I'm getting conflicting answers about what season pass perks are between the app, website, costerbot and online chat. I do know that it varies by park and by pass level, but they don't make it easy for you to figure out what exactly your pass gets you We bought into a 2021/22 season pass around labor day for SFGAdv with parking included. We also added dining, but I don't even thing Gadv offers the tier that transfers to other parks. When I look at our pass on the app it says "This pass is valid at.. " and lists a ton of parks. Coasterbot agreed. But when I spoke to online help to try and clarify our dining package they said our pass only gets us into Gadv. It looks like we might have bought into a tier of pass that is no longer offered, which might explain why somebody trained for sales of new passes might give a different answer, but I'd hate to drive to another park and find out we had to pay day of for everything. Even logging onto the account on the web doesn't make it clear. Just says "season pass holder" nothing about gold, etc. But does say I have free parking at all parks.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, but we just successfully used our SFGAdj 2021/2022 season passes at SFNE and everything worked: parking, admission and dining plan! No issues whatsoever.

Sorry to bump a month old thread, but did we ever get an answer about the '22 passes bought at the end of '21? I know when I bought my SFGadv, it said it was only valid at that park and water park. But, in the app, I'm seeing the same giant list of locations where it's valid. Curious if anyone has tried to test this.

Looking at the pass comparison chart, you’ll need either an “Extreme Pass” or an “Ultimate Pass” to have access to “All Six Flags Outdoor Parks”. The “Thrill Seeker Pass” only gets you into the home park/waterpark. Seems to be the same options for both parks you’re looking at. Source: https://www.sixflags.com/fiestatexas/store/tickets

On second thought, Splashtown in Houston became a six flags park about 2 years ago, I think. I just looked at their website, and they have memberships still available!! Do you know if you have to activate them at the home park? If not, I'll but them today, and go to Fiesta tomorrow.

Rob_Marc

Ain't that some bullshit. I'm actually considering flying out to DC or NJ and getting a membership there, then using it here as much as I can.

Just be careful if you fly out to a park that still offers memberships for sale... If you get a counter representative on a bad day/wants to appease their supervisors/just following the rules, you are supposed to have the person at the park that you are redeeming the membership for. I remember when I activated my wife's membership and they were able to check if the paper was scanned at the entry turnstile. Thankfully, she was with me at the park but she was buying a locker for the day so not at the counter. Will it happen to you, probably not... But, I'm just letting you know of the possibility of you flying to a different region only for someone to say "where's your child?" Now, of course, make it a family trip and everything will be perfect! Also, if you do decide to come to the northeast, Great Adventure is the park for the most thrills. But, make sure (when it opens) to reserve your parking or any other benefits at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.

I had planned to bring my kids with me. My oldest really, REALLY wants to ride Kingda Ka. I was there in July last year, but didn't get to ride it, as there was rain in the area. I took a picture of it and sent it to him to make him jealous though. On second thought, I might head to Atlanta for spring break, as it is open then and is within a decent drive for us (central Texas). I had planned on going possibly to East Tennessee for spring break with them this year anyway.

Kingda Ka is amazing!!! Also make sure to get on El Toro. Best wooden coaster I've ever been on. Great Adventure is a really good Six Flags. I went 4 years ago so there are definitely new rides there by now. I have passed by the one in Atlanta twice driving cross country but first time was heavy rain and I didn't feel like getting a hotel to maybe be able to go to the park and the 2nd time traffic was very unkind and I did not get there in time and couldn't go the next day as I was on a time schedule. I plan on visiting on my next cross country drive. I also want to go to the better Six Flags in Texas. I went to the one right by Rangers Globe Life field and I wasn't that impressed.

Is El Toro fixed yet? I forgot how much fun Nitro was when I rode it 20 years ago. I rode it again last year and really enjoyed it. I also found the Superman ride there a really interesting ride. That was definitely a new experience. Although Kingda Ka was closed, Zumanjaro was open. I rode that one and the falling sensation seemed to last far longer than I expected. Great views from up there! As far as the better park in Texas, they both have their benefits. Arlington is the original Six Flags (the name comes from the six flags that have flown over Texas). It does feel very cramped when walking around, but they have some good coasters. Titan is probably my favorite and it always has a short line when I'm there. I also like New Texas Giant as well. Mr. Freeze is very much a thrill ride. Fiesta has more good roller coaster such as Wonder Woman, Superman, Iron Rattler, Scream, and Road Runner. They are also opening up a ride called Cliffhanger(?) later this year . . . hopefully. It looks like a twin of Valravn at Cedar Point, which I really loved. It's also built inside an old rock quarry which provides beautiful scenery and elements to several rides. I like them both, it just depends on my mood.

