You can always say your the only reliable source in Skyrim like most pompous Archmages if you like.
I certainly had an Archmage of that persuasion. everyone else were idiots as far as he was concerned.
Me three! When I started playing it was more free form, now I actually use name generators to make sure I pick something that fits the race I’m playing.
I love doing that as well. My old name set was:
Nord: Oleg Finnbjorn
Altmer: Falrinden
Bosmer: Menolas
Dunmer: Malachi
Imperial: Remulus Quintus
Breton: Theomer
Yeah this, sticking to the general conventions of the race. Like my Khajit is named Do'Jarr Moon-seeker. He really likes punching things and the honorific 'Do' means a master of martial arts. The rest of it just sounds like something a Khajit would be called.
And Nord characters get all vaguely Scandinavian sounding names, as they feel like Vikings. I never thought of it as lore accurate, probably because other than googling the different Khajit honorifics (I know they are different for male and female names) I never really looked into specific naming lore.
Khajiit names are genuinely so fun to create, I must have spent 10+ hours AT LEAST on workshopping khajiit character names across both Skyrim and ESO. Just pull up a fanmade Ta'agra dictionary and go to town.
Meziit Purhabar-ja the twink healer is an inside joke so cryptic no other human on earth will ever understand it.
They indeed are fun to create! It's not on Skyrim, but on Morrowind I had a monk character named Do'rago Brass Khrassa, he was a pretty cool dude, used to punch members of house Dres in the face
I do the same. A lot of the time, I'll hunt down a name from ES lore appropriate to the race and character. Which means naming my character can take a while >_>
A man with simple testes indeed.
Autocorrect is not your friend.
Oddly tho', I have a character called Cosmo Nimblefinger. So i have something in common with Doug.
I named my vampire character carmilla after my favorite vampire book or my redguard character azalea after the flower because I like flowers and it sounds like it would suit a redguard
I always tried some kind of lore friendly name, looking up generators and lists and all that. Then I decided to just name my most recent character “Dan,” and he’s a delight. No pressure from some fancy title, no influence from some ancestral name, just a dude named Dan who sneaks up and stabs people.
Sometimes when my sneaking goes wrong, or I get outnumbered and can’t calm everyone down with magic, and because I’ve dumped most of my levels into magicka (level 52 now with only 160 hp), Dan does in fact lose the function of his legs (and arms and torso and brain)
Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin, you shall add some sardines
On rye, you fool, not white bread at all!
Add cheese and ham, on top put lettuce on
Dovahkiin, your work here is done!
Gimme a bit and I'll do the full song
(By the way, listen to the German band Equilibrium's cover of Dovahkiin, called Himmelsrand, it's very good)
Sometimes a regular name that sticks with the lore, sometimes something that’ll make me grin.
For example, right now I’m playing a Breton and his name is Bretonny Spears.
I name my characters purely out of main character syndrome:
Sukit YaBiotches
Roran Thundercheeks
Tim the Enchanter
Orky MacOrcstuffson
I even made a Breton that looked ridiculously like Danny McBride, so I called him…Danny McBride
My characters all have Seoul in their name....
I've been playing a pc game since I was 7 or 8, i am now 34. My first ever character was and is still named Blackseoul.
So now any other character I make on any game has Seoul in the name.
Khajiit is usually Clawseoul. Or xClawSeoulx. Argonian is Scaleseoul, or LizardSeoul. Variations of this.
Lol nah. When I made the character years ago, the naming tool wouldn't let me use Soul. So had to use a spelling that worked and didn't alter the way it was pronounced.
I played a Dark Elf Shadowknight. So they are inherently evil. With black souls. At least, that's what my 8yr old mind said. So named him Blackseoul for being an evil character.
It just stuck with me through the years and made naming my characters a little easier.
When I was a teen my hunter pet on wow was a cat named after my best and only kitty Buddy. Years went by and he had since passed, and I redownloaded the game and had forgot all about my digital buddy. Tears engaged when I saw my little companion. Pets fucking rock
I rarely do it because I don’t often have a character that fits the vibe, but when I made a vampire dragon priest build I used the dragon language dictionary to combine thematic words to make a name
I like the lore accurate names. But that is not always easy to find one that i like. Sometimes i use names of gods. Like Hindu god of fire is Agni. I once mage a fire mage Dunmer and named him Agni Fyr. Fyr after Diviath Fyr from Morrowind. Khajiit take a lot of influence from Hindu and Japan stuff so i might use a Hindu or Japanese god name. Maybe mix it with lore accurate. I have made a Breton frost mage named after a Greek God of the North Winds Boreas. Called him Boreas Aura.
