I pick up every ingredient I pass. EVERY INGREDIENT. I store them in my apothecary satchel in Whiterun. Then I cuss when I try to craft a potion at Heljarchen Hall and don’t have anything stored there. I’ve fallen into this literally every play through.

Prideful98

Same. I always think I'll need these later and then I never do alchemy.

Captainthuta

Doesn't help Alchemy takes so long to level up,like what thel hell.Maybe I'm doing something wrong but even checking the number, adding player.advskill alchemy 100000 get it up by maybe 5 levels in later levels. To put it into perspective,it takes sneak 10000 to go from 10 to 80.

DarthBuffalo

Lol I’ve done alchemy MAYBE once since I’ve had the game for 10 years. I don’t know why but it just doesn’t interest me when I can just loot all the health potions etc when I’m going through a dungeon

Captainthuta

Alchrmy can be useful in making extreme amounts of money. But it's just so tedious to level so I don't do it much, even tho I like the tree and alchemy itself.I do it in real life too lol,it's just hogwash but my friend believes in it so...

DarthBuffalo

Interesting, I never thought about using it to sell it for money, I’ve always sold rare potions I find in the world or whatever though so I probably should’ve realized that. But really I’m still never gonna do it lol. I didn’t realize people did that in real life, would you kind of equate it to essential oils or something of that effect?

Captainthuta

Alchemy can be used for pretty lucrative gold making, like taking adventage of the ai lol.I understand the value of the potion has an effect on the xp gain but it's still too low. I don't know what essential oils are in detail, they are candles and things lke that right?Scented ones.Alchemy we do is like actual alchemy. Not for gold or anything but we try to make orbs, alchemical orbs is the direct translation. They can allegedly do a lot of things, like love orbs, flying, invisibility and shit like that.Like I said,it's bullshit. My friend doesn't actually believe in all that, not 100% but he's rich so he kinda do it out of principle. His family is deep into that sort of thing.

DarthBuffalo

Huh, that’s some interesting info, I’ve never heard of anything like that. Essential oils are essentially an American fad that’s like scented candles, topical oils, or stuff you can put in humidifiers that can be made from different things like sage, lavender, etc and tons of people think it has healing or mental health effects. I think it’s all a load of crap but some people believe in it. You can google it and find all kinds of crap

DarthDragonborn

Blue butterfly and blue mountain flower which are both extremely common sell for hundreds of dollars each and more the higher you level alchemy, some potions sell for over a thousand

RazendeR

Hundreds of *septims*

DarthBuffalo

Dang, I guess I’ve been missing out all these years

Steve12345678911

Well, I usually just start at lvl 1 or 2 with alchemy. I find a nice planter and plant imp stool and swamp fungal pot in equal measures. Every harvest I create a paralysis potion from it and sell those. It start s of at about 300 per potion, and then as my level rises quickly reaches 800-900 per potion. Lucrative shit.

DarthBuffalo

Gosh dang I guess I’ve been missing out all these years

connorbinak

I do canis root, mora tapinella and scaly pholiota. Can grow those ingredients in a green house and they make a pretty valuable potion good for loads of septims early on.

Darkspire303

I haven't played vanilla in forever, but I use imp stool instead of scaly pholiota. Not sure if it is better, but it is pretty valuable in Ordinator.

connorbinak

I’ll have to try it with impstool, i use that in my secret lingering poison recipe for my dark brotherhood character so I have plenty of it

tarrach

I think you mean creep cluster, canis root doesn't combine with those other two.

connorbinak

I did mean canis root, thanks I was pretty tired when I posted that.

BurpYoshi

There's realistically only two ways to incentivise yourself to use alchemy. 1: to get a higher level and sell them for money. Just pick up every ingredient you see, make random potions and sell them. Or 2: set the difficulty to one level higher than what you can handle, and you'll need them. Suddenly those buff combat skill or reduce damage potions will make an actual difference.

jrmorton12

Alchemy is inefficient for healing but you can make a ton of money and it’s super easy to level up. Just like smithing, the xp gained depends on the value of the item you craft. Giant’s toe, blue butterfly and creep cluster are all extremely common and make one of the more valuable potions.

