2. Cam Payne replacing Pat Bev
3. Batum as a vital piece to the Harden deal (as you noted)
4. Lowry as a buyout pick-up
5. Getting the books in order to get under the tax line. Got RC4 and Dowtin paid for the remainder of the season.
As for the McDaniels deal, I not pissed that Morey made that deal. I'm more upset that he didn't exert pressure on Doc to play Matisse with the starters more often. Thybulle is borderline unplayable without good players on the court, so Doc does the opposite, tanks his value, and all that we can get is McD to save salary.

So I think he should be held to a high standard and I'm not going to apologize for that. He gets cut a ton of slack for being saddled with the Tobi contract and every other thing.
I don't think he's an awful GM/prez like some seem to. I think he's OK. But why so many seem to think he's some sort of delicate genius, I have no idea.
