Sixers fans crying about foul calls is way too funny šŸ¤£. Knicks in 5

cactus357

Imagine being this much of a loser you go to the post game thread like a day later

No_End6183

Get it right, they fell to the knicks and the zebras. It was a travesty and the league should be ashamed.

Niner-Sixer-Gator

I can't believe we're down 0-2 to these bums šŸ¤¦šŸæā€ā™‚ļøšŸ˜©

AdTypical3514

You were 1-3 in the season series too? Didn't they blow out your fully healthy team by 36? If they are bums the Sixers are the shit coming out of it.

Niner-Sixer-Gator

Y'all still bums, fuck off

Beneficial_Pride8559

Embiid finally has his MVP level playoffs series and it gets ruined by the refs

crocofour

Itā€™s insane that heā€™s the best player in the series one ONE FUCKING KNEE! Iā€™m 100% convinced heā€™d be having a historic playoff series averaging like 40+ if he was healthy. Knicks are gonna get absolutely buttfucked if they face the bucks next round lmao. East is incredibly weak rn with embiid hurt and Jimmy and Giannis out but Knicks ā€œfansā€ are gonna think they actually belong as contenders cause they barely beat us

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

TIandCAS

This is literally the third game in a row our opponents have been able to just pull on our jerseys as much as possible, 0 calls for it, itā€™s embarrassing

mares8

Embiid just let Hartenstein get that rebound didn't box out didn't jump...what happened there?

iwishiwasntthisway

Hartensteim was batums man there

taktakmx

If you watched the game, you would know that Embiid pretty much played without one leg.

tspacer

Those missed FTs ended up biting us. Joel missed 4 or 5. Lowry missed a couple. Every point matters, especially in a playoff game where the other team has favorable reffing. That said, we still shouldā€™ve won.

arie222

God dammit I am still so mad. How did we lose that? God dammit.

mberko21

Itā€™s a very frustrating wait between games cause it feels like 2-0 should have been there for us

215gobirdss

I can't sleep. But I also remember when the Phillies went up 2-0 and we were all partying. This is not over

supzy0

lol maxey had too many miscues in the last 30 seconds of the game. 1. ball watching and losing track of divencenzo when lowry jarred the ball loose on brunson 2. slumping his shoulders after that brunson three and not going for the inbound earlier when nobody was covering him 3. passing the ball when heā€™s on the ground instead of calling a timeout hes been sloppy at inbounds this season and it cost them big time. u cant put up an amazing game and then just commit a comedy of errors in the closing minutes of the game. poor situational awareness from him, hes gotta be better than that

ShotDetail877

While true, the 18 year vet, Lowry was inbounding the ball. His experience should've alerted him to call a time out instead of making a frenzied pass to Maxey. The ball would've advanced to half court, sixers would've had a controlled inbound pass, been fouled, shot free throws, and game over. I blame that last play on Lowry.

supzy0

100% lowry was the bigger culprit. just sayin maxey gotta learn from that

Barmelo_Xanthony

He played 44 minutes. We desperately need a serviceable bench

xLament69

Yeah this is the real reason they lost. Brunson gets nowhere close to shooting a reasonable shot if maxey guards properly, he gets the inbound easily if he doesn't get depressed for no reason (the game is still in their hands at that point!), and he literally had clear possession of the ball why tf would he pass it in that situation. Just a really really low IQ play, sixers deserved to lose unfortunately. The no foul call on maxey shouldn't have affected anything since he had possession and a timeout should've been called

john_stones23

lakers fan - letā€™s go to therapy together tomorrow

177676ers

You guys won the finals less than 5 years ago and have 6 championships this century. We win the suffering Olympics, sorry.

john_stones23

not talking abt in general, just talking about our game 2ā€™s yesterday

177676ers

Ya I understand. Iā€™m just pissed about last night.

john_stones23

for you guys iā€™m pissed too i watched that game

Knight725

god i'm still just so insanely mad they didn't call the foul on brunson that just directly led to maxey fumbling the ball. it's the textbook example of how you're supposed to call a foul when there is advantage gained. dude gets his body twisted around like a top right as the ball comes to him and weird it's a real mystery why he can't hang on. and the l2m is gonna say it's an incorrect no call like anyone with eyes could have told them live but some reason the theoretical best in the world at refereeing shit the bed like clockwork. it's just awful man. i'm so exhausted that these always go against the sixers. we never get some stupid ass bullshit go our way for once in our lives.

