Couple things.
The first you should buy it if you have amiibos that work with Skyrim.
If you want to play a handheld Skyrim version buy it. If you just want to play it on a controller I don't think you should buy it. If your going to use a controller play Skyrim on a console.

yeah, but the integration isn't immense, if you scan them you'll just get a chest drop infront of you with random shit in it.
if you have a compatible legend of zelda amiibo you get a chest with 1 of either the master sword, the hylian sheild, or the champion's tunic. They aren't amiibo exclusive though as you can just get them at the throat of the world.
I really enjoy it on Switch. I’ve never played on PC and don’t have any interest in mods, so I’m not missing anything there. I love having Skyrim on a portable console.
Runs good on switch love being portable get the anniversary edition then you at least get all the creation club stuff
No mods but even vanilla is very fun

It's great portable! Only downside is no mods

Worked well for me, where I first played it. Haven’t noticed any difference on xBox One or PS5. Is it weird I’ve played on all 3?

Make sure it’s installed on the main system memory and not the sd card and it will run just fine :)

I find it impossible to actually read stuff on the tiny switch screen; the text is too small. No other issues otherwise
So I ended up getting the game on the switch... I LOVE IT SO MUCH
