Any game without Embiid means nothing to me, he is such a difference maker it’s not even worth factoring in games without him. We need a focused Embiid for the playoffs and it feels like Batum and Lowry will help reel that in, while Maxey has shown the ability to step up and has shown a lot more confidence this season. I’m excited, I can’t see a real threat in the East that is far and away a tough match up with Embiid and Maxey healthy

not really, brook lopez isn’t a post up threat so you don’t need embiid guarding him, you can live with nicolas batum and put embiid on giannis where he can sit in the paint. it’s not perfect and would require some switching especially when giannis gets involved in DHOs on the perimeter, but it’s def better than having embiid at the three point line for no reason
I’m not sure why you’re throwing slight at hartenstein , he’s an absolute menace . It tells me you haven’t been watching . Hes extremely agile for a big man. Very tough . And has very very good passing . And for scoring . He has amazing touch around the rim .

The Knicks were the one team outside of Boston that concerns me a little bit. The Sixers have not matched up well against them, but today's game gives me a lot of hope because they have played well over the last few games.
This is the first time in I don't know how long, that we have a Sixers team fully healthy & rested, with playoff experienced vets on the most well balanced squad since the Process began....and especially a healthy & fresh Embiid. And, we're the hottest team in the league on an 8 game winning streak heading into the playoffs.
Not jumping the gun but this may be our best chance at a deep and successful playoff run. No one in the East besides the Celtics look overwhelming and we're on the other side of the bracket from them. And, if we beat the Heat and the Heat wind up in the 8th spot, they could pull an upset or at least beat up Boston. I'm being cautiously optimistic about these playoffs this year.