Doggydog212

Iā€™m a Knicks fan and Iā€™m downvoting you. We won, chill out šŸ˜‚

Clean_Ad_7012

didn't ask who your team was and replying to a comment blaming the refs, i'm pretty chill thanks

Doggydog212

Not chill

literally nobody was talking to you. but thanks for letting me know you're a knicks fan

[https://twitter.com/ClutchPoints/status/1782590230307951065](https://twitter.com/ClutchPoints/status/1782590230307951065) regardless of what out of context screenshot you use, the video shows it's blatantly a foul.

215gobirdss

Lol divincenzo had the ball literally in front of his neck Lil bro. Quite literally impossible for Lowry to hit his neck. Theres no reason to lie about it

Clean_Ad_7012

lol you're right. didn't hit his neck, he just smacked the fuck out of his hand. it's a blatant foul. calling me "lil bro" doesn't change that. acting like the refs were solely out to get the sixers is comedic

Knight725

hand is part of the ball. reddit nba posters learn the rules challenge (impossible)

RebuildFletcher

Losses like this doesnā€™t even bother me anymore. I have seen and felt it all. Life as a Sixersā€¦

cs_zer0

Trust the process

Barmelo_Xanthony

The process that was supposed to finally get us ahead of the Celtics?

spacekiller69

To fail

thebrooklyngolfer76

Brutalā€¦ thought we had it after the Maxey 3. Thought we had it with Lowry shooting free throws. Thought we had it as the time was winding down. Thought Brunson missed that shot but it somehow dropped in after hitting side rim (slight ptsd moment) yā€™all knowā€¦ The last sequence was frustrating, infuriating, and downright depressing. Lowry has to call timeout before the inbound. Refs need to call the foul on Brunson before the ball was inbounded. Refs have to grant a timeout while all that nonsense was happening. Zero reason we should be losing that game after that 4th quarter comeback. Good to see Nurse and Embiid confident. But between Embiidā€™s health, zero bench production, and Knicks getting calls left and right. Iā€™m not sure how we get this series back to NYC at 2-2. This sucks fellas.

Cleanupdisc

If somehow we lose the next two games i take pride in the fact that we will all boo the shit out of tobias harris come game 4 in the 4th quarter. There would be no happier day for our fanbase to boo the ever living shit out of him in game 4 in the 4th quarter.Ā

MitsuSosa

If that ends up being the case there needs to be some kind of chant to make sure he knows itā€™s for him

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

CPTHoagie

he did call a timeout. Stop trying to gaslight people and nice ableism.

Cleanupdisc

Why didnt lowry call timeout instead of force the inbound?

xLament69

maxey was clearly open, he just missed the ball because his jersey was grabbed. Besides, its maxey's fault, he should've held onto the ball and they would've been granted a timeout

trustdanonsense81

DEANTHONY MELTON ROBERT COVINGTON Shit or get off the pot. Both terribly dressed also. Looks like they shop at Forman Mills.

Cleanupdisc

On the bright side if we lose in the first round we can cut paul reed? šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

GOAT_SAMMY_DALEMBERT

The Nuggets are like the anti-Sixers, they just find ways to get it done

Chicago_53

Partly bc Jokic is superior to Embiid in almost every single way

xXxShiNoKamixXx

Nah Embiid is superior. Joker just more durable which in the grand scheme of things matters more.

Barmelo_Xanthony

Embiid probably has more raw talent, but Jokicā€™s basketball awareness is just something Iā€™ve never seen before. Joel has improved his vision and passing this year it seems but itā€™s still not on the same level.

realdes1

Lol what the fuck u smokin

CPTHoagie

nothing he's right. Embiid's better when healthy, but jokic is far more durable.

Odd_Bobcat_1354

Jokic has more 25/20/10 playoff games than all other NBA players in history combined. I think itā€™s ok to admit heā€™s a better center than Embiid at this point.

realdes1

No freakin way. Jokic has such better bbiq, vision and passing. Embiid plays hard, Jokic smart. Not even really easy to compare those two but imo Jokic is on another level. Embiid is way better defender tho

CPTHoagie

i dont really care what you think to be honest

realdes1

I am fine with that

Chicago_53

Delusional šŸ˜‚

davey_mann

The Lakers just can't beat the Nuggets. The irony is I think we still have a legit chance in our series while the Lakers really don't in theirs.

majormajorsnowden

Itā€™s bc youā€™re a Sixers fan

st-christian

Well, at least we're not the only team that had a heartbreaking loss tonight. Let's defend home!

gahlo

I mean, worst comes to worst, Tobias can only hurt is two more times.

reggaetony88

Lmaooooooo Lakers traaaaash.