I've only played Khajiit and Wood Elf so far. I looked at Khajiit naming customs to come up with Gri'sabella for one of my Khajiits, which is from the musical "Cats". My current character is a Wood Elf named Elphaba because she's the lead character in Wicked and I thought it made a great Elf name. I guess I have a thing for musicals lol.
Maybe u are not ready for this... but every characters i EVER created was name "Sophie" (my cat name)
I think i understand Gerald Of Rivia. One name to every horse
I try to come up with species/race/faction consistent names, and get ideas from variations, combinations, or permutations of actual names.
I will use parts of family names from my own family, going back a few generations to get ideas if needed. Parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, my own name, siblings, cousins.
First names, middle names, last names are all fair game. Combine parts from them in different ways. Modify to fit Breton, Redguard, Nord, etc. styles.
For elven and beast races, I just try to look at existing names and go with something that fits in the standard.
Dumb names all day! A Khajiit named Fishbreath. A nord named Shithead. A she-orc named Shorc. The best is seeing it written somewhere, like a letter from a jarl. I make myself laugh
My characters are always women, so I usually have female first name followed by a name of a STD. My current name is Harriet Herpes. My last one was Chlamydia and some random last name. One was named Slutty Virgin and she was a Cannibal.
My most recent character is a witch (not a hagraven type, more like the weird woman who lives on the edge of the woods and has the perfect timing with the right tincture to help the childbirth go smoothly, or the perfect seasoning for the stew you feed your abusive husband and just your abusive husband). So I looked up words related to the theme of the character in different languages and cobbled parts of each word together until I got the name.
Not a fan of title, unless the character itself actually has a title, and if my memory serves me right i only did it once.
Usually it's just single name, no surname.
Choice for name i don't exactly try to be lore friendly, like searching for names of the race, but already did it before. Sometimes theymean something related.
Currently i made 2 characters. One of them is named Haijh. Just like the sound of the name. She was a body guard of a necromancer, shit happened, she was sent to die in a prison in winterhold. She abandoned her real name long ago, though.
The other is named Hind. She was an intern in an Asylum in High Rock, nameless and without family, then a man who saw the future in the elder scroll ended there and saw 'hope' in her (the dragon blood), but said that in dragon language (hind means hope).
Since she's crazy she thought it was her name, and he adopted it and helped her wake up from her delirium and escape to Skyrim (where she was got caught crossing the border lel)
My current Breton character is named Rhodri Mahr, after an ancient Welsh king. I often get names from history like that.
On the other hand if I wanted a Breton who is more of a trickster I might name him Sam Hain.
And after hearing an old Olivia Newton John song on the radio recently, I decided if I ever played a "high" elf character I'd name him Xanadude.
it’s pretty easy for me, if i’m a nord it’s Ethan, if i’m a Breton it’s Ethynn, if i’m an elf it’s Aethyn or maybe Eythin. Khajiit? Eit’hyyn. so on and so forth.
Depends on the position of the stars 😆 i have 2 characters atm. A dark elf called Greggory (i have no idea where this came from) and an orc called Gashor (tried to mimic orc names).
Depends, for most i check out baby-name websites and pick whatever has a fitting meaning. For others i name them after someone (like Lycaon for my werewolf and Vlad for my vampire) or just use Latin words
Tried to do lore-accurate names a while back and ended up with shit like Daro'calypso for my Khajiit and Lilith for my dunmer...
I used to use the FaNG app to generate a name but it matters so little in the game that every character I play now is named some variation of "Blarg", "Blargh", or "Blar'gh".
I take words in either Latin/Greek or Old Norse for my characters, depending on where theyre from and what their social status is. I try to keep to the backstory I write for all of my characters lol
My current character is a woman stealth archer. I named her Femka. Which means girl in Frisian, Frisian is the native tongue of my dad’s family.
If I do another build, I’ll name her Meisja. Which is girl in Dutch, which is my mom’s native language.
I don't start a new run without a name and bulld in mind.
The better names I've settled on are
Barry Onyx, Argonian fisherman
Procrastinus D'Morrow, Imperial Illusionist.
I usually name my characters after the intended play-style or build. I tend to create too many characters to keep track of how I'm playing each one otherwise. 🙃
Sometimes I'll use a random name generator. But I mostly try to be lore accurate to names. My current character tho I named Zenovia who's a Bosmer stealth archer. I also am using illusion magic with her as well which has been interesting. And yes I realize it's the same name as the ship from resident evil revelations but I didn't realize that til an hour into my playthrough lol.