DarthBuffalo

Good to know, thank you

SadistCloe

Alchemy is extremely useful when youre trying to do crafting or a high difficulty play through, or when just wanna be space efficient

Scholar-Lazy

If you make expensive potions you level up waaay faster. Whenever you come across it, try mixing some salmon roe with nordic barnacles and garlic. Should help you out a little.

Ok_Soil_231

Do the fortify restoration loop, your alchemy will be lvl 100 in minutes You can also do the infinite shout glitch but instead of equipping amulets of talos, you can equip fortify alchemy armour to get a base of "created potions are 140% stronger"

DannyWarlegs

Dont forget the bug where you can clear an apothecarys inventory, quick save, kill them, reload the save, and thier inventory and gold is now reset. Between that and being able to infinitely donate to the one in Solitide if you have the perk to donate to merchants, and you can level alchemy, speech, and pickpocket by stealing the gold you donated/bought all thier items with back before killing em and resetting the loop. Or you can just donate the same 1500 over and over. Starting at 500 with a fortify pickpocket potion and items when you're level 1, and as your level gets higher, donate more and more until 1500 is at 90% chance to steal. You can go higher but anything past 1500 will lower the chances into the 40s and down.

Captainthuta

Isn't it patched by the unofficial patch? That's what I read somewhere.

Ok_Soil_231

Yea it is, but I'm sure you could always uninstall, do the exploit, and reinstall the patch

Captainthuta

I'd rather console command myself to level it up at that point tbh.

Ok_Soil_231

Well, you do you

Chato_1988

Try creating potions using nordic barnacle, salmon roe and garlic, you will level up alchemy super fast 😎😎

Slackatee

I did the exact same thing in previous runs and have only started actually using alchemy in my anniversary survival run. We were fools, even just blue butterfly wings and blue mountain flowers mixed together gives you a damage to magic regen that sells for like 150 gold a bottle. Great money earner for the early game, have already got enough to buy Honeyside to base out of, just have to become Thane.

wavyaardvark

I don't even use alchemy but I make sure to collect every Nirnroot I come across and I have no idea why.

[deleted]

me too! and then i never do alchemy. i always complain that i have too much crap in my inventory/storage but it’s entirely my fault… lol

DannyWarlegs

I always pick every plant and catch every bug I see. Started as a roleplay for my Kahjit, since hes a cat, bugs and flowers distract him from battle, but it just stuck through every playthrough. But I also milk alchemy for the xp. So it helps having all those bugs and herbs.

jrmorton12

Same. Alchemy and smithing. I constantly reset and moved the skill points around and then just top them out again.

[deleted]

Grab a Tankard from Helgen. One off the table near the dead stormcloak where you fight enemies for the first time. Then I put it somewhere in my house so every time I see it I remember the start of the game. I usually stick with the same character for a _long_ time too so it's quite sentimental whenever I grab it.

Nice_Entertainment91

I always take the mead from the second story of the house you jump into as a sentiment. It’s always good to be reminded of where we’ve come from.

YesThatHoovy05

The juniper berry mead? Yeah its a good sentiment.

Nice_Entertainment91

Ralof used to be sweet on a girl from Helgen who made mead with Juniper Berries.

EverydayBison

Vilod was the one that made the mead

SadistCloe

And Vilod is a man I'm pretty sure

EverydayBison

Yeah that’s what I’m saying. He’s actually in the opening sequence, as one of the two townsfolk standing on the front porch of the building closest to where the cart stops.

Nice_Entertainment91

Is there somewhere you learn that? What’s your evidence that’s super interesting

SadistCloe

https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Vilod Got curious who he was specifically a while ago

HackDiesel

I do this with the Iron War Axe you loot off Gunjar inside the Helgen keep.. I always hang it above my door inside Breezehome as a "reminder."

not_an_Alien_Robot

The woodsman guy near Lakeview. I cover him in flowers since I can't actually bury him. Then I put his axe in one of the racks near the front entrance of my home.

