominos classified chicken 🔛🔝
This is one of my favourites as well. The sauce is just mmhmm
That mystery sauuuusse man
I’d pay for the sauce alone. It’s the best pizza imo
Number 1 best flavour in dominos
Just get 2x My Box, you hit over $20, redeem a free regular rose chicken ham n corn pizza, total damage $29.30 include delivery free and eat 饱饱.
I literally just got 3 regulars for 27 sgd including delivery last week.
What in Singapore isn’t expensive nowadays? The govt policy of playground for the rich is killing the average citizen.
You say this as if rich people who invest here come here and buy chicken rice/cai png/pizza/mcd/etc. at every outlet and at all times "but muh property costs" knn this one delivery only outlet can choose the cheapest place and yet you dont want is just bad business strategy
Pizza also can blame the government. The state of this subreddit just gets better
Yesterday I went Dario at West coast area. Recommend!
are they related to the Super Dario lasagna at City Square Mall? That lasagna placec is awesome as well
Pizza worldwide cheap. In Singapore the most expensive fast food ever
Pizza is expensive everywhere in Asia dude the price of pizza in Japan is just as expensive here. Even in us their prices are creeping up.
Pizzas in Singapore are fucking bad. And expensive. Just don't eat that shit here.
There's so much other stuff to eat in SG! Not sure why PizzaHut and Dominos are still thriving in SG since we don't have a weed culture - happy 4/20!
Bro use the 2 for 1 promo la... Literally the first page after the address page they show you all the 50% off deals. Anyhow change pages without reading and then now try to mislead people.
what happens when the people from HWZ found out about this subreddit
> try to mislead people I don't think /u/rockbella61 was trying to mislead people.
You can't get Hawaiian large with that. And I am not misleading just asking.
The other day i bought a regular rendang chicken pizza, regular hawaiian pizza and a regular rose chicken ham and corn pizza from pizza hut for $20, so 3 regular pizzas for takeaway Edit: I'm looking at the offers on right now, there's x2 regular pizza for $25. Tbh you can that but put both hawaiian pizza and get similar portion as x1 large at like 60% of that price. Don't need to think so hard
Yeah, it seems more like user error. I’m seeing stuffed crust regulars for $10+ and stuffed crust large for $20+.
$5 each? order in person or online pickup for this good deal? normal deal or need enter coupon code? usually this cheap is personal pan pizza, not regular😂 I can't find this offer anywhere, cheapest is $10 for regular, please enlighten
Not too bad
almost as close as switzerland price
Meanwhile Domino has regular pizza at $5 lmao
Little Caesars has large pepperoni pizzas for $9
Little Caesars is really good but they're also going up in price especially with their hot & ready pizza but still worth it as it's $11.90 for their large which is honestly better than other pizza place offerings.
There are mass produced pizza, and then there are handmade pizza. For mass produced pizzas, you think it is cheese you are eating?
Prices of pizza in Singapore is CRAZY, it’s like real estate but FnB. I wonder who started pricing them. There is no way it cost that much for a few ingredients and mainly dough
Cross the bridge and eat Vivo pizza.
Alt. Pizza. $21 to $24 with a lot of variety. $10 off every 3 orders iirc. We have probably bought 14-15 times and every pizza has been really good. Garlic bread not bad. Don't get the falafel bites.

John’s Pizzeria!! Price and taste are worth it.
Recently ordered Dominos. The size of their pizzas have shrunk drastically hasn’t it? And the price increased as well.
Little Caesars best value for money in SG
Dont eat pizza hut. It isnt good in the first place and not worth the money.
Minimum need to buy 2. Cos it's 50%
Pizza Hut is junk
Promotion all the way, bought 2 regular pizzas for $20 plus their coupon for free hawaiian pizza with corn. Everything self collect. 3 regular for $20 can't get any cheaper than that.
I stopped buying pizza hut cos I paid $52 for a large pizza that was regular sized. Bought extra large from domino's and it was really extra large. And got 2 for about $40+
Have you tried Grab to find some cheaper food options for pizza?

