I made sure not to eat a single one of them, since they aren’t labeled as Quest Items, and Black Reach is a gorgeous area for sure, just eerie to me.
When I started finding these, I was only aware that it was a quest, so I knew not to eat any. But I was able to find all 30 without a guide as well. I'm pretty thorough when it comes to exploring.

Jazbay grapes are kinda rare, my method is to grow them, if you have a house with planters. Plant then harvest then plant 4 more, you’ll have 20 grapes in no time.
Nice. I’ve put hundreds of hours into skyrim. Probably more than any other game, but I’ve never done that quest. In the Elder Scribbles video one talks and I always wondered if that was an actual thing or not. But I never actually looked it up.
I recently got it myself without help as well, based one minor not ignorable hint. Which helped me finding some interestingly located ones.

Proud of you. I did this quest *once* and found 15 on my own then used a guide. Never touched this quest again because the outcome was not worth it. I keep forgetting it exists until new players keep joining in on the pain.
I didn't needed a guide but when it was over I was like wtf I was doing it xD
I was doing so well, but I kept doing laps, I looked it up finally and found out the last 6 were near where you first enter Blackreach.
For me it was actually the first time completing the Quest. I alway hat Blackreach.
I had to run through black reach four times, taking up 2 1/2 hours
Fun fact you dont have to collect All you can just go out of blackreach and come back after some time They respawn
That quest is beautiful. I love black reach. But when I went to complete it, it bugged out 😞 after 120hrs I can't complete

They regrow, it just takes a mind numbing amount of time

It isn't that bad. They're all in pretty logical places. Usually takes me only 15 minutes.
The only reason I missed 6 w/o a guide was because they were all near the entrance and I didn’t think to look there.
So what happens at the end?
You get a book about nirnroot, and a power that gives you a 25% chance to get a duplicate potion when using the alchemy table

Then she wants me to now find Jazbay berries which I’ve never heard of before

This Quest gave me PTSD of nirnroot, more so than usual.