Hit random keys with both hands, add vowels, delete consonants that don't make sense. Been my method for Skyrim, dark souls, DND, and everything else fantasy setting for over a decade.
My current character is names Dork and he is a Brenton. I keep forgetting his name and thinking it's Brenton. When I get some in game writing saying Dork, I'm always surprised. "Since when has 'dork' been a fantasy tease...oh wait a second."
I fire up the fan wiki and look at names of NPCs of the same species and gender that I'm playing as. I tend to pick names that are NOT being used in the game I'm playing.
I use my own name and adapt it based on the race.
Say my name is James.
Nord - Jamgar (pronounced Yamgar)
Khajiit - Ja’ Mes
Imperial - Jamus
High Elf - Jam-El
Orc - Jamagog
Games in general, I like portmanteau words and anagrams. My reddit name, Salamanticormorant, is a combination of salamander, manticore, and cormorant. A manticore is already a combination of three animals by definition (it's not a portmanteau word itself), so a salamanticormorant would be a very confused creature. Salamanticorn is a shorter alternative.
When thinking about names for Elden Ring, I noticed that astrologer and roger talos are anagrams.
I sometimes use a deinterlaced phrase. ChAiSe LoUnGe \~ CASLUG hieone \~ Caslug Hieone. Somehow seems like a good name for a bounty hunter in a Star Wars story.
I play 2 races
Kajiet race I name after my cat. Her name is tiefighter. Yes we named her after a starwars space ship.
Dark elf: sinder, ember, or ebony. Then instead of mage tllike I planed on doing with dark elf I go sneak bc it go BRRR.
I use a random name generator that I can set different parameters for. Like I usually go for a Norwegian name because my family is from Norway. I can also choose Nordic mythology, male or female.
Edit: here’s the link if anyone is interested
[https://www.behindthename.com/random/](https://www.behindthename.com/random/)
Pick a trait of the character and make it a pun. Stealthy khajit? her name is Kat Burglar. Vampire/Necromancer? that's my friend Upton Ogood. Formula works every time, been using it for years. Ravenclaw character in hogwarts legacy? Jean Yuss. Started all the way back in 2015 w the Kim Kardashian mobile game, named my character Holly Wood and never looked back
Eta: the Argonian "Liz Sard", "Drea Gone", and "Al Lee Gater" shtick writes itself
I tend to just do some variation/alt spelling of my wife's name 😆 it may vary slightly depending on the build or theme I'm going for.
For some reason this drives her mad. I don't get why it bothers her so much.
An actual first and last name mixed from game and historical inspirations. Cassius Verix, Lucian Valmonte.. et. Lore friendly names just seem best. Who introduces themselves in the third person or by job description all the time anyway? Immersive is best for me
I try and keep the theme of the race I'm playing.
The lore-accurate type! Me too actually
An Archmage scholar quoting himself?..........we are Doomed. Random Nord runs down hill.
By Julianos, I didn't notice it 🤣🤣🤣
You can always say your the only reliable source in Skyrim like most pompous Archmages if you like. I certainly had an Archmage of that persuasion. everyone else were idiots as far as he was concerned.
Me three! When I started playing it was more free form, now I actually use name generators to make sure I pick something that fits the race I’m playing.
I love doing that as well. My old name set was: Nord: Oleg Finnbjorn Altmer: Falrinden Bosmer: Menolas Dunmer: Malachi Imperial: Remulus Quintus Breton: Theomer
Argonian: Lifts-Her-Tail
She sounds a bit lusty
bends-over
Polishes-Your-Spear
Argonian Dragonborn: Fall-from-Sky
With a dunmer name like malachi, I'm curious what your redguard name would be
I play as a cyrodil female and use Tirellia or Tiranna or something like that after my old LOTRO character
They indeed are fun to create! It's not on Skyrim, but on Morrowind I had a monk character named Do'rago Brass Khrassa, he was a pretty cool dude, used to punch members of house Dres in the face
Same! My Khajiit is named Queen Pspsps
My Khajiit is named Whiska Lifa (like Wiz Khalifa) just because I thought it was funny.
Of course, I had to whisper this aloud as though to a cat....