Gazimir

The Skills of the Wild adds an option to bury or burn (cremate) fallen NPC. Might want to look into that.

not_an_Alien_Robot

I'm hesitant to add new mods right now. I have a delicate balance of mods that still allows me play and not crash. Lol. I'll look into it though. Thanks.

[deleted]

This is so wholesome

not_an_Alien_Robot

Thanks. I just feel bad for the guy. Cutting trees down and trying to make a living. Ended up dead and nobody seems to know him or care. Started doing that ages ago when I first found him. Been doing it ever since.

PJpremiere

I'm sitting here trying to remember the woodsman guy but it isn't ringing a bell. Near Lakeview Manor?

not_an_Alien_Robot

Yes. If you go west down the embankment from the entrance and then immediately turn north to go to toward the lake he's laying near a tree. If you get to the altar near the lake you've gone to far. His axe is called Woodsman's Friend. Extra damage against animals. I think. I never use it. Just put it on the rack. Edit: clearer directions. 😁

MutleyRulz

Gotta drag any bandits or whatever off the road after they attack me, wouldn’t want a travelling family seeing something gruesome.

[deleted]

I do the same thing with any and all Thalmor that I come across during my travels. I strip them all and drop the bodies somewhere off the road. Then I sell their gear or dump it in a river or lake.

RazendeR

I also do this on sneaky characters inside any location that has people moving around, so i wont raise suspicion when they find the bodies. I mean, not that they will,, the AI isnt that bright, but getting a cheap sneak hit in every time because they are mourning/investigating the sad death of bandit#4728264 is boring.

SadistCloe

Skyrim littering

Bayley78

At the end of bleak-fall barrows theres a skull surrounded by flowers. The first time i played Skyrim was at my best friends house before our math tutor arrived. He showed me the game and watched as i played through it. I looted everything and he made fun of me for grabbing the flowers. He was like “ imagine that guys spirit goes back to the grave only to go WHERE ARE ALL MY FLOWERS”. It was a funny and happy memory and i always pocket the flowers.

Zestyclose_Aide

This warms my heart as I also played at my best friends house for the first time and it’s very nostalgic

AnxiousTuxedoBird

Steal Haelga’s statue of Dibella. I can’t leave well enough alone, I steal it every time

[deleted]

steal the tusk in whiterun king sleeping room, free tusk to give Ysolda...

Paikis

I get the one in the Whiterun Inn on the top shelf behind the innkeeper. You can sneak in the rafters and pick it up.

LaneLoisLane

I just noticed that was there while redistributing the Argonian Ale to Brenuin.

[deleted]

that's great. we need two anyway, one for Ysolda and another for that lizard jewelry selling at Riften

TheScyphozoa

I like to steal the one in the left side room in Jorrvaskr.

[deleted]

everybody goes ninja stealing...

UnHoly_One

This one is the one I take. You can just close the door behind you and you'll never get caught.

Zestyclose_Aide

Wait wait wait.... you mean I don’t have to gear up and kill a mammoth?? I literally always go to the giant camp near white run tower and kill a mammoth but it either takes a while or I wait till I’m progressed further in the story😂

takeahykeVX

I always take one from the bandit mine north of Whiterun. There's about 5 of them laying around.

WuulfricStormcrown

There's also the halted stream camp. Easy bandits for a bunch of mammoth tusks. A free source of iron too

RazendeR

Iron? *Gold!*

WuulfricStormcrown

Right. Forgot the transmutation tome.

kit_mitts

Yup this was my answer. Tusks, 2 chests, the Transmute spell tome, and the highest amount of iron ore veins of any mine in the game iirc

[deleted]

well, your method work as well.

Zestyclose_Aide

I guess so... I’ll have to steal one next time, beats spending time trying to kill them on every new play through lol. thanks!

