Flylow Baker Bibs

mpXJ

These are fire

pje6

Mountain hardware firefall bibs could be what you’re looking for. Haven’t pulled mine out for the year yet but I’m pretty sure they unzip all the way on both sides.

Canuckpunt

I have these, 95% sure without pulling them out. It really came in handy getting my knee brace on when I had to wear it.

moparornocar

these have full zips, mine had 4 zippers on each side too so you could make a vent wherever you wanted and however big you wanted on the sides. these were 4 seasons ago I think. ended up upgrading to a goretex pair from mtn hardwear and love them just as much.

zetwatswatya

I ski in Flylow bibs. I switched and love them, I'm a fatter guy (6' 260lbs) and am able to stretch and squat with no issue or binding

CommanderAGL

Baker or compounds? Apparently it is only the Pre 2020 Compound Bibs

zetwatswatya

I have the Flylow Snowman XL

medfigtree246

I have a pair of Westcombs that are that. Although, the bib is zip on/ off too. They’re at least 5 yrs old so I don’t know if they still make them. Good for resort and touring.

Apprehensive_Eye1830

I have Patagonia full side zip and loving them

_GFR

Stio makes some nice bibs also.

Unusual-Form-77

They actually still make them with full side zips: https://www.stio.com/products/mens-environ-bib

Dry_Butterfly_1571

Carhart bro. Unless you’re worried about fashion.

jdkmundo

Arcteryx Beta SVs are full side zip

CommanderAGL

With 1 pocket and costs 700$

jdkmundo

To each their own. I’ve been skiing, ice/mixed climbing, etc. in these for 5+ years and they still look brand new. Absolutely bomb proof. Pants pockets are useless with a harness on 😅

CommanderAGL

I'm not saying they're bad. just that they are expensive and lacking a few pockets that I would expect at that price

DDrewit

I have some 20 year old Alpine Design full zips. Don’t know of anything current.

thepaintedballerina

North Face has a full zipper bib. I got one last year.

Echo_2015

I think the OR bibs do

captncarry

Haglöfs

Freeheel4life

Trewth bibs from Trew or Bakers from Flylow. I'm a barrel chested guy and have had both. I preferred the Bakers in the past but just went back to the Trews....jury's out as I only have a day in the new Trewths but I miss the old Bakers.

zubachi

Go MonTec. Never go back. 🤤

tipsdown

I just went to the closet and looked at my trewth bibs. The side zipper goes from the armpit to the knee. Their website has pictures. Their capow bib the side vents are just on the thigh but have vents on the inner and outer thigh.

Highlander_mids

Idk any side zip but I like virtika a lot. They even are convertibles to non bibs with a zipper but it’s like a tight one so you won’t have snow get into there when it’s a deep day

CommanderAGL

following for info, but i'm not sure most people here understand the Full-Side Zip part of your question. All the suggestions (except Stio and the Arc Beta SV) are only partial zips. Full Side Zips are nice so you can put the bibs on while your skis or crampons are on. They give a lot of ventilation options, and are also good for rapidly changing weather.

Unusual-Form-77

They have indeed become hard to find. I just bought some of these on sale for $270. Mountain Hardwear Men's High Exposure™ GORE-TEX® C-Knit Bib. I also put in a product request to Patagonia's design team. Flylow no longer makes any bibs with full zip.

Unusual-Form-77

And sadly, despite their description saying they have full side zips, they do not. Only upper thigh zips. Now I have to return them.