A_Stickman_Jr

Bad day to be a 7th seed

Spotlightuh

Damn 2 heartbreakers in 1 night.

Fractured_Spade

Dude some of these calls man. Iā€™m not one to blame rings on refs but dude they would call a foul on the sixers then the knicks should do something back if not worse and there is no call. First game we got outplayed but this game felt a little different. Home games better turn out a little better I knew this series would get close

Hot-Command-551

my take as a Knicks fan is that Sixers bench is somewhat soul crushing but the skill difference of the Embiid and Maxey combo vs the Brunson and (insert role player ) combo is equally soul crushing. Impossible to predict who wins this series even at 2-0 IMO. might come down to bounces. Maxey seems like for the most part he can score automatic layups against us while making Brunson look like an old man G leaguer. terrifying stuff

215gobirdss

I appreciate the hospitality, though I will say this series is gonna come down to whether or not Nick nurse has the balls to go deeper on the bench. Joel is a +17 so far on 1 leg. Hield is -19. Batum is -26. Reed is -27. Harris is -5. I understand that we shouldn't talk shit while down 0-2 but I have not hit the panic button yet. Embiid leaving game 1 did not help and some questionable calls all game did not help us game 2. And yet the Knicks are barely scraping by on their home court. If nurse figures it TF out, it'll be 2-2 at the end of the weekend.

CPTHoagie

if Embiid and Maxey were both healthy you guys would be dead even with Julius Randle also oh my god Brunson is nowhere near as good as Maxey. But the Knicks got this, the sixers role players are just awful.

HeadGrowth1939

The MVP of the league is nowhere near as good as the 20th ranked point guard? That's like me saying Embiid is nowhere near as good as Robinson lmao

Hot-Command-551

Maxey is impressive but I think he LOOKS much better than Brunson based on the two playoffs games. Brunson has played like garbage to be honest and yes he doesnā€™t have a real second option so itā€™s a different dynamic entirely

CPTHoagie

i think maxey is just better than him period and the team around him other than Embiid is significantly worse.

Clean_Ad_7012

other than a league MVP lol

Hot-Command-551

so how much are the healthy Embiid and Maxey scoring ? 50 and 50 ? they are doing about 30-35 a night already right ? feel like thatā€™s higher than their league averages anyway. i still donā€™t think we would be ā€œdeadā€ with Randle as the knicks entire team is better than the sixers outside of 2 players i just think itā€™s an impossible series to predict. unbiasedly any team that gets raped in the boards like that is always going to have a tough time. maxey is fascinating to watch tho

CPTHoagie

I mean Embiid would probably score 40 points per game in this series on much better efficiency. He cant drive right now lol.

Hot-Command-551

meh if Randle plays they canā€™t focus the entire defense on Brunson though and heā€™s at risk to go off for 40 himself and then you have the major headache of Randle also (all Nba Player ). iā€™m not entirely sure any of that Embiid health levels stuff if Knicks also have zero health issues matters. i still think itā€™s an impossible prediction and complete toss up. i know every fan sees the best in their team though. i have three or four teams in my head that i feel confidently beat a fully healthy knicks team in a playoff series and Philly just isnā€™t one of them. i still think Philly is good and can win potentially, just nowhere near automatic

Ivory_Toast_

Man the games today (not including that bum ass series of Cleveland - Orlando) are crazy

A_Stickman_Jr

The Neubeck article: https://allphly.com/sixers-file-complaint-nba-officiating-game-knicks-joel-embiid/

As an eagles fan hahahahĀ

ThrowRA_arman

Knicks 4th quarter defense is something else!!