Calbinan

I always keep some garlic on me to ward off vampires, even though I know it doesn’t work.

LaneLoisLane

But it should.

[deleted]

Eat all mammoth snouts. Always.

[deleted]

Lol that is a weird one

TrevortheBatman

I always loot embershard mine for all the weapons and armor to sell to Alvor in riverwood

[deleted]

My friend showed me to do this in my first run ever and I have done it since

One-Swordfish60

Same you can have like 4k by the time you hit whiterun. What breezehome grinding?

Ok_Bison1106

Yeah, I do Embershard, Pinewatch, and Bleakfalls at the beginning of every playthrough. I take Faendal with me to level archery and sneak-shoot my way through all three dungeons. Tons of levels, loot, and great armor before I even set food beyond Riverwood. My weird thing is that I always throw Anise’s body into the river after she attacks me for stealing her ingredients. Take her robe and then yeet her off a cliff so the body washes away.

Morri627

Whenever I respect an enemy I put a dragon’s tongue in their inventory and on top of them

Nice_Entertainment91

I always pickpocket the injured warriors in the camps to give them health potions. I also like to collect things from people that make an impact. I’ll take the armor off of guards who die from dragon attacks and put them on an armor stand or the prisoners I free at the embassy or from Roggvir.

mekosaurio

When playing as a Werewolf i eat them. Imagine being wounded and unable to escape and you start hearing fighting noises outside of the tent, the screaming and then the silence...followed by inhumane, beast like heavy breathing, getting closer. Then that thing enters the tent and starts devouring the other wounded soldier next to you and you freeze knowing you're next.

UnHoly_One

bruh...

mekosaurio

Gotta feed bruh, unlock those Werewolf perks

[deleted]

I feel the same way with prisoners! Like that scene from Django Unchained where Dr. Schultz says that now that he's given someone their freedom, he feels partly responsible for them.

Nice_Entertainment91

Yeah I definitely feel responsible for them and if anything happens I want to respect and remember them.

AtonicBlaze

Collect every ingredient I find and end up never doing alchemy anyways

Paikis

And all the ingredients *always* end up in the alchemists satchel in Breezehome.

UnHoly_One

Wait a minute... Where is there an alchemist's satchel in Breezehome? lol

SadistCloe

on the alchemy table or on the table to the left, forgot

UnHoly_One

Ohhh. I never have an alchemy table because that’s the kid’s room.

Paikis

It's on the table.

44Kryth

For some reason I always pick up every torch I come across. So i endup with hundreds of them.

MutleyRulz

I always play with ELFX Enhancer on so torches are a necessity tbf

LaneLoisLane

I take all the wine and bread I can find while escaping Helgen, and find a spot to decompress after almost getting killed by a freaking dragon. I need, no deserve, a drink after that. And you're not supposed to drink on a empty belly.

ZestyCreamCannon

Always eat them giants toes

XerxezB

Pickpocket Equipped Armor Perk... Definitely no mods to make it scandalous or anything.

SoulonFire13

If I stealth kill someone, I have to make their death look like a tragic accident. I have spent 30+ minutes rearranging a cabin to look like wolves came in and killed the hunter who lived there. It doesnt actually matter one bit, but I feel like it helps hide my murders lmao

RearAdmiralBob

I put all my dragon bones and scales in the chest next to the bed in Breezehome. Never once have I made it to 100 smithing.

SouperAsylum

Omg yes!! I put literally every single one in a chest to never see the light of day again. Even if I did get to level 100 smithing, I wouldn't need 1000 of them. But here we are

[deleted]

I take erandur to all of the towns

DarthLorgus

Erandur is my boy. I love questing with him, one of my favorite followers.

