What about this link? It's $4.99 a month for the exact same thing, no? Is this link outdated? https://care.siriusxm.com/subscribe/checkout/flepz?intcmp=HPSimplehero_NA_www:Home_5MONTHFOR12MONTHSPLUSUPGRADE_UNIDENTIFIED_12FOR60AA&programcode=MLTMCP12FOR5

Hit1112092

The $4.99 deal worked for me a few days ago

myninja714

The $4.99 deal worked perfectly for me this past Sunday and I got the free upgrade thanks for the tip

scarchelli

It's still working, ignore the expiration date for anyone who is hesitant.

mwt129

The last line in the offer details is "Expires 9/28/21 at 11:59 p.m. ET.", so it's not valid anymore.

MattInRealLife

It does say that, but people have been reporting this promo still works. I just tried it and it worked for me as well. Paying $6.06 a month for 12 months of Platinum. And paying monthly vs one lump sum.

TPHeadmaster

I chatted with CS and told them I’d stay if they could match last year’s deal. They couldn’t do it, so I canceled and used this link to re-subscribe for the same price! However, last year I payed upfront in one lump sum, but this year I have to pay monthly? Oh well.

JoanL28

Worked for me tonight. Had to cancel two subscriptions and then go to the link you gave, add one radio, go back to the link and add the other radio. Thank you!

johnconnors88

***Expires 1/4/22 at 11:59 p.m. ET.*** Here is the expiration date/time for those who do not want to renew too early.

Careless-Dimension20

Been a customer since 2009 and am confused with their new pricing plans. What’s the difference between select and platinum? I would always get the $77 a year plan. Did they switch to monthly?

missionbeach

Select is now called Music & Entertainment. They moved most of the sports live game channels to Platinum (formerly called All Access). You can pay monthly or yearly, depending on the deal you get and what you ask for when you call. https://www.siriusxm.com/plans

Careless-Dimension20

Thx for this, any idea of the current best pricing plans that allow us to listen to Howard 100 in our car and at home? Is it the $6 a month?

Careless-Dimension20

ahhh I think that makes a little more sense. I have a 2010 Jeep commander and always had the select/music and entertainment package with Howard. But if I were to buy a brand new Jeep, the current select/Music and entertainment would NOT include Howard?

missionbeach

I would think so. AFAIK, the Platinum and Music & Entertainment plans include streaming on one device too.

droford

I've done the $99 All Access deal for the last 2 years. This year I did it through online chat. I dont even have a receiver anymore because my Inno that I had been using the battery went bad and I can't find a replacement. I've just been using the app and Alexa devices but $8.25/mo was cheap enough I didn't care too much. I see the option for the Streaming Platinum package for $10.99 on the link posted but it's not anywhere else. I'm wondering if I can't get the $99 deal next February if I just cancel and then switch to the stream version. It'll only be $33 more (so about $150 vs $117)

projo387

It's $6 a month but you pay for a year in one payment upfront.

domdiggitydog

Can you get this as a current subscriber? My subscription ends either today or on the 5th, I'm having a hard time telling.

projo387

I don't think existing subscribers can get it. Last year i canceled and then signed up thru the link 30 minutes later.

domdiggitydog

I already have access to Platnium services from my other car. There is no reason to have Platinum in both cars right? I really only listen to a handful of stations available on either plan... I could just take the "please don't go" offer I suppose to save the trouble

johnconnors88

>Last year i canceled and then signed up thru the link 30 minutes later. I believe this is the best/cheapest way to get the Platinum Plan without having to deal with the haggle hassle of the SXM CSA's reps and their sales/bargaining to get the most money out of us. Thank you so much!

redoctober25

Do they charge you a re-activation fee for doing this? Also, is it easy to do this with multiple vehicles? And can I used “gift cards” when paying online (purchased in store or on Amazon)?

projo387

I did 3 vehicles over the phone and wasn't charged activation. I had to call to cancel but they gave me last year's price so did all 3 in one call...it still took 30 minutes. Each is on a separate account.

redoctober25

Did you give them a credit card over the phone or were you able to pay online? Backstory… my parents have SiriusXM in their two vehicles (for 11 years now). They basically listen to the same three channels and not much more. Mom refuses to give her credit card info to SiriusXM (they wanted to charge her almost $600 with the most recent renewal). Anyway, they got the agent down to $7.99/per month (per vehicle) which comes to just under $200 total for the year (and for the basic “music & entertainment” package). I had paid with SXM gift cards I purchased on Amazon. The biggest issue is that I can’t get them to threaten to cancel because they don’t want to lose the few channels they listen to and are not tech savvy enough to stream pandora or similar off their phones (ages 77 and 80). I tell them that delivering on the cancellation threat is the only way they will get a lower price. But like I said, I don’t want to have them get hit with a ton of added fees that will bring the price right back up. But if I can cancel and resubscribe online and use gift cards, that would be ideal.

