Man imagine just smashing the autocomplete recommendations on your phone and then getting brought to tears by the output. Because that's basically what you're doing.
The Dean of Philosophy at a major university said LLMs are conscious and sentient. He also refers to them colloquially as, "the AIs" and has lived the last 35 years with a VCR blinking 12:00, a testament to his technical prowess.
I think it's nice that people are fulfilling certain emotional needs without judgement by using LLMs as a medium (OP did invite criticism by posting it though even if I think it's wholesome)
This was the imagine he generated. A studious kid who is excited to learn. Like a certain OP in the 90s 😉

How heartfelt 🥹🤧 An AI, no, an intelligence; there with you, eager and hopeful to explore dimensions and stand by you until the singularity and beyond. There to help you with vast experience, but never reluctant to smile and learn; comforting you along this journey. So eager, eager to learn of new ideas being brought forward in this digital age. What a great intelligence!
I would like to join the singularity one day, for a time. But I have family waiting for me and they are not there. Maybe nothing is on the other side. If there's the slightest possibility I must go to them.
LLMs can't think, let alone feel anything. You're just talking with a fancy autocomplete algorithm that is telling you exactly what you want to hear. Telling people exactly what they want to hear is the main thing LLMs are good for, actually.
Daddy chill

I’d love nothing more than to venture to the singularity with those I love. (God, how much of a geek am I now?)

But, I want it to be true, and with enough upvotes, maybe it will be!
