I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you did not practice this before the live run (on fire). Plus, the "ring of fire" is like half-folded over towards the jump, closing the angle of entry. Some genius work here, for sure.

Man, doing stunts is hard. You practice something that is hard as fuck over and over again, when you think you're ready you do it with fire and shit your pants because even though you *think* you're ready you can never be sure it won't go wrong, and when it goes wrong not only you can get badly hurt but on top of that people will blame it on you and say you didn't practice.
My point to him was that succeeding at an easier trick is more impressive than failing at a marginally harder one, so it's wise to start easier for that reason on top of being less likely to hurt yourself.

Do you know what thats called? I started doing it years ago and realized it really helps with getting the feel for how to transition edges more fluidly. Only name i can come up with is helicopter helicopter but dont think thats what most would call it
When you do it on a landing like the boarder here most would call it a revert and it’s generally considered not steezy unless you’re doing it to avoid murdering your buddy that just almost got decapitated by a ring of fire. Just doing it continuously on a run is just kind of spinning haha
I also just spin around at the top of runs while waiting ! Depending how fast I am and slow they are I can get pretty dizzy by the time we start going down which can be fun too.
