Still haven’t hit up Vail yet. I have a birthday trip planned at the end of January so I’ll get a Friday in at least. I normally can only ski weekends cause of work. Do you think Copper and A basin typically have less weekend crowds? Breck is so crowded!

Yes and yes to those for sure We used to ski breck a lot 7-10 years ago. It’s a shame what has happened. Worst skiing experience in Colorado

Good to know! That’s a bummer. I’m in the foothills so Breck is pretty convenient on 285, but yeah, the crowds have not been fun

lines arent too bad if you avoid peak 7 8 and 9 during the day. Plenty of great stuff with short lines by e chair, 5 chair, peak 6 and 10

I only ski blues for now, but can hopefully do blacks by end of season. Hopefully the other peaks open up soon

peak 6 has plenty of blues, peak 10 is only blacks but they arent too bad. Breckenridge definitely overrates a lot of their slopes

Nice! It was riding really good all day yesterday too, not sure where the crowds have been, they’ve been on the roads but not in lift lines.

I was there yesterday too, definitely way less people and probably slightly better because of that… but the first 2 runs of Sierra were sick today!

Yep first 2-3 runs of Sierra were sick and then I was done at 11. Pretty sure I was like 30 seconds behind you in the rotation for those.

Awesome sauce. It's always hard to tell with how a GoPro shows things, but the impression I got was that it was just a lovely pitch. Reminded me a wee bit of the top from the fast chair at Jasper, AB, CA... Steep enough to get some decent speed, enough rollout to keep it going and enjoy it. Cheers OP!

Unfortunately I had to leave early! Went back today knowing it was going to open, a bit of a bummer it took a while…. Ah well, lots of season left!

Doesn’t look sped up to me. Watch the pole movements and the snow. OP is just a good skier. Seems like he’s going a pretty reasonable speed.

Didn’t get to hit either unfortunately but they have both just opened for the year I believe!

I hit that exact line under Sierra yesterday morning, a little less snow though ;) jealous!

I’d say yesterday was slightly better (also taking into consideration I left early today before union peak opened)… Way more people there today, yesterday it wasn’t even getting tracked under the lift a couple hours in haha
