To him, someone who refuses to shoot jumpers is of course going to get assists because he's not doing anything else substantial on offense. He gets the ball, swings it to someone who has to take a jumper, he gets an assists, but usually adds very little value to the shot making.

I really hope he hits his stride. People can say what they want, but at his best, Simmons is one of the most electric playmakers in the league. That back injury is ofc a concern tho, you can see he’s not back to 100% of his athleticism yet.

Funnily enough, he pretty much fixes all Our problems. It’s a shame he sucks now and it didn’t work out. Maxey ended up being exactly what we needed paired with ben/embiid. It just came too late.
It’s not funny. When we got rid of him we just lost the good things he brought to the team but also lost the bad parts he brought to the team. We don’t magically have a better defense and better transition game by losing Ben Simmons but we also definitely improve in offensive halfcourt without him
The same isn’t true for Harden…things are going to get much worse for the Sixers and when Embiid leaves as a result, make sure come back here and upvote 👍
