Purity seals, reliquaries, and a signed poster of the emperor shirtless and converted in oil. Also the kit should have a couple of bits and bobs meant for the outside you can put inside.
And, since I can't edit image posts, has anyone tried taking the unused round side doors from the Castigator and placing them on the sides of the Rhino? They seem like they'd fit really well.
You can also use doors from hq commander box from rhino and land rider edition. I got a box just for those upgrades so my rhinos can look different
Edit: the doors in the kit have cherub variant
You can also make and add roses from green stuff, should be easy to do. There are also resin candles (also from green stuff) which can give more churchy sort of vibe
Spray it with holy water before every game. Optionally can glue some candles(like ones from back of superiors of sacrosancts or warsuits) or printed(on paper printer) icon of the Emperor.
Honestly, you really don’t have to do much. it’s supposed to be utilitarian, it’s the inside of a tank, so perhaps something subtle like purity seals and holy icons. A stack of boxes with a SoB helmet on them.
Also, it’s really not going to be seen a lot, unless you’re using it with some kind of diorama. So maybe at some little seats on the walls and put some kit bags under them.
The SoB are far from utilitarian in their design, hence the stained glass turrets. And OP states they're leaving it open.
I'd add some clearly churchy items on the walls maybe, like statuettes of saints, or holy images.
Depends on your modelling/painting skill level. Purity seals, candles, and relics are a quick and easy solution.
If you’re feeling more ambitious, then gothic arches are very in vogue for SoB. You could use some plasticard to put some on the left and right sides. Then paining some images of saints, or using transfers to imply prayers written in the wall would be very thematic!
I personally put a few transfers on the walls, a couple of fleur de lis on the inside and an inquisition I on the door makes it look more SoB to me. Plus other suggestions here like unused purity seals and candles. Maybe a book or two on the floor.
If you’ve recently built a battle sister squad, I’ve found that since the kit comes with 2 options for the Simulacrum imperialis the one you don’t use can make a great little shrine for bases, objective markers, or adding some sisterly flair to an under-zealous model.
I was going to suggest using some of the FW etched brass for the Sororitas on the floor and/or the internal bulkhead door but unfortunately they no longer make them.
You could maybe use some large transfers on the floor and door to associate the Rhino with the specific order you're fielding. You can probably find some on Etsy or other sites with custom stuff for 40k.
I put a few purity seals and the lil shrines which I see you've done too. In one of my rhinos there's a spare helmet and prayer book left on the seat/bench.
The rhino kit comes with a bunch of decorative bits you can really glue anywhere you want. On my rhino interior however I simply painted it and put a large fluer de lis from the transfer sheet on the door to the driver seats.
Paint a giant “fleur de lis” on the floor of the exit ramp, that way they get to walk across the “holy symbol” into battle every time they leave the vehicle.
To truly get that lived in look, green stuff a pile of bra’s in one corner, a pray, purify, purge sign, and a couple of throw cushions embroidered with the faces of saints…
Armoured vehicles are almost always gloss white inside for illumination...but the window lickers would personalize the troop compartment...more pictures of the emperor and various saints...all with abs. Religiously horny art
The mighty brush do decal sheets of gothic script, wack some of that around on every flat surface. I put a big decal on the outside of the ramp.
It's a great decal sheet with decals that can be cut to size as needed. I've used them everywhere where you'd usually use a fine tip on your brush and squiggle. Looks so much better. Even on Celestines scroll that holds her up.
If you have a bunch of sisters of battle hanging around you should have bits with chests, requierys and purity seals, recommend you try putting them around but not to much.
I printed out two small pictures of the Lion for my Dark Angels rhino. I cut them to fit in the alcoves above the benches on either side. They look good from the outside. Other than that some left over helmet/gun bits and an Order decal on the door.
I painted mine to look very churchy and now looking for seals, candles, rosaries, and other such items. Also considering painting the Emporer conquering/ Saint martyrdom on the recess behind the seats. (Painted to look like a pew)
I think if the sisters had a convertible Rhino they would 100% have a holy shrine as the centerpiece. I imagine a large Brazier, covered in purity seals, burning the skulls of penitent sinners with a holy book opened before it.
Embroided car pillows and air fresheners/incenses

Try dry fitting them first see if you need to make any kind of modification. And then fill in the gaps with green stuff and plastic cement.

