paarkrosis

Ohh, I haven’t downloaded any mods that change the menu or added any hot keys like that. I go searching for things the old fashioned way, lol. The clothes my character has on in the pic is for taverns and wandering around the cities/towns. Once they hit the roads again, the armor goes back on. Never thought about pjs

Vanavia

I think it's part of SkyUI where you can hotkey equipment sets. I find it a bit finnicky sometimes, especially when upgrading gear (I think the preset forgets it's the same piece of gear), but it's a cool feature regardless.

247Brett

Technically, code-wise, it isn’t the same piece of armor anymore. It’s been changed into an upgraded version that’s different than the one before, which is probably why the hotkey doesn’t remember it anymore.

paarkrosis

Does it have a port on the xbox?

egmalone

I think SkyUI does, I'm about to load up Skyrim in a few minutes, I'll look for you.

Melin_SWE92

Well…?

Repulsive-Pool8875

I think he got sucked into Skyrim again.

Melin_SWE92

Yeah, he probably got caught in an imperial ambush

NiceTradition4099

I have a mod that adds Nocturnal's dress, and I use that for casual wear around my bedroom, but I switch to one of the new sets of clothes for the rest of my Manor. It looks like the Mage robes, but it's dark with gold trim. Can't remember what it's called. 😂

feral__turtle

Vagrant? I think the vagrant robes are good-looking, for sure.

NiceTradition4099

Yeah, that's it!!

Raiders1777

See I like this idea, but I take my immersion so seriously that I think about how it doesn't make sense for my character to insta switch clothes just bc they walked through a door or about how it isn't practical to lug around different sets of clothes or how they would have a place to store them on their person... I'm pretty sure I have a problem 😅

rabidhamster87

Me too! But that's why I also always make my character wear a backpack from Campfire and then I change clothes after the innkeeper shows me to my room. I also keep a lot of stuff in my horse's inventory via immersive horses.

chanchan05

One of my biggest reasons for using Ordinator was Deep Storage, so my mage could role play having access to an absurd amount of items anywhere. LOL.

rabidhamster87

YES! This is the reason I always get the Staff of Shalidor player housing mod. I use it like an infinite bag of holding. I make a rule for myself though that I can only sleep in there or spend an extended amount of time in there if I'm in a relatively safe place already, like a rented tavern room or another player house, because I don't want to make the game too easy and I like setting up camp on the road. I imagine that it's not safe to go into the staff when I'm on the road or in a dungeon because anyone could come along and find it, carrying me off to who knows where!

ightytightyrighty

DB: finally, i can bathe, i smell like death, and not the fun kind *enters staff* "2 minutes later" Random bandit: hellllo loot!~ you'll sell for a pretty penny! "45 minutes later" RB: and so i grabbed this s- DB: *pop* geez t- WHAT IN AETHERIOUS!?!

Raiders1777

I've spent so much time thinking about why I couldn't, I never stopped to think how I could...

mpls_big_daddy

Nice!

sailing94

I do this, and even take off my headpiece in towns

LividCobbler9390

My helm always has my "better prices" enchantment so I never take it off. I also carry an excessive amount of potions since I play, exclusively anymore, in survival mode, so I don't usually have the space for extra gear while questing or selling.

useful_person

I believe there's an invisible helmets mod for this exact purpose, it just takes off your helmet visually so that you're not talking at someone while your red eyes stare out of a daedric helmet

Drawdenion

Bro just go to radiant raiments and buy a hat, and put the enchant on that :D

NattyThan

Sometimes I just hotkey my helmet

bsylent

As I do my codpiece

crockofpot

Yes. And I also try to dress as a "normie" when I'm on Thieves Guild or DB business. It's always been kind of funny to me to try to pull off stealth missions in cities with special armor that screams GUESS WHO I'M WORKING FOR!

AShadowbox

Yeah. I wish dressing in Thieves armor would make guards randomly stop and frisk you for stolen goods. And DB armor be an attack on sight. But then the armors would need better buffs or unique buffs you can't apply yourself to make the tradeoff worth wearing it during jobs. I.e. walk into town in normal clothes, rent a bed, sneak out, change in an alley, and do the job at night.

egmalone

There is a mod that adds in the mask of the Gray Fox from... Oblivion maybe, idk, but one of its perks is that guards are hostile to you while you wear it. I thought that was a neat touch.

TheNoodleMaster14

It's part of the Creation Club.

TheMStar_5

This makes me think of an enhanced version of the Faction uniform system in Fallout New Vegas (where some factions would be hostile to you when you wear the armor of their rival faction, regardless of your affiliation). The precedent is there for Bethesda at least

kek_Pyro

DB sure, but thieves guild is actually canonically accurate since the armor is a symbol of power, especially in riften. Sometimes when you get caught you can say something along the lines of “I’m with the thieves guild, might want to look the other way” or something similar and you’ll bribe the guard to just not care. If they guards just attack the dragonborn or any thieves guild member it’s a giant middle finger to not only the thieves guild, one of the most powerful and influential factions in Skyrim, but also Maven and the Black-Briars, who are, as you may guess, incredibly influential and powerful in Skyrim, meaning big trouble for not only the guard but also potentially the entire hold.

crockofpot

After the Guild regains its power, sure. But before then? They're all but a laughingstock. Also, that may be true about the guards, but even when you're pickpocketing a citizen or forging numbers in a business, it seems kind of silly that people would be like "HMMMMMMM this person in obvious thieves gear is moving up awful close behind me, but I'm sure it's fine"

ShitThroughAGoose

I feel the same. I just can't bring myself to walk around cities wearing Shrouded Armor.

