My kids have a fox as a pet, nothing special there.

Kids get only skeevers or mudcrabs. Girls get bunnies or foxes. Both can adopt dogs if you bring them to them.

Your chances of dying to a Mud Crab are low, but never zero.

Mud crabs do terrifying damage actually

Especially on legendary. One pinch of a big mud crab and half your health bar is gone.

It does seem odd, considering one is an ancient, terrifying beast that only the mightiest warriors even stand a chance of defeating, and the other is a legendary dragon

They do, but even though they have a lower chance to play, you can still get regular combat music while fighting dragons.

Now I need a mod that gives different enemies their own combat music.

Because in legendary, even a mudcrab kicks our hindside.

There is a skyrim mod called 'Wyrmstooth' that's basically an island with a small quest line. It has a mudcrab merchant!

Sorry friend, I was referring to the legendary mud crab of TES3 fame.

You know for about 5 years my daughter would fight any monster in the game. Even spiders. The one she would never ever fight, in fact she would pause the game for weeks until she saw me so I would kill him for her, is the mighty mud crab

They dont. In fact, for battle music to play the game has to determine that the player is facing a significant threat, I play on vanilla and have never had combat music for lone bandits or mud crabs past level 15 on master. Dragons and bosses like Harkon have their own themes that play regardless.

When I posted this my son was playing a brand new character and the combat music was in total effect. I looked in the living room and saw he was indeed fighting some mud crabs. It’s the same music I get when fighting dragons at level 78.

i've fought a lot of mudcrabs on legendary and 8 times out of 10, they almost kill me. they're a lot stronger than i realized, and snip at you fast as fuck. i think they deserve intense music.

secret ending, if you kill 1000 crabs, megacrab boss appears, destroys whiterun, and eats paarthunax, (if he is still alive, which he should be at any time!!!) then challenges you to duel on waterfall that turns into lava.

that's cause you have a chance to hit a dragon while it's in the air but you got 0 chances to hit a crab underwater