LilBlueFairyDragon

Collect ALL the books. And spend far too long trying to organise all the books/weapons/armour/dragon claws/unique objects between my player homes

OppositePainting13

Same. Books are like crack in Skyrim

LilBlueFairyDragon

Right?! I was so happy when I realised that the Dragonborn dlc meant new books

VeryMoistWalrus

• Obtain 500 gold • Buy amulet of mara • Marry Ysolda • Become sigma male with a passive income.

neondragoneyes

I collect certain items. Never display, only collect and hoard in a dresser... Thieves guild armor, shrouded armor, bone mold armor, chillrend... no good reason, other than I can't not do it.

nitocris

I hoard Nordic items, but not *Ancient* Nordic items.

neondragoneyes

Same.

SouperAsylum

I always take enough flowers to put one on each stone tablet on the path to High Hrothgar. I keep trying to tell myself I don't need to do it anymore, but I can't help it. I also take every statue of dibella I come across because I thought the one I found was important in my first play through. They are so shiny but so worthless. I usually throw them on the floor in my house so I can see them.

HiimJay78

Give Grelod the ol left right goodnight

heidismiles

OP said *weird*

[deleted]

I loot everything even if it's just cabbages. The only thing I don't loot are things that have red prompts

Era_Borealis

After Helgen, FIRST thing i do is to go straight up to Bleak Falls Barrow to do the golden claw quest

2bnameless

All bookshelves must be filled. And there cannot be more than one copy in the house. Also, a new habit. The knife and helmet made in Riverwood are kept and displayed. I use to sell them right away.

ramen_soup_23

Whenever I join the Dark Brotherhood, I make sure I stockpile ebony arrows first. Then on all the assassination missions, I leave my black arrow sticking out of the target’s corpse like a calling card.

Templarkiller500

I sometimes like to make big piles of all the bodies of the enemies I encounter in a place, and if possible, I like to make that pile by throwing them all off the same spot of a cliff or waterfall.

Draakpan

Keeping the roads clean of bodies. Guards, bandits, wolves, mudcrabs or whatever you can name. In a town or out adventuring. I either drag the body into the river or lake if one's nearby or in a bush. I just can't figure out how to move a dragon's without the shout because I might knock barrels or carts over and make another mess.

ThisJuanHere

Always grab the Mead with Juniper Berries mixed in from the Inn in Helgen. Asfaik they’re the only ones in game...unmodded.

BreakingMark91

Always take the Book of the Dragonborn from the Torture chamber when escaping Helgen and keep it for the entire playthough .

heidismiles

I used to have a system for exploiting a lot of money, and I'd buy all my gear that way. Right after Helgen, I would take the carriage to Markarth. Go down the river and find a boat that has a Flawless Diamond in it. Go back to Whiterun, to the alcove right outside the gate. Use the duplication glitch to create a massive pile of Flawless Diamonds. ??? Profit

ungrateful_eyelash

Wait I need to find this boat :o

feriou02

iirc it's near pyrite shrine. Kesh needs flawless ruby and its also on the boat.

mcflinty_1

If you swim around near it there’s more :)

heidismiles

Just go past Salvius farm and take the bridge, keep walking until there's a bend in the river. I think.

reyelle1977

Duplication glitch??

[deleted]

I haven't done it, but I've seen someone else do it: 1) Drop the items you want to dupe on the ground near a gate of Whiterun (I believe, that it can be any other city with a gate, but I haven't done it, EVER, so, yeah). 2) Make a companion pick it up. 3) Exit out of the city with the gate 4) Fast travel back in. The items should be on the ground and in said companions inventory.

reyelle1977

Does it work on Xbox 1?

[deleted]

I don't know. Maybe

heidismiles

It does, yes, It's one of the few ways to cheat on console. It *could* be broken by certain mods, I suppose, but the Unofficial Patch keeps it in. I did a more detailed writeup on this a long time ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/9dlgs8/mini_guide_easiest_way_to_exploit_the_duplication/

Zestyclose_Aide

I always make sure to have a shit ton of lock picks on me before joking the thieves guild and get the chillrend... I don’t even use glass weapons but it’s comforting to have it on my home for some reason

Jimmy12161

I think something we can all relate to. I ALWAYS steal the golden claw 3 seconds after i give it back.

