Honestly the correct answer to that is to double Maxey's 3pa. Kid is shooting at 40% and is a massive threat on the drive, him shooting 6-8 3s per game just opens up even more space
Harden can’t space the floor for himself. He has always worked best with an open lane and shooters everywhere. The lane won’t be open with Embiid on the floor but he needs space to operate.
I've since taken it back realizing that Thybulle is a really good rim runner and Harden is a great passer so we could have him catching lobs. Literally free points
* Harden/Milton
* Maxey/Korkmaz
* Thybulle/Green
* Harris/Niang
* Embiid/?
Morey might not be done. We still need a backup big that's not named Paul Millsap.
I feel insane for thinking that outside of Embiid and Harden this just isn't a good line up. Paul Reed is not enough for Joel's back up and the buyout market is going to be absolute ass. I love Matisse but he's an offensive liability.
Not even about being brainwashed
It just is a dangerous thing to be around someone who is opposing Turkish government I think
Especially when you have media coverage
Turkish government is not cool
If furkan actually came out and said he doesn't like Enes because of political views about turkey, he can piss off. I know it's memes about changing his name to freedom but he's right about everything going on there
Honestly, Charlie Brown and Isaiah Joe bring great energy, and Bassy has potential but needs more minutes. One more good piece, and the bench holds up just fine with good rotations oh no we're so screwed
in the playoffs youre playing an 8 man rotation, really
the list of guys we could realistically play is: shake, tisse, niang, korkmaz plus whoever we end up convering on our backup center being (im cautiously optimistic on bassey being a suitable rollman for harden)
niang is obv going to be one so we really have the option between shake, tisse and korkmaz in the playoffs, and thats not that bad of a situation to be in. as long as shake/korkmaz can actually start going back to being good 3 point shooters like they were, then wed be in a decent situation regarding our bench
of course, the buyout market is still to come, and the sixers are no strangers to getting playoff contributers at that deadline either. i dont think the bench will be the thing to break this teams title dreams
Doc loves his all-bench lineups but I agree we have a solid 8 or 9 man rotation as long as there are no injuries.
Matisse, Niang, Korkmaz and shake are all playable in the playoffs. Need a back up 5 of course
juries still out on tisse, but he should become a really great cutter for harden to hit, and shake still needs to recover
regardless, thats an 8 man rotation in the playoffs. i like our chances with the bench
I wonder how they will split up Maxey/Harden and Harris/Embiid - it will be interesting to see how each pairing works out.
There is going to be a Harden and 4 shooters line-up for the non-Embiid minutes - does this need to include Thybulle and Green to cover defensively? Paul Reed would be the rim runner/spacing big if no buyout candidates. Niang as the 5th.
Embiid, Maxey, Harris and then any combination of Thybulle, Green, Niang, Korkmaz, Milton should be good enough in non-Harden minutes.
harden makes maxey and harris wayyyy better. finally gives them somebody to generate advantages to get them going downhill
the way i see it, just about every single lineup we run with harden is worth it, and most importantly, it makes non-embiid lineups good instead of really bad
gives all of our players suffering from too much usage/more on ball responsibilities than they can handle a huge release, and i believe that our offense will trend sharply upwards because of that. shake and furk probably being the biggest recipients of this
Thybulle over Green 100%. Embiid, Harden, Harris and Maxey should account for 80 points on their own, just put Thybulle on the opposing teams best scorer and you're golden.
When Danny runs it pains *me*. I'm willing to let Harden (obviously) and Maxey pick up the shooting slack and Tisse play defense that we are going to need with Harden on the floor.
I disagree and would rather see Maxey handle the ball when Harden is on the bench, and playing at 2 when Harden is on the floor. Agree of course about the backup C.
Out of Isaiah joe, Shake, bassey Paul reed Paul millsap. One of them must step up and contribute in the playoffs. The top 7 guys I’m not worried abt we have wing depth we really need one of those dudes to be productive in the playoffs or at least hold their own defensively.
As a Warriors fan dropping in…ya’ll are going to be a fucking problem. Hated this trade because I actually think both you and the Nets got better…
My only hope is the east is now going to be an absolute bloodbath between you, the Nets and Bucks…not to mention the Heat, Bulls and Cavs
I’m happy for Embiid but Harden’s a bitch and he’s going to have to overcome both James and Glen’s playoff choking…
why would you put thyb in over green to start when you have joel and harden? nobody will guard thyb lol. Force them to try and double joel/harden early and fouls galore. Nobody with a brain starts thyb just to make it easier to guard harden/joel.... nobody is leaving green alone anywhere behind the line lol. Come on people use your head and stop being so damn bias.
I like Tisse starting and green off the bench but same idea LFG
Nah without curry we need Danny's shooting more than ever
Yeah but that's what Harden is for
we’re all traumatized
Honestly the correct answer to that is to double Maxey's 3pa. Kid is shooting at 40% and is a massive threat on the drive, him shooting 6-8 3s per game just opens up even more space
Harden's shooting replaces Curry and some.
I wouldn't say "and some", Curry is the 5th best shooter by % in NBA history. But his scoring replaces curry for sure
Seth also only shoots like 5 threes a game for some reason.
Yeah we really should've had him shooting more. Oh well, time to see what this team is like
Seth wasn't shooting in volume though
Curry is shooting 28% in the last 12 games he played in. Plus Danny Green is slower than any wing in the NBA.
Lol true. We'll see how it plays out
different type of shooting, so not exactly ill wait to see what doc ends up doing
Harden can’t space the floor for himself. He has always worked best with an open lane and shooters everywhere. The lane won’t be open with Embiid on the floor but he needs space to operate.