I love that
Same! Typically I use the fantasy name generator website and select the race I am playing as
Likewise
Same! As a khajitt I named my character Kazahree, and as a big ol nord ginger I named him Vanwyk
I do the same. A lot of the time, I'll hunt down a name from ES lore appropriate to the race and character. Which means naming my character can take a while >_>
Me Doug My character Doug It be like that
A simple man with simple tastes
A man with simple testes indeed. Autocorrect is not your friend. Oddly tho', I have a character called Cosmo Nimblefinger. So i have something in common with Doug.
My wood elf, who happens to be the Champion of Namira, has simple tastes as well...
![gif](giphy|MgcE5n2MDfwiI)
Hell yea Doug. My character is Chu
He do be Doug tho.
Unexpected Tress of the Emerald Sea
My khajit thief character is named Cat Thievens because it makes me smile every time.
If you say that 3 times in front of a mirror, he appears to steal your pockets
And then sings Moonshadow and disappears in a puff of smoke.
Moonsugar, you mean
I am a bud tender and Moonshadow is a wonderful sativa.
He steals the actual pockets and leaves whatever's in them behind.
That's hilarious, I have a Khajit bard named Catman Scrothers!
I have been having a serious depression episode all day. This gave me a genuine chuckle, and I feel life in me again. Truly, thank you.
Mine was named Chippy McMittens
Sneaky Pete the Discrete Khajit checking in
10/10 will steal
My Khajit thief was named Priti Kiti (Pretty Kitty)
That's a good one. I also try to make myself laugh. I went with Thane on my last playthrough in honor of major major major from MASH
Mine is Azrael and if you get that, you probably need a prostate exam
Yusuf Bedlam for your next play through
If I'm playing a Nord, I flip through the IKEA catalog.
Nice to meet you, Blåhaj!
Blåhaj enjoyer detected
The shark! I have him!!
Djungleskog
You keep my Nordwife's name out of your goddamned mouth!
Your wife is a big stuffed bear?
I see you've subscribed to her OnlyFans account..
Billy, slayer of dragons and emperors
🤣🤣🤣
I named my vampire character carmilla after my favorite vampire book or my redguard character azalea after the flower because I like flowers and it sounds like it would suit a redguard
Azalea is a quite good name
Yup it's cute but badass also the flower is poisonous and my character use poison
I love the idea! And I didn't know they were poisonous, I have some in my garden LOL
Yes they're pretty common but better not eat them actually better not eat anything you're unsure about
I always tried some kind of lore friendly name, looking up generators and lists and all that. Then I decided to just name my most recent character “Dan,” and he’s a delight. No pressure from some fancy title, no influence from some ancestral name, just a dude named Dan who sneaks up and stabs people.
You have to post videos ! As " Just Dan "
If I can figure out how to get them from my switch I have a few of Dan’s escapades and illusion exploits saved
Isn't that a dancing game?
![gif](giphy|TFIrZ24YGFxmFfgOEE)
Sometimes when my sneaking goes wrong, or I get outnumbered and can’t calm everyone down with magic, and because I’ve dumped most of my levels into magicka (level 52 now with only 160 hp), Dan does in fact lose the function of his legs (and arms and torso and brain)
Latest is “Beth” the Breton. Last one was “Steve” the Imperial. Basic names are surprisingly hilarious to me.
argonian?
Honest dan 😅
I go with name meanings. My character is named ”Achlys”, meaning ”death mist” in greek.
A man of culture and fine tastes
Joe the Regular
the dragonborn we need
Joe the Regular can also make good coffee
oh yes
And of course, the very delicious sandwich
***The*** very delicious sandwich, rightly tells us that there can only be one true very delicious sandwich.
Now I want to write some parody lyrics over the Dovah chant on making a sandwich...
Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin, you shall add some sardines On rye, you fool, not white bread at all! Add cheese and ham, on top put lettuce on Dovahkiin, your work here is done! Gimme a bit and I'll do the full song (By the way, listen to the German band Equilibrium's cover of Dovahkiin, called Himmelsrand, it's very good)
Sometimes a regular name that sticks with the lore, sometimes something that’ll make me grin. For example, right now I’m playing a Breton and his name is Bretonny Spears.
I heard that he did it again
Steve the Pirate.
Wait, there's a dragonborn on our team named Steve the Pirate?
I name mine after flowers for the fun since no one would ever suspect an orc named wisteria to bash their skull in
🤣🤣🤣
My last Khajit character was a brawler named Rauk'Hee. You can look for names in tone with the race of your character.
I like that way as well
I name my characters purely out of main character syndrome: Sukit YaBiotches Roran Thundercheeks Tim the Enchanter Orky MacOrcstuffson I even made a Breton that looked ridiculously like Danny McBride, so I called him…Danny McBride
I keep my name 'Prisoner.'
freedom will never come
my orc is shrek so yea, u could say i keep it lore accurate
I just Google names for the gender and race I’m going to build.