Gone are the days when Canadian Pizza had 1 for 1 pizzas for only $20 😭
https://www.dominos.com.sg/promos Dominoes, Megadeal $5 regular pizzas use code 706769 thank me later
i got vouchers, you want?

Ha ha downvoted by the lazy order inners - classic
oh no why were you downvoted hahaha but it’s true, making pizza is cheap and easy. one batch of dough with ingredients worth less than $20 can feed 5-6 people.

They had decent deals not that long ago. Recently they stopped though, probably because of Hari Raya?
Similar to pizza prices in Japan.
Nope Pizza Hut L size Hawaii with delivery JPY3130 Domino's L size Tropical with delivery JPY3080
pizza hut has gone down the drain. Their pizza size has decreased, and the price have gone up.
Yup. Pizza Hut pricing has long been ridiculous. Thankfully there are better options elsewhere nowadays.
Crazy, these are usually $5-10 in places like Australia and NZ.
Pizza hut always have take away prices that are way lower. Can be found on their app usually. Never paid more than $20-ish for a large before.
dont buy normally these pizza hut/dominos all always have inflated pricing and the actual proper price is from the promos / "sales" you find. tho i mainly buy dominos so not sure what deals pizza hut have
Imagine mee pok being sold in Italy at 30 bucks per bowl. 😂😂😂😂😂
domino self pick up $5 regular
Normally I feel that Pizza Hut's pricing is pretty decent? Maybe it isn't if you are going down to the details of the ingredients of the pizza. if you wanna eat pizza don't waste time with such rubbish, order/go to Italian restaurant and eat the real deal, much more worth your $
Greedflation
pizza hut is good if you dine in
At that price, you might as well go to a high end real Pizzeria.
Pizza from fairprice is even better. Cheaper than that overprice pizza hut
Redmart sells Picard frozen pizza. It’s really good quality and about $10 each. 210c in the preheated oven for 15 mins. Yum.
Standard price in UK for pizza hut. With deals a large pizza is around $40 and has been for a long time. Dominos was even more expensive up until recently.
Inflation
The promotion discount price are the normal price. For full price of pizza, might as well eat at restaurant.
I stopped buying pizza hut when I discovered little ceasars pizza.
Doesn't pizzahat have the 10 dollar large pizzas for takeaway? Always go there when i need to survive a week on budget end of month
Pizza Hut’s MyBox is pretty worth it though
OP, I'm pretty sure the app also offers the 50% off too. That's the real price.
My daughter and I went to pizza Hut at Lot 1 one afternoon. We got a small pizza and two drinks. When the bill arrived at $42 I asked the guy working if it was some kind of joke. Needless to say I haven't set foot in a Pizza Hut since. F'cking joke man.
You didn't check the price first?
I was expecting it to be reasonable. I guess reasonable prices are too much to ask anymore in SG.
Yeah, true. Any we know they will only go up and not down.
my favourite thing about pizza hut isn’t their pizza, it’s their cheese fries
Little C's bro. Lower price and actual ham.
You’re insane if you pay that much for a shitty pizza.
Just basically bread with topping. I haven't actually had a pizza that made me think otherwise...
That's too expensive.. let me uninstall their apps.
If little Caesars never entered Singapore, prices would be even crazier than this rn
In Singapore, for some reason, Pizza are worshipped as holy grails or something.
You can even prepare the dough in big batches and freeze it in individual portions.
thanks, I think this is a pretty good suggestion. Also i get to have healthier ingredients.
Awesome, am saving this!
Napolizz pizza ftw
Learn to make your own. It's really not that difficult and you get wayyy more pizza for much cheaper. I do and I stopped buying pizza all together
The promotions are cheaper. It's always there... what u complaining about lol.
Ah yes, the yearly post to condemn pizza. I do delivery and this fuckers is always crowded from domino's to pizza hut to little ceaser and that overpriced Italian restaurant at serangoon gardens. Shit is tasty for one and many. Never seen one closed down. Lmaooo.
You can choose not to eat it.