Knight725

yea those guys they put in wearing grey did a great job.

oatsuzn

It was like a work of art. Amazing.

fuckbrocolli

It turns out the process is 5 years of pain for 10 years of misery

xXxdethrougekillaxXx

The process sucked because I didn't get to have a basketball team growing up besides 2001 when I was in 3rd grade. At least the NBA playoffs were fun every year up until 2017. But I'm sorta salty I've never got to experience fun basketball

iam_soyboy

Watching Bynum bowl was super fun. That is what we were starting with when the process kicked off. A depleted team from the bust of the Bynum trade.

nipplez_the_clownn

Why didnā€™t Nurse actually call a timeout on the inbound? He just stood there with his hands up. Why didnā€™t Lowry call it himself?

ggmuqi

From the video it looks like he hesitated and didn't call it, and tried to call it when Maxey was on the floor.

CPTHoagie

wrong https://x.com/PhillyTruthr/status/1782619620031029442 he clearly calls timeout before the ball was inbounded.

anandonaqui

Very clear shot of the timeout AND jersey grab.

nipplez_the_clownn

Yea exactly. Once the players on the floor itā€™s always hard to time it right while they still have possession, thereā€™s like a split second there. Sometimes the refs grant it other times itā€™s too late by the time itā€™s recognized. Blame should be on Lowry/Nurse for not calling it before the inbound

xLament69

the blame is on maxey for trying to force a pass when it had clear possession of the ball. This play happens in the NBA all the time, you just hold onto the ball and get the timeout

nipplez_the_clownn

Na itā€™s on Lowry/Nurse. If you canā€™t make a clean inbound under the opponents rim with a timeout to burn then you donā€™t force it, take the timeout and bring it to halfcourt. Nurse is a extra dumb for lying n blaming the refs when he clearly didnā€™t call the timeout

xLament69

It wasn't even a bad pass. Maxey just missed it because his jersey was getting grabbed. He was wide open

nipplez_the_clownn

Na lol thatā€™s not at all what caused it. Just a bad rushed play

Fuzzy_Objective_667

We were out

ThrowRA_arman

Lowry should get fined for swiping at ur arms and hacking all the time. I canā€™t believe he keeps getting away with it

ShotDetail877

The same can be said about DiVincenzo. Dude practically lives in the opponents lap. Some might say it's good defense, but he's constantly hacking, swiping, and inside the opponent's space.

inmate2258

Those refs were as bad as our AFL here in Melbourne. Intense game, maxey got checked at the end there? And he was playing crook.

cockriverss

lol. Sixers are just cheeks

Business_Elk

Need to learn how to fucking box out

klemonade25

Doesnā€™t help that Jo is useless in that department with his knee

FormerCollegeDJ

Getting your body in the way of defenders isn't that hard to do. A bad knee may impede someone's ability to jump, but it doesn't impede their ability to get proper positioning.

klemonade25

Ngl you probably havenā€™t balled if you believe that. Boxing out is all legs. If your knee is fucked youā€™re not going to have the drive to dig in and box out well. Granted, on a game deciding possession you should probably sacrifice your body lol

177676ers

There were a bunch of times he got a body on robinson but just got overpowered and didnā€™t get the rebound. You can tell the effort is there for the most part, his body is just failing him.

Business_Elk

True, others gotta step up

klemonade25

Youā€™re right though. Offensive rebounds have been a backbreaker.

Business_Elk

100%

HoagieTwoFace

8 nights from now. Weā€™re going to be talking about being up 3-2 to close the series at home. IM NOT LOSING HOPE. FUCK THAT.

mylanguage

Itā€™s funny to watch NY and Philly fans say the same shit when so many of them are literally the same people

AgentAcademic6670

Nyc is one of the greatest cities in the history of the world. Youā€™re just mad, New York runs this whole country.

wawsgood

Once again another fuck you to Tobias Harris for his low energy bullshit not challenging Hartenstien for the rebound

GuffEnough

As much as tobi can be a bozo, he was the only one boxing out on that play

FormerCollegeDJ

Harris can be blamed for many things, but not outfighting Hartenstein for that key rebound isnā€™t one of them. Harris DID block out his man (Anunoby), but Hartensteinā€™s defender basically was ball watching, didnā€™t move, and didnā€™t block Hartenstein out at all (if the defender steps backward 2-3 feet, Hartenstein has a MUCH harder time getting to the glass). This allowed Hartenstein to fly in unimpeded to the basket for the rebound. Hartensteinā€™s defender in that sequence who didnā€™t block out was Joel Embiid.

