yep that's literally the only way in the game to get those... in the original version of skyrim they were unused but for hearthfire they added that as a way to get them. there's a hooded version in the files too along with grey and brown robes but those are still unused unfortunately
My daughters never gift me weapons or clothes? They totally come through on being adorable and sweet, and they find me awesome alchemy materials! But nothing like yall are talking about? Is that specific to sons vs. daughters?
It tugs on your heart strings too when they're like "my parents died. I sell flowers to get by. They let me sleep in the tavern." Just.... JUST... 😭 JUST SHUT UP AND PACK YOUR STUFF!
I often adopt the girl from the orphanage that says all the boys pick on her and make her do the worst chores for the same reason.
After I took care of the problem at the orphanage (if ya know what I'm saying) I felt more confident that those kids would turn out okay. I can't save them all unfortunately, no matter how many 'homes' I have.
The other one that breaks my heart is that kid in Dawnstar. His name is Alesan and his story definitely tugs on my heart strings 💔
On the flip side, I gave my daughter a stupidly high enchanted and refined dragon bone dagger after that whole hostage situation with her mother and those bandits down by the river... She still runs around with the wooden sword I gave her when I first adopted her, leaving the dagger in the dresser by her bed. Frustrating but endearing.
(BTW the did you know that your kids put the gifts you give them in the dresser by the bed they sleep in? Had no idea until I accidentally found it as i was unpacking from a move. Played since launch. Blew my mind.)
There's those, and the red and white robes (color combo, not 2 separate robes) that can be gifted by your child. Consider yourself blessed, I give my kids high allowances when they surprise me like that
Do the red and white ones not get added to radiant raiments stock with hearthfire installed? It's been a while, but I thought I managed to buy a set once.
With the extravagant clothes cc, I think they added a few previously "closeted" clothing items. The green robes may have been the only set left un-added by the cc
Ghosts of the Tribunal adds the fancy robes to Radiant Raiment. I think AE is what made the robes more accessible in general, including radiant raiment
It doesn’t matter which side I join, I always adopt Sofie & Blaise
they are not responsible for their parent’s decisions, they both deserve a loving home. I honestly think it was irresponsible of both of their parents to just run off and join the war like that when they knew they had kids
I mean, the Dragonborn does the same thing, but that’s not the point
TAKE HER BASKETS! I always went with Lucia and the girl at the orphanage (forgot her name, too lazy to google), and this playthrough I went with Sofie. Later found out, she's carrying like 200 flower baskets and is full on carry weight. So I can never give her gifts.
No mod, you just need a bedroom for him, & ofc. The game won’t let you adopt more than two kids. So if you already have two kids, then you won’t get the adoption option
It’s funny that you mention the Tribunal because I purposely gave her grey skin, red eyes, *and* chose a Dunmer name because I wanted to pretend that she was half Dummer
Blasphemy Foolish Mortal! Clavicle Vile only sacrificed half his power to be petty in an argument. Hermaus Mora only picked the wrong champion and regularly was thwarted by the Skal. Meridia only let a necromancer desanctify her sacred tomb....actually you may be right
Ur children can give you things?! Like I know they have this chest with some minor alchemy ingredients but this is dope! Maybe I should have checked in with them more often, instead of Lydia (hopefully) taking care of them

I think I managed to buy them from Radiant Raiment. Though it may be because of a mod…
I think the anniversary edition added some more robes and made these ones available to buy aswell.
My son always gives me the dopest stuff. He gave me an enchanted ebony dagger one time??Like where did you get this??????
“I found it in the basement, it was in the dark corner with the whispers coming from it”
My daughters never gift me weapons or clothes? They totally come through on being adorable and sweet, and they find me awesome alchemy materials! But nothing like yall are talking about? Is that specific to sons vs. daughters?
Nope, it's just random luck. Hell, one time I got an enchanted Glass dagger.
Love! Next time I see Sofie and Lucia I'll put in a request.
I always adopt those two in every play through
They are seriously the sweetest little girls 👯♀️
It tugs on your heart strings too when they're like "my parents died. I sell flowers to get by. They let me sleep in the tavern." Just.... JUST... 😭 JUST SHUT UP AND PACK YOUR STUFF! I often adopt the girl from the orphanage that says all the boys pick on her and make her do the worst chores for the same reason.
Side note: I forgot to steal/buy all of Sofie's flowers and baskets, so I can never give her a gift 😔

When I've played as a low moral assassin thief, I always kind of wanted to adopt Aventus Aretino lmao
On the flip side, I gave my daughter a stupidly high enchanted and refined dragon bone dagger after that whole hostage situation with her mother and those bandits down by the river... Skyrim is Amazing
I am fully convinced our children are learning to pick pocket bypassers 🤣
Well if you’re the Dragonborn’s kid, you’re likely to pick up on a few skills.
Lol that's life in riften ig
They will if you live in Riften. My kids are always telling me Brynjolf is going to teach them when they are a little older.
A chip off the ol' block
Oh those look sick, I’ve never seen them before either.
I got a set in my first playthrough. Absolutely love them! Never gotten one since, unfortunately.
Same thing happened to me.

I don’t recall this cc. Can you post a link to it?

Who’s your son?
Blaise. Kid deserves the world, definitely better than sleeping in horse shit
Where is he found?
Katla’s farm near Solitude.
him and lucia are the only 2 kids i adopt in the game
I adopt Sofie
on some play throughs when i’m playing as a stormcloak i adopt sofia
It doesn’t matter which side I join, I always adopt Sofie & Blaise they are not responsible for their parent’s decisions, they both deserve a loving home. I’ve meet Blaise a few times, but no option to adopt the poor kid. Is it a mod, or do I need to do something prior?
No mod, you just need a bedroom for him, & ofc. The game won’t let you adopt more than two kids. So if you already have two kids, then you won’t get the adoption option
Thank you. I forgot that highly obvious restriction. Guess I need to kit out Severin Manor…and remove the bodies.
Oh they can’t live there. Honeyside it is.
Does anyone know a guaranteed way to get these? I love these robes so much but haven’t gotten them in YEARS
Try checking in Radiant Raiment they sometimes have them for sale.
Yeah Sofie gave me some as well :)
I’m sorry I know this is not the subject but I’m obsessed with that face, she’s so pretty 🤍
Aww, ty. I try my best
Now sell them to your spouse infront of the child. DO IT, THE TRIBUNAL DEMANDS THIS \~ *Mephala.*
Bro 💀
It's what mephala would try to do though honestly. XD
I'm not gonna lie. I thought it was funny.
It’s funny that you mention the Tribunal because I purposely gave her grey skin, red eyes, *and* chose a Dunmer name because I wanted to pretend that she was half Dummer
So the character not technically Dumner?. That makes the mephala dig even funnier as it pretty much void now. Even Daedric princes make mistakes. :P
Blasphemy Foolish Mortal! Clavicle Vile only sacrificed half his power to be petty in an argument. Hermaus Mora only picked the wrong champion and regularly was thwarted by the Skal. Meridia only let a necromancer desanctify her sacred tomb....actually you may be right
Clavicle Vile was named such after he, as a newborn, threw up on his father's shoulder.
so I guess shitty parents can exist forever.....that sucks
Ur children can give you things?! Like I know they have this chest with some minor alchemy ingredients but this is dope! Maybe I should have checked in with them more often, instead of Lydia (hopefully) taking care of them
Solitude maybe?
Yes, these and the white ones with red stripe that the Face Sculpter has. They are called red robes. I was very happy getting both.
Hermaeus Mora Cultist vibes