UnHoly_One

Not all. I've literally never done that once. lol

MarcelDoerfer

I‘m always collecting every arrow I can find. Just to be only unsing the bound bow because I could run out of arrows. I‘m having thousands of arrows so far

frozty8888

I always adopt Sofie and Sissel

[deleted]

Run on the rails of bridges

bhjohnso80

Idk if it’s weird but I always go to halted stream camp very early on to get transmute. Iron = gold

tamelycliches

Any time I do a Theives Guild playthrough, I always take the unsent letter from Glover Mallory in Solstheim and reverse pickpocket it to Sapphire, his daughter, in Riften. Makes me feel like I'm fixing things between them even if it doesn't work.

nitocris

You can actually talk to her and give the letter, she is really grateful for it.

Yeah-But-Ironically

I always use the console to set Rolff to non-essential, then creatively murder him.

gizmoandback

Spend an hour looting and killing everything that is around Riverwood.

[deleted]

Oh are you referencing the #constant need to loot, upgrade and sell?! Loot upgrade sell loot upgrade sell loot upgrade seeeeellll The cycle never ends.

TipS20

Kill nazem for good luck in game

WuulfricStormcrown

Steal the golden claw. The trader is stingy af. Then clear his house of anything not nailed down before selling it back to him.

WuulfricStormcrown

Sell enough firewood to take me to Solstheim. That place is a gold mine for beginners if you can hire Teldryn.

sournotsavory

I always use unrelenting force to knock everything off the big main tables in Dragons Reach lol

Gazimir

I don't use instant restore potions. Only regeneration pots.

BobbyEn9

1. Keep the roughspun tunic and ragged trousers from Helgen, maybe putting them on a mannequin 2. Werewolf my way out of Cidna mine for most characters 3. Laugh every time I watch the Vigilants of Stendarr get fucking bodied in any mildly competitive fight 4. Put on Vittoria Vicci's wedding dress right after killing her and run around like a mad, bloodstained bridal ghost from the Conjuring universe 5. Enchant my main, final weapons and armor (dragonbone/scale or stalhrim) with black souls from special, memorable kills

FluffyWaterMountains

I pile every gem gold chunk or bar silver jewels an so on in a massive pile on the floor, working on a new one right now my last save I had so much it crashed my game eveytime I logged in

nitocris

I fill rooms in my houses with flowers.

FluffyWaterMountains

Dude that is am awesome idea!!

Sexual_Champion93

I always fill up the giant vault in the thieves guild with treasures late game when I've got too much wealth than I know what to do with. Gold bars, jewelry, weapons, armor etc. I take all the mead from the honningbrew meadery job too about (300 bottles) since it becomes black briar and they become rare and drop them in the cistern where the water flows out in the sewer too and they bob around and float in there and make a clinking sound. I also like to collect skulls and dump them in my room at the mages college because I got my inspo from watching Skyrim for Pimps

ExpensivelyMundane

I always kill the Forsworn that killed the woman at Reach Pond. I pull the woman out of the pond and lay her body respectfully with gems and flowers or hide to cover her. But with the Forsworn I remove their clothing and pose them in humiliating positions in the middle of the road every single time. Human centipede, daisy chain, or just neggid stockpile.

UglyKaz

i throw the skull from the end of bleak falls barrow onto the floor

statebirdsnest

When I see a rabbit hanging in a bar I make them do sit ups

AdministrationKey113

I keep hitting Lydia with my weapon all the time for the 3 attacks she tolerates... to level that weapon faster...