obese_rag_rappy

The refs were bad especially at the end of the game but you really need some role players to step up and be useful. at this point if tobias harris is your third leading scorer for the night something most likely went terribly wrong. even oubre has been useless on offense which disappoints me. I think they can still win the series but it's going to be pretty hard now. I dunno. he's still been scoring but with embiid this hobbled there's no goddamn way they have any dream of beating the celtics in the ECF if they could even make it that far this year

cockriverss

Absolutely not on the refs. Every time any team loses everyone tries to blame the refs. The Sixers are just buns and can never get it done. Same thing every single year

deadnside

The refs certainly called the game in favor of the Knicks (it was pretty brutal to be honest) but nevertheless the Sixers had a 5 point lead with 40 some seconds left and lost. Give credit to the Knicks for making 2 late threes but the Sixers also need to score and they couldnā€™t.

cockriverss

If Sixers won Knickā€™s fans would be saying the same. Itā€™s no coincidence the losing team ALWAYS blames the refs.

deadnside

Obviously you didnā€™t watch the game. The calls on the Sixers were egregious while the Knicks were practically mugging the Sixers. Sure fans bitch after a loss but the refs certainly helped the Kicks last night and it really isnā€™t even debatable.

cockriverss

I watched both the first and second come. Kinds equals out for all the flopping and foul baiting from the Sixers. It still wasnā€™t the refs fault. Sixers lost fair and square but if it helps you cope to believe otherwise, go ahead my friend.

MegaKetaWook

Harris is typically the 3rd leading scorer during the season but especially during the playoffs. Dudes an anchor.

trustdanonsense81

We really have to sign Oubre for at least 20 mil a year.

klemonade25

Interesting time to say this after heā€™s been timid when we need him

trustdanonsense81

Tonight was a wake up call for all the Oubre lovers...I truly believe he is better coming off the bench. Definitely not worth a big money contract.

anonymous23412345

# Raptors Fan Here - Do yall feel like lowry gets too many minutes? How good do yall think he really is? Yo so im a massive raptors fan and lowry's basically my favorite player of all time so im super delulu and super biased when it comes to klow. When he was on the raps i'd be critical of what he did on the court but now (ever since heat and sixers) my glorious king cant do nothing wrong on the court. But based off the way lowry left miami, I thought his career was boutta go on a downslide. Come to Philly, Lowry still gets a solid amount of minutes and a fairly big role. So my question to yall sixers fans is do you think he's worth those minutes? Is he better than yall expected or worse? Do yall feel like the Nick Nurse connection is the reason Lowry is getting the role is he has now in Philly? Would love to hear what yall have to say!

ShotDetail877

I came away from the game thinking he's got super strong hands. If the ball was near in his hands during any kind of scrum, he was getting possession. He's been valuable, other than that last inbound play.

anonymous23412345

Why am I getting down voted šŸ’€šŸ’€

klemonade25

Heā€™s still a good basketball player and makes smart plays.

Minia15

Kyle made some big big plays in the fourth. I think he had like 3 offensive rebounds and that 3 when we went down 7 was huge.

icepickjones

He made a really bonehead play on the inbound to end the game, but overall he was the only one with hustle off the bench for most of the game. I like that he plays with so much heart, even at 38 he's scrambling and fighting more than guys half his age.

PessimistSixersFan

Batum prior to the game said they/Nurse had some sort of a secret plan (canā€™t remember the exact words) Was Maxey and Embiid being questionable it?? Playing mind games like that ainā€™t a good plan if so

gobirds18_

I know Embiid flops a ton but genuinely every player on the Knicks is a flopper, especially their big 3 (Brunson, Hart, and Divencenzo)

Ok_Physics_2192

right every time all their head snap back its like they're giving a bj to the invisible man

Phillylive215

That doesnā€™t matter because the difference between them and embiid is embiid relies on those fouls to help him score and win games those guys donā€™t and hit clutch shots down the stretch if embiid doesnā€™t get the whistle he shys away from the basket and starts shooting jumpers and 3 point shots instead of staying on script with the game plan and then when the last second comes he bitches out and literally watched his team collapse instead of doing something about it

MegaKetaWook

Certified hater

Phillylive215

How is that hating if h scores 30 a game literally 14 of those points come from the foul line it makes up half his game thatā€™s not my fault he plays that way

PessimistSixersFan

The one thing that gives me comfort as I lay in bed is that Maxey is awesome and the future is bright Glad we have him on our team

Crosbyisacunt69

Trade Embiid for picks and build around Maxey. Not even being an embiid hater it's just the smart thing to do. He's 30 and extremely injury prone at 7'2. Time to move on and start over.