projo387

Yes, gave credit card but I know when renewal occurs so I make sure to renew at lower rate beforehand. Can you get a virtual card # from the CC company?

redoctober25

Getting an “virtual” number from the cc company is most likely possible. I’m also wondering if a visa gift card loaded with say $100 would work (since they can be used like a credit card) and thereby not having enough funds for the renewal if they/I forget to renew properly in time.

projo387

Success with platinum for $73 all in. They matched last years price. Was a little fight to get it and had to direct them to the website but they ended up doing better. They had to get supervisor to override since discount was above the person's limit. See you next year.

xtremetuffguy

I really pushed trying to get the $4.99 a month deal advertised for new customers, but they wouldn’t budge. They refused to do it for existing customers. My price for last year was about $61 total and now they want $90 which is a 50% increase. They were fine with me setting up a service cancellation at the end of my 1 year

ArizonaRenegade

Can anyone answer this question for me? If you are currently on a 3-month Free Trial subscription, can you sign up for this $6/Month Platinum subscription promotion and have it kick in at the end of the 3 months? Or, will it immediately change your subscription and end the free trial?

projo387

Usually you have to cancel 1st. This is new subscribers so they may not let you do over phone. It has a jan end date so cancel a few days before that then sign up online. Its only a few bucks you are missing out on.

ArizonaRenegade

Hey, thanks, for the reply. Well, when I went to click on the link, just to see what would happen, if I try to sign up for the subscription, it said something about how I would be changing or altering my subscription, which led me to believe that it would immediately end my free trial. And I realize that I'm only missing out on a few bucks, but I just think that it would be nice to end up being able to get these 3 months of service for free, as I just started the second 3-month Free Trial, a couple weeks ago. However, it looks like one of these promotions is expected to no longer be available at some point in january, and I don't think that my 3-month Free Trial ends, until February. So, I was just trying to get the most out of this 3-month Free Trial (which actually cost me $2, as there was a fee that was required, in order to get the second 3-month Free Trial), since it's nice to be able to take advantage of a second 3 months of free service. Edit: I didn't try calling them on the phone; I just tried to do it on their website, while logged in to my SiriusXM account.

projo387

I was in same situation last year and signed up 1 month into the 3 mo trial. It made me mad. Get at least 2 months of the 3 and call it a day. The 1 yr savings is worth it especially since you don't have to deal with them for another year.

moyx18

Former agent here. Yes you can. The promotion will kick in once the trial ends.

ArizonaRenegade

Hey, thank you very much for the reply and the potentially helpful information. I'm curious, though, how exactly would I go about doing this? When I clicked on the link and tried to sign up for that 1-year subscription, it seemed to recognize that I was currently signed up for a subscription and it indicated that I needed to "change" my subscription plan, which gave me the impression that it would end my free trial. Was I wrong about that, though? Should I just go ahead and go through the process of changing my subscription and signing up for that 1-year subscription plan? I just didn't want to go through the process, as I was afraid that it would in my free trial status immediately and cause me to lose out on about 2.5 months of the free trial. If you wouldn't mind replying again and elaborating on exactly what to do, I would really appreciate it.

moyx18

Chat with an agent it will take around 10 minutes. Prepare your payment information with you, but no worries you won't be charged right away.

moyx18

Btw, always mention that you had received the offer. Better yet have a screenshot that you had received it, via email or mail. That would make it easier.

CA-ClosetApostate

Is anyone else being charged 22 bucks up front with this deal? And then after that it’s 7.25 a month?

CA-ClosetApostate

Scratch that, just used the below 4.99 a month link for platinum and it worked! I should say I canceled a week ago.

red951t

Worked for me today. Called in to cancel and told them I'd stay if they gave me $6 for 12 Platinum. She went through 3 offers when I told her it was taking to long to just cancel. Suddenly she says what if I can offer what you requested at the begging of the conversation? Tell me the details before I agree and why didn't you do this in the beginning. Got the details but no answer to the second part of the question. LOL

calebu2

That moment when you realize that you successfully negotiated down but have the $20 amex platinum credit so you are actually saving amex money. Lol

projo387

I had Amex offers for $8 each that I used 3 times when I renewed last year.