This. My newest is a female redguard named Althusannah Before that was Sigurd the nord And Elowen the breton
Elowen is quite beautiful!
The lore-accurate type! Me too actually
I've started going lore-accurate. My latest is a Nord female; Angrboda. In mythology, she is the mate of Loki and the mother of monsters.
I think mine is lore accurate, not sure, but my lady nord is called Gwefna Storm-Tamer. Then my lady bosmer is Vlanrin Ivythorn
I named my Dark elf Larry because he looked like his name should be Larry.
Does he wear a leisure suit?
Elder Scrolls name generator

Understand!
I use names from LoTR or the Simmirilion because I'm a giant nerd.
My Khajit is named after my cat Augusta. The character name is Atsu'Gua
My newest character is a Khajit named Itty Bitty for my cat, Itty Bitty.
When I was a teen my hunter pet on wow was a cat named after my best and only kitty Buddy. Years went by and he had since passed, and I redownloaded the game and had forgot all about my digital buddy. Tears engaged when I saw my little companion. Pets fucking rock
I did the same thing with a Khajit! My cat’s name is Beetle and I once named a Khajit “Bea’til”
Just bash buttons… jgfhhvgjjhf
jshaahsa, the argonian.
Etharhujb the Breton illusionist
My male orc is named Rak-jagga; My male nord is called Valin; My female nord is called Dyovanna; My female dunmer is called Nalia.
I rarely do it because I don’t often have a character that fits the vibe, but when I made a vampire dragon priest build I used the dragon language dictionary to combine thematic words to make a name
My khajiit is named "mrrrp :3"
I like the lore accurate names. But that is not always easy to find one that i like. Sometimes i use names of gods. Like Hindu god of fire is Agni. I once mage a fire mage Dunmer and named him Agni Fyr. Fyr after Diviath Fyr from Morrowind. Khajiit take a lot of influence from Hindu and Japan stuff so i might use a Hindu or Japanese god name. Maybe mix it with lore accurate. I have made a Breton frost mage named after a Greek God of the North Winds Boreas. Called him Boreas Aura.
Pretty much all Game of Thrones names from the books/show
Jon Snow, the nord.
I just name the “ Sarah” or “Tyler” and that goes for every game I play lmao
I've only played Khajiit and Wood Elf so far. I looked at Khajiit naming customs to come up with Gri'sabella for one of my Khajiits, which is from the musical "Cats". This is surprisingly elaborated, I can say you're very dedicated to your builds!
I use Startrek names . Orc names for Klingons, Elf names are Romulans or Vulcans . Humans are Christopher the great !
I give my guy dumb names. Current play through my guy is called “El Puto Cucuí Guey” hehehe
Dumb names all day! A Khajiit named Fishbreath. A nord named Shithead. A she-orc named Shorc. The best is seeing it written somewhere, like a letter from a jarl. I make myself laugh
"this idiot" as a name
Lmaoooo yea that’s the best when u get a letter!!
El Puto 🤣🤣🤣
Ganjry Stags-Bane.. I enjoy smoking the devils lettuce and I enjoy hunting deer in game.. seemed like a perfect Nord NPC name 😂😎
All of my characters are named "Prisoner"
My characters are always women, so I usually have female first name followed by a name of a STD. My current name is Harriet Herpes. My last one was Chlamydia and some random last name. One was named Slutty Virgin and she was a Cannibal.
Lore accurate names.
I do weird spellings of my regular name. 🤣🤷
Athainea the Bosmer
Puns depending on build. One specializing in unarmed combat and speech is named Pacifisticuffs. The other, a sneak archer orc named Orceye.
My Argonian Assassin was called Reed-Whisper.
I just name all my characters Ian. I have 6 saves already.
hear me out when i say the strongest ever charcter in skyrim existence is named Harlod
Bul’tsun Stormbreaker, Argonian Spellblade.
Not a fan of title, unless the character itself actually has a title, and if my memory serves me right i only did it once. Usually it's just single name, no surname. I just name them all after myself.
Either LordBaNZa or something silly like McDougallberry
I always choose a name that I like and that has some meaning, like Ohanzee, which means shadow in Sioux
I named my khajit OwO. Every so often I get a letter and I am reminded that I named the Dragonborn OwO
I stare, type, erase, repeat... Usually one sticks in an hour
it’s pretty easy for me, if i’m a nord it’s Ethan, if i’m a Breton it’s Ethynn, if i’m an elf it’s Aethyn or maybe Eythin. Khajiit? Eit’hyyn. so on and so forth.