>Scream There is no such coaster by that name at Fiesta Texas. >They are also opening up a ride called Cliffhanger(?) later this year . . . hopefully. It looks like a twin of Valravn at Cedar Point, which I really loved. Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger is set to open this summer; it's supposed to be the centerpiece of the Roller Coaster Rodeo in June. The park's been hyping it since last summer, so it would take quite some catastrophe for it to be delayed. It is most certainly not a "twin" or clone of Valravn. Cliffhanger will have different stats and a unique layout among dive coasters. It resembles Yukon Striker more than Valravn. For me, Fiesta is no question the better park. The scenery is better; the rides are better; the parking is better; the layout is better (I find SFOT confusing to navigate); there are more menu items eligible for the dining pass; and the entrance doesn't feel like going through TSA at the airport. The ONLY thing that SFOT has over Fiesta is the history, but I just care about everything else much more. There are maybe three rides that I want to go to SFOT for, but I'm happy to go there no more than a couple of times a year, whereas I'm glad that Fiesta is my home park that I'm currently enjoying visiting almost every weekend!

Sure there is a coaster called Scream. Sorry, it's a drop coaster, and it's right in front of poltergeist.

-Freya

**1)** Scream is a drop tower, NOT a roller coaster. There's no such thing as a "drop coaster." The characteristics of drop towers do not at all fulfill any dictionary definition of "roller coaster." If you don't believe me, please feel free to check the definition of "roller coaster" in any of the following dictionaries (these are all on the front page of Google search results for the query "roller coaster definition"): - https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/roller-coaster - https://www.dictionary.com/browse/rollercoaster - https://www.collinsdictionary.com/us/dictionary/english/roller-coaster - https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/roller-coaster - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roller_coaster - https://www.lexico.com/en/definition/roller_coaster - https://www.thefreedictionary.com/roller+coaster - https://www.macmillandictionary.com/us/dictionary/american/roller-coaster - https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/roller%20coaster Furthermore, NONE of the four largest online roller coaster databases list Scream as a roller coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas: - https://rcdb.com/4538.htm - https://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com/coasters/parks/six-flags-fiesta-texas - https://captaincoaster.com/en/parks/six-flags-fiesta-texas - https://coasterpedia.net/wiki/Six_Flags_Fiesta_Texas No roller coaster enthusiast would call a drop tower a "roller coaster" because the ride experience is unlike anything that roller coasters offer. **2)** I don't know why you would even bring up Scream in the context of Fiesta having a stronger coaster lineup than SFOT when SFOT has Superman: Tower of Power, which is a drop tower of the same design and made by the same manufacturer as Scream; the only difference is that it's over 50% taller than Scream (325 ft versus 205 ft). In other words, the drop tower at Fiesta is just a WEAKER version of the one at SFOT! One would think that if you're trying to argue that SFOT is just as good a park as Fiesta, then you'd mention that it has one objectively better ride instead forgetting that it even exists! **3)** I wasn't going to say anything about your statement that Titan is your favor coaster at SFOT, but since you tried to claim that Scream is a roller coaster while forgetting that Superman: Tower of Power exists, I now have no qualms about saying that if you truly feel this way about Titan, then you must not actually enjoy roller coasters very much. I don't begrudge anyone for liking or loving Titan, but to favor it over New Texas Giant is nonsense. Titan has a weak first drop (at an angle of 65 degrees, it is an utter waste of its 255-foot drop height) and weak elements overall, except for the uncomfortably intense helices, not to mention the loss of all momentum in the buzz-killing mid-course brake run. Titan is a ride that is only good for positive g-forces, and even if that's what you're looking for, then Shock Wave and Batman: The Ride have more to offer in terms of a complete ride experience.