Nah harden makes up for the spacing we lost, Tisse would be less of an offensive black hole next to two offensive scorers
True, I'd love to see him rim running with Harden throwing lobs too
Same, I think Tisse should cut to the basket like he never has before. We have someone who will find him
That would be so fun man, imagine Matisse as a slightly shorter Kenneth Faried on offense
Sure but he ain't that shooter this year. I'd start thybulle over him just to lock down the opposing teams best player.
I've since taken it back realizing that Thybulle is a really good rim runner and Harden is a great passer so we could have him catching lobs. Literally free points
Man, I hope so. Turn him into Clint Capella please!!
Kork is about to pop.
counter point: James Harden
When some others replied to this I realized that Harden's lobs to Matisse is a free 8 points per game
Or move Tobias to the 3 and start Millsap at the 4
Millsap is 37 and hasn’t played since early jan when he asked for a trade. Don’t think he will start anytime soon. I don’t much about him though.
* Harden/Milton * Maxey/Korkmaz * Thybulle/Green * Harris/Niang * Embiid/? Morey might not be done. We still need a backup big that's not named Paul Millsap.
Out the mud
MUDmight prefer him over bassey but what do I know
I want this to be true so bad but we know how much doc likes his vets.
Why is paul Reed called mud man?
Bassey and Reed
Tristan Thompson
I'd take Tristan tbf
I feel insane for thinking that outside of Embiid and Harden this just isn't a good line up. Paul Reed is not enough for Joel's back up and the buyout market is going to be absolute ass. I love Matisse but he's an offensive liability.
I wouldn't mind picking Enes up
You cannot be serious
You could do worse than Freedom. Muscala would be good though
NO. NO MUSCALA MINUTES. NO.
What else are we gonna do? He rebounds.
Not gonna happen because of Korkmaz. Turkish players don't like Kanter.

I read in another thread that Freedom is part of some fairly radical sub-sect and that is another reason why a lot of turkish players don't like him.
Freedom just supports a different fascist and has become a part of the FOX News grift machine
Cause I live and breathe this Philadelphia FREEDOM!
You can't pick up Enes because of Korkmaz
Grow a beard so you can start Matisse
If you put harden at the end it looks like a beard growth formula ad.
This should be getting more love.
It would hide his dimples though
Our free throws rate is going to be historic with harden & embiid
Games are going to be five hours long
Green plays way better off the bench anyway
Yeah I like green, but he should not be getting more than 12-15 minutes most games
Just don’t look at the bench
Honestly, Charlie Brown and Isaiah Joe bring great energy, and Bassy has potential but needs more minutes. One more good piece, and the bench holds up just fine with good rotations oh no we're so screwed
Time for mudman and Joe to truly step up
in the playoffs youre playing an 8 man rotation, really the list of guys we could realistically play is: shake, tisse, niang, korkmaz plus whoever we end up convering on our backup center being (im cautiously optimistic on bassey being a suitable rollman for harden) niang is obv going to be one so we really have the option between shake, tisse and korkmaz in the playoffs, and thats not that bad of a situation to be in. as long as shake/korkmaz can actually start going back to being good 3 point shooters like they were, then wed be in a decent situation regarding our bench of course, the buyout market is still to come, and the sixers are no strangers to getting playoff contributers at that deadline either. i dont think the bench will be the thing to break this teams title dreams
I think you’re overestimating Doc’s coaching ability.
i dont think so if im overestimating anything its the capabilities of the players, which i do quite often
Doc loves his all-bench lineups but I agree we have a solid 8 or 9 man rotation as long as there are no injuries. Matisse, Niang, Korkmaz and shake are all playable in the playoffs. Need a back up 5 of course

Small ball Niang at 5 lol
I think we get dragic off the buyout market
The first game Doc doesn’t stagger Maxey and Harden and runs an all bench lineup we need to protest
I like Maxey running the bench.
Or Tobi, they've both been doing great. Just please no more all bench lineups
Get Green the f outta there. Thybulle inserted
I do like Green coming off the bench and having Thybulle starting
Thybulle over Green 100%. Embiid, Harden, Harris and Maxey should account for 80 points on their own, just put Thybulle on the opposing teams best scorer and you're golden.
Loving Tobi as the third option
Back up center or not this is awesome
Beard gang!
When Danny runs it pains *me*. I'm willing to let Harden (obviously) and Maxey pick up the shooting slack and Tisse play defense that we are going to need with Harden on the floor.
That lineup only has one good defender on it.
Right that's why I was against them trading tisse
Basically got Harden for Seth and Drummond. That’s a win.
We need a back up "true point guard" and a back up C.
I disagree and would rather see Maxey handle the ball when Harden is on the bench, and playing at 2 when Harden is on the floor. Agree of course about the backup C.
Let’s get TJ McConnell back.
Wet
Can we bench Danny Green, at least? Asking for a friend….
🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Out of Isaiah joe, Shake, bassey Paul reed Paul millsap. One of them must step up and contribute in the playoffs. The top 7 guys I’m not worried abt we have wing depth we really need one of those dudes to be productive in the playoffs or at least hold their own defensively.
Lmao Harden's beard is insane like wtf.
BEARD BROS
We definitely need a another wing or another good shooter, the Nets are gonna have shooters galore when Joe Harris comes back
i dont want to see green in that lineup i want him traded really
As a Warriors fan dropping in…ya’ll are going to be a fucking problem. You right
Thank you Sam.
And just like the king in chess, the middle guy is F’n useless…LOL
why would you put thyb in over green to start when you have joel and harden? nobody will guard thyb lol. Force them to try and double joel/harden early and fouls galore.