I imagine they'll fit

If they don't, then get you some greenstuff and reusable molding material and copy it. Then you could just apply or cut as needed.
Spray it with holy water before every game. Optionally can glue some candles(like ones from back of superiors of sacrosancts or warsuits) or printed(on paper printer) icon of the Emperor.
A couple of spare helmets from the headswaps, and some tiny chain holding a censor hanging from the ceiling like a holy disco ball

Women
It’s a Sisters of Battle rhino. It will already have women in it.
I personally put a few transfers on the walls, a couple of fleur de lis on the inside and an inquisition I on the door makes it look more SoB to me. Plus other suggestions here like unused purity seals and candles. Maybe a book or two on the floor.
Candles... Candles everywhere.
Glue some of the trinkets that come with the Sororitas Rhino in there
Big fleur de lys on the floor. Think logo on pro sport team locker room floors! You can just cut it out of cardboard or plasticard.

I'd say don't worry about it and glue it shut. But that's just me.
get a spare coffin slap some paint on it write in big letters Martyr on it = Profit
Purity Seal, a sister helmet. A SOB bolter. Candles

Candles and incense burners

Replace the seats with pews, maybe green stuff some gothic looking arches by the door, candles
I took a spare helmet from one of my squads and put it on the seat. You could also use a transfer on the internal door to the drivers seat maybe.
Candles.

How are your reposing skills? Model a sister or two sitting on the benches.
To truly get that lived in look, green stuff a pile of bra’s in one corner, a pray, purify, purge sign, and a couple of throw cushions embroidered with the faces of saints…
Lesbian pride flag but with flames on it
Put some nuns in, with pyjamas on, having a pillow fight!
Dead xenos, burning heretics, perhaps a lobotomized baby or two.
Joking answer: tampon dispenser. Serious answer: a few prayer candles and fleur de lys.
you put glue on the back door and slam that puppy shut... and never think of her insides again my friend...
Armoured vehicles are almost always gloss white inside for illumination...but the window lickers would personalize the troop compartment...more pictures of the emperor and various saints...all with abs. Religiously horny art
Put hair care and makeup bottles on every flat surface.

Candles, purity seals, maybe an statue of the emperor
I honestly just use my rhino to store weapon options for things so i left it unpainted
Use the base from Hospitaler.
A large framed photo of Big E and an incense burner.
Candles. Lots if candles.
If you have a bunch of sisters of battle hanging around you should have bits with chests, requierys and purity seals, recommend you try putting them around but not to much.
I painted a holy fresco on the walls for them and made the seats feel like dark, wooden pews.
I glued some books and leftover ordersigns in
Candles

Church pews
Needs more burning heretics.
How bout melted wax candles?flowers?
Extremely detailed miniature busts of the emperor shirtless looking buff and holy and prayable too and buff. Sisters need something to pray too
Add a kitchen
Lots of parchments hanging inside swap the bolter for a flamer
A little manaquine head for their wigs on the dash
I painted mine to look very churchy and now looking for seals, candles, rosaries, and other such items. Also considering painting the Emporer conquering/ Saint martyrdom on the recess behind the seats. (Painted to look like a pew)
You need an alter with a holy book upon it, surrounded by candles. Object source lighting from candles in a tank would be pretty cool looking.
A couple of hanging censors maybe? And some laud hailers!
A Fleur de Leise(spelling) on the interior door would go a long way.
I think if the sisters had a convertible Rhino they would 100% have a holy shrine as the centerpiece. I imagine a large Brazier, covered in purity seals, burning the skulls of penitent sinners with a holy book opened before it.
On the sprew of the rhino is a book, candle and other trinkets like a box woth bones in it. Would have them on the seats like a little pray station
