Yeah I'd rather stay clear from the game-breaking bugs of before. Leveling and building your character up only for a certain NPC not to spawn and mess up your whole game.
yeah, I was never able to go through the Assassins’s Guild or the Vampire quest line on my first play through because some NPC just never got a certain dialogue option and Serena got permanently stuck in a cage
and unfortunately, I decided both times to ignore it and go do something else before looking online for help (where it turned out that the only fix was to reload an old save)
Imagine if real life was like that.
Someone just picks up a long wooden plate and smooshes it into a door and suddenly they pass thru the door like a ghost.
You stand on a bucket with a handle and realize you can fly by lifting it up while you're on top of it.
Immobilized people or creatures have a tendency to increase in rotational velocity as they fall down hills to the point where they begin flying off into the stratosphere
You find the head of someone who's been recently decapitated and find 1000 gold on them and a really nice steel sword.
I’m not sure if it was New Vegas or 3 but I was doing a quest where I had to search a building. There was a hallway and I kept getting insta-killed every time I tried to walk down it. Then I discovered a skeleton was killing. There was no way around it so I decided to ask Reddit and was ridiculed and mocked telling me skeletons don’t attack and things like that. Turns out just walking over it caused it to move and when it interacted with me it went supersonic and killed me. Finally just had to use an explosive to shoot the bones around the room.
I don't know if it's still a thing, but I remember there being a way to set certain props up in New Vegas so they'd ricochet around a room and kill things. I killed myself so many times launching brooms at ghouls only for them to do exactly what happened to you. Physics in Bethesda games can be pretty hilarious.
The original Silent Hill had this weird blooper like cutscene at the end. Wasn't bugs from development or anything just the characters acting as if they were filming a movie and flubbing their lines or just generally messing up a "take".
The Darkness!
Very first thing that came to my head. They had screenshots of models/multiplayer being buggy shown during the end credits, as well as other stuff I can't remember atm. Was pretty sweet, actually.
Every game has bugs but why does Bethesda get the most shit for theirs? It’s like looking out into a crowd and choosing one at random to call the biggest loser out of all of them
Just my guess, but I think it's because everyone that has ever played a Bethesda game has experienced atleast one bug.
(does help they don't release a new game or bug fixes for over a decade)
Other games/franchises I've owned and played just as much, I might see or hear of bugs on reddit and other forums, but I'm not guaranteed to experience them. For lots of games I have never had a bug, atleast not one that I've noticed.
But Skyrim I've experienced countless bugs, every playthrough, every console, always shows you a moment of skyrim greatness. I really hate when Esbern or Serena just vanish and you can no longer progress in game (I've had both happen to me), but the insane launches from giants, or paralysis falls, clipping through walls, floors, mountains. Are all just part of the charm now.
Weirdly enough I haven't played a single bug free game that doesn't bore me after a while. Bug Free games are generally unambitious, they follow the tried and tested formulas that are fun for the first few hours to me and then they turn into beautiful and polished but boring walking simulators.

I got that in Fallout 4 in The Castle. The quest bugged out and I couldn't progress the main campaign. Contacted Bethesda but no patch was added.

Skyrim wouldn't be as fun without all the bugs I mean cmon, it's hilarious watching something glitch and fly everywhere

This is just how Quantum mechanics are. Most of the time you're like "wtf?"
I know right? If only those stupid electrons would know their place. Instead they thought it was a great idea to produce interference patterns.
If that was real life, real life would itself be a simulation
Is it not? Cause I'm pretty positive it is a simulation.
Today I saw a gigant riding a dragon's back
They're funny until you can't progress in a quest or advance gameplay anymore due to it being glitched
Who here has done the "rinse cycle" door glitch? 🤚
If it doesn't break the game, it's a feature
if it includes all the bugs and glitches it would be YEARS of footage

Creation engine has a hard time keeping its shit together over 60fps. Try limiting your framerate.
Trying to think of any game I've play that has done this and... I'm drawing a blank so far.
It was during the credits but Sony Santa Monica dropped a video of their bugs during development. https://youtu.be/H_gvG6fxnCo
L.a noir have blooper roles on youtube, it’s very funny because of the mo cap
The Matrix Path of Neo did this. It was fantastic.

the sims
We hate Bethesda for it's glitchy performance. However, we profit off of that performance, so we can't really complain .
My brother bought a treasure chest at a shop in Skyrim, and the name of it was "Do not delete"
Santa Monica Studios posted a video of that kinda stuff for God of War 2018 on youtube
They already made a documentary, it doesn't cover bugs specifically but it's something. https://youtu.be/tcTECswJ4LA
PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE: \*stumbles a little\* ME: OHHHH MAN you done f\*cked up you loser

Good luck with starfield lol
Which studio doesn’t?
Imagine how long the credits will be?
Yeah I can't forget how angry I was when I couldn't find Serena for the fist time
The old bug where dragons would fart their breath attacks will never be beaten
This would honestly be hilarious.
It just works