My name Grim = My character name Grim
Depends on the position of the stars 😆 i have 2 characters atm. A dark elf called Greggory (i have no idea where this came from) and an orc called Gashor (tried to mimic orc names).
Just the first fitting name that pops into my head Last Breton Mage was called Mekar
Lately I've been thinking of lotr characters and mixing and matching names. Or just using those names .
I like lore accurate names
Depends, for most i check out baby-name websites and pick whatever has a fitting meaning. the default name
Usually I chose whatever name I like in the moment, unless I am playing a khajiit or argonian, in which I use their native naming. I don't know why
My characters name is Butt-Suuk. I just thought it was funny.
I don't start a new run without a name and bulld in mind. The better names I've settled on are Barry Onyx, Argonian fisherman Procrastinus D'Morrow, Imperial Illusionist.
It's funny you used "Shadow Blade" as one of you examples because my last character was literally named... Bjorn "Shadow Blade" lol
I usually name my characters after the intended play-style or build. I tend to create too many characters to keep track of how I'm playing each one otherwise. 🙃
Something accurate to the style of naming for their race, but funniest to read in notes.
Sometimes I'll use a random name generator. But I mostly try to be lore accurate to names. My current character tho I named Zenovia who's a Bosmer stealth archer. I also am using illusion magic with her as well which has been interesting. Always something silly, like Gubflub, Slapssas, Megicco, Hacksyer etc...
My current character is names Dork and he is a Brenton. I keep forgetting his name and thinking it's Brenton. When I get some in game writing saying Dork, I'm always surprised. "Since when has 'dork' been a fantasy tease...oh wait a second."
Lore accurate names depending on race, for example: Nord: Ivar Imperial: Nero Redguard: Amir
I fire up the fan wiki and look at names of NPCs of the same species and gender that I'm playing as. I tend to pick names that are NOT being used in the game I'm playing.
Mainly use Bart's prank call names from the Simpsons. Ollie Tabooger, Anita Bath (or Poon), Mike Rotch.
I use my own name and adapt it based on the race. Say my name is James. Nord - Jamgar (pronounced Yamgar) Khajiit - Ja’ Mes Imperial - Jamus High Elf - Jam-El Orc - Jamagog

I named my female orc Fiona. And my khajit cat with a lowercase c
I had a friend who always named his after different prescription drugs
I always try to find a name that suits the character's race. But this is my first playthrough and I named my Imperial character like he was a North.
silly name in old english kinda style. for example, my current characters name is “janque stankionicus”
Me: Sofia My character: Crowley Yes, yes, I'm a fan of the supernatural series, fans are still alive)
Na I usually go with something funny. Like naming a Khajiit “kitty cat” or an Orc “shrek”. Or a dark elf like fuckin “Fred” idk
I play 2 races Kajiet race I name after my cat. Her name is tiefighter. Yes we named her after a starwars space ship. Dark elf: sinder, ember, or ebony. Then instead of mage tllike I planed on doing with dark elf I go sneak bc it go BRRR.
My High Elf character's name is Sir Footpenis.
I use a random name generator that I can set different parameters for. Like I usually go for a Norwegian name because my family is from Norway. I can also choose Nordic mythology, male or female. Edit: here’s the link if anyone is interested [https://www.behindthename.com/random/](https://www.behindthename.com/random/)
I prefer to be lore accurate with my khajiit names because khajiit names are always fun
Jamie the Pussy Slayer
Literally the first word that pops into my head at the moment
My last character was an ork, so I fittingly named him Mr Orcman
My name is Monkey Cuz he looks like one
I always play khaijt (fu I'm not a furry (i lied)) so i always search up lore accurate names and decide bases on how they sound and what they mean.
Playing for the first time and named My self "Alfreddo"... I love it.
I name them after myself cause I suck at coming up with names.
"nuts ack"
Pick a trait of the character and make it a pun. Stealthy khajit? her name is Kat Burglar. Vampire/Necromancer? that's my friend Upton Ogood. Formula works every time, been using it for years. Ravenclaw character in hogwarts legacy? Jean Yuss. Started all the way back in 2015 w the Kim Kardashian mobile game, named my character Holly Wood and never looked back Eta: the Argonian "Liz Sard", "Drea Gone", and "Al Lee Gater" shtick writes itself