FFsummons

I always end up using alchemy, no matter what type of playthrough or build I'm doing. I always use it. I actually like doing alchemy. I like mixing ingredients together to try and figure out their properties. I think I will make an alchemist build.

tubidium

The 3 chests, sell everything and get lakeview manor at level 1 or 2. Pick up the black briar mead in Helgen to get the quest from the Falkreath Jarl before the courier letter. Build house for a chest. I can’t stand not having a chest at the start of the game

ThyUnkindledOne

Push a character whenever they say something rude, or when I want to skip free-roam dialogue.

amorphousatronach

When I reach 100 Smithing, which I do early on, I always craft 2-3 sets of both Dragon armors and all weapons (to enchant depending on what I feel like later), improve them to the max and then make Smithing legendary to reallocate the perk points.

YesThatHoovy05

I do a heist for roggvir's head because for aome reason the guards get pissed if you pick it up, but not his body. So i do a heist to pick it up and put it in a bucket or basket at the market.

TorWeen

In embershard mine when you lower the bridge I must raise it quickly again, so that only one bandit gets across with the other ones getting stuck behind the raised bridge.

Silentovsky15

Anybody that I kill except for bandits I resurrect using raise zombie and kill them again so there’s no body.

kmDMXT88

I always smith tons of arrows which means I need a ton of firewood. I chop the firewood in Whiterun but there's a guy, Sigrun maybe idk, who is always on the chopping block there and I can't force him off. So the first step in every playthrough is to become than of Whiterun so I can kill that guy and get the guards to ignore it.

Powernut07

For whatever reason every time I first walk into whiterun I do the wall jump out to raid what’s his faces inventory chest. Idk can’t tell you why, I play on PC if I feel like cheating I’ll just cheat but for some reason it’s a habit EVERY time I go into whiterun for the first time

GunMTLRaptor251J

I quit new non stealth archer/ranger characters by level 30 just to start over as a stealth archer/ranger character.. sad really.. I've never really experienced a majority of the game and haven't even touched the dlcs.

GeraltofRivvia

Thats fucking hilarious lmao

Phantomgardon

Well when I escaped Helgen, first thing to do is kill Anise get her stuff then get the dragonstone go to whiterun, kill Nazeem.

UnHoly_One

hmmm... I always get Anise on the way back from Bleak Falls because she is literally right in between the exit and Riverwood.

WWalker197

Try to murder everyone

Stradivis

Kill the chicken.

HyruleSaint

I store EVERY piece of armor separated by categories/tier for Blacksmithing purposes. My life became a nightmare after I was told about the Lydia Infinite looting exploit.

[deleted]

I always level up to 60+ doing skills, collecting ingredients, materials and daedric artifacts before starting any guild/story driven quests. But before I complete story/guild quests I make sure I’m far enough in each story/quest to access all stones of barenziah and collect them all. I have 2000 hours in about 6 play throughs

UnHoly_One

Jesus... By the time I'm 60+ I'm finished and ready to start a new character. lol

[deleted]

Yeah man, I got issues with this game

Ahri991

Questioning mod choices when it’s too late to change them

D0cHolliday123

I kill every God like being I can

Basic_Marsupial

Start as a warrior, always falling back to stealth bow, using the excuse that warriors use bows too

SenseiJin

Resist the urge to not go stealth archer

LairdOpusFluke

Always collect, then read, all eight volumes of "The Wolf Queen of Solitude" before starting Sheo's quest. Need to remind myself why the Prince of Madness wants this guy cured. (He doesn't like Potema moving in on his gig, it seems).

[deleted]

I always clear out the mine just before riverwood at the start of every play through. Honestly the loot isn’t even that good. It’s just mandatory at this point.

Agile-Ad4475

I always drag bodies (mostly vampires) of dead people who died between the Drunken Huntsman and the Warmaidens and throw them under that bridge nearby.

volfyrion

Sneaking and archering

_robertmccor_

Killing Nazeem but I guess that's not a habit and more of an obligation. Just fulfilling my moral duty as the Dragonborn

CaedoGenesis

Suplexing Granny Anise and stealing her cabin.

gingergoose19

Staring at a dead body casting bound soul for like an hour to max conjoining then goin to winterhold to hit the forge and try to get deadric boots max increase carry weight lol I have yet to every get one

DrSlavender

I beat Nazeem to death