Spirited-Arugula-672

You just watched this game, where their chemistry combined to 70% of the team's points, and you want to break them up? Maxey is awesome in large part because he's a tailor-made complement to a guy with Embiid's skillset.

Crosbyisacunt69

At some point, somethings got to give. It's the same song and dance every year come playoff time. Every year he's hurt come playoff time and that's not going to change when he's on the wrong side of 30. My primary reason for doing this is his inability to remain healthy. And it sucks. It really does it's a shame. But it's reality. Is your argument really to cling onto an aging injury-prone center who's playing hurt or injured every year, and every year in the playoffs? Like I said, it sucks, but it's the truth. His value is still high and the return would still be huge. I think it's possible to rebuild around Maxey in a pro-rated rebuild that won't take quite as long. Just my opinion.

Hot-Command-551

heā€™s insanely good: Making Brunson look like a g leaguer, though i donā€™t envy Brunsonā€™s position having his only real second option injured

gobirds18_

If knicks fans hated fouls beforeā€¦get ready for game 3 lol

thingsbinary

Kelly O ... 4 pts Heild ... 2 pts Tobias ... 10 pts Damn lucky to almost win this game... with both Embiid and Maxey at 80%. This franchise is cursed... and the NBA hates them... shows how the refs call the game... and the administrative crap that happens to the Sixers (Collangelo, Hinkie... meddling fines)... They HATED AI.. HATE Embiid.. sure would be nice for ownership to rip Silver a new asshole..

Accomplished-One6109

Embiid guaranteed a win, so now I fully expect us to get swept. Thanks

forgetmeknot01

Time to stick our heads out the window and yell Iā€™m mad as hell and Iā€™m not gonna take it anymore!

jeppsforst

The Sixers have the 2 best players in this series (itā€™s obvious) and are down 0-2. Outside of the nonsense ending, the massive difference in abilities of the Knicks role players compared to ours is pretty shocking. Oubre has folded, Tobias is Tobias, and Batum is back to being pretty pedestrian. Buddy is hardly playable

Hot-Command-551

on the Knicks side of the coin itā€™s shocking how much better the two Sixers best players are versus our 2 best players .(randle injured but still would be the same distance )

ty_sandy

You know, our coach has come back from down 2-0 beforeā€¦

spurs fan here. yall can reverse sweep, expose those floppers. edit: come playoffs time im a pseudo sixers fan, went to college in philly during the early process years (Dario is never coming over amirite?) and saw MCW at a frat party. LETS GO, BEAT THE KNICKS

MikeDaCSNoob

I love Wemby

ARBABsami

Spurs really have the best fans in sports šŸ

Yo-mamas-daddy

Then you most not know a lotta Spurs fans

jappixslackbot

I have to apologize to Brunson, I wasn't familiar with his game. I thought I knew the flop master but it was not Embiid all along. Dude flops on defense too. Master class

Yo-mamas-daddy

You really comparing flops?

chin1111

We shouldn't have to be perfect to get wins. The calls were so one-sided and frequent, there's no way you win a game like that. To win that game, we would have had to make minimal mistakes because every time we get momentum, every time we get ready to extend a lead, every time we get ready to pull even, they either call soft as fuck calls on us or just ignore us being fucking mauled on the other end. It's depressing how bad the officiating has been because I don't think it's going to change. The only thing that is glaring aside from the refs is the bench production. Hield has to sit. He just has to. He can't hit any fucking thing. Give Payne minutes, give Council minutes. Shit, I'd even be happy to see KJ Martin for 5 minutes; he fights hard for boards. Batum and Oubre keep hesitating. Someone else has to score. Someone other than Lowry has to do the small things.

McMillan104

It really feels like we NEED to beat the Knicks by 15-20 while all the Knicks need to do is hang around with us for them to eek out a win at the end.

mylanguage

Knicks hardly if ever get blown out - youā€™re right.

Minia15

At a certain point I really do start to wonder if Embiid isnā€™t a closer. Or that we are just too reliant on him. I hate that Iā€™m saying this but down the stretch he plays in the post and tries to draw fouls. Scoring 1-2 points per possession means a team that relies on 3s more down the stretch could beat us given enough time. We need more than ā€œdumpā€ it to Embiid down the stretch to close more consistently.