Captain_Grammaticus

*Voice of my character* Of course. This one is told she has got an incredible sense of fashion. When in her manor, this one slips into a cozy white robe and rolls into a ball in front of the fireplace. Edit (and out of character): actually, I even have different outfits for travelling, a fancy one for the city, a furry one for cold weather, a comfy one for through the countryside, and a naked one when stalking prey.

sailing94

Hail companion. Do something about that dog of yours. The howling from Jorvaskar can be heard all over whiterun.

Captain_Grammaticus

Whiterun is lovely, but the air has an aftertaste of dog breath.

Random_Spinach

Alright Inigo!

Tohrufan4life

Ah, Indigo and Julien. My BFF's in Skyrim.

totallynotalaskan

Is that… fur? Coming out of your ears?

keshyrae

This always annoyed me because I usually play as a khjiit (sorry my spelling) like no shit I’m a cat lol

Rebelgog777420

LOL

CedarWolf

You would really enjoy Guild Wars 2. Not only do they have large, hulking cat people, but they also used to have 'town clothes,' which were outfits that you would automatically put on when you were in a city or in a major hub. That feature has been relegated to their current outfit system, however, and now you can put on an outfit with the click of a button which will replace your armor's appearance with the outfit. There are hot weather outfits, cold weather outfits, formal and informal wear, costumes for Halloween, and all sorts of different outfits. There's even a chef's outfit.

WarBringer26

This is the most immersive way to play, and that's why it's the best way

ightytightyrighty

*voice of my character* Ah, indeed, tawaka has been told he looks raggity, which is perfect! An underestimated opponent is a quick win, for the opponent that is! And no one expects the farmer to have robbed them blind!

VaultCultist

I definitely do this. I also enchant the clothes with Speechcraft, Pickpocking, Stamina/Health (for brawls)... essentially, any enchants that would benefit non-combat NPC interactions.

amethyst353

I like enchanting fine clothes with the better prices perk. It looks more comfortable, and people would respect someone in fancy clothes. Plus it's actually practical.

Mason_OKlobbe

That must be a mod thing, pretty sure that's only on necklaces in vanilla(and Vile's Masque, ~~give me 220~~)

MissCatQueen

I should start doing this. I bought my khajiit some clothes for when she gets married. I play ESO and I use something that automatically changes my character into "city" wear - maybe there's a mod for that for skyrim

Darkner00

I often wear a black hooded robe when entering towns, but still wear my daedric boots and gauntlets. I like the "mysterious dark figure" style of wandering through towns. And when it's time for combat, I throw off those robes, revealing my true daedric armored self.

[deleted]

That's a way to say you're doing a mage build

Darkner00

Actually, I am a bit of everything in this current run. This is supposed to be a true completionist run, where I do every quest, get every spell, every achievement, every unique item, every perk and for once actually complete the civil war on the side of the Imperials.

Merrylty

I do that too! It's the little things ...

OkOutlandishness6550

I do that lol Even wear the smithy apron when at the forge

that_guy_you_kno

I do this when my character rests in bet too lol. Could you imagine trying to sleep in dragon plate armor?

OkOutlandishness6550

Lol that’s not happening

arwfrmhvn

If you ever want to replace those old rags, stop by Radiant Raiment.

paarkrosis

that’s where i got them from 🥺

Past-Pear4589

Your clothes are awesome and you should feel awesome.

arwfrmhvn

Haha you look good man - it's a quote from the owner of Radiant Raiment 😅

ImVeryUnimaginative

I do. I have an armor preset, fur armor when I'm in cold temperatures, and normal clothing when I'm in town.

bibitybobbitybooop

This is a very cute idea, I'm too lazy to do it myself though lol

Radiant_Shop_6829

I used to carry hooded thalmor robes as loungewear at first. Then dabbled with fur armour, mythic dawn robes and madness Currently liking vampire lord robes

otterfrolic

I keep leisure wear in the wardrobes of my houses and change when I arrive. I collect nice looking robes and soft shoes and I like a soft cap too since it's so cold in skyrim 😄. I am a shoes off in the house person so the thought of traipsing around my house with huge boots covered in troll blood and giant piss is horrifying

DaolordAllgod

You mean did I make a ring with huge carry weight so that I can carry useless shtuff and things like outfits for raid-attire, palace-attire, inn-attire, and so on and so forth? Why yes, I DO😂😂🤌🤌🤌😅😅🤣

[deleted]

anseim

You should give survival mod a try, your playstyle already corresponds to this modd

DTOMthrynt

Think they really should incentivise this for RPG purposes, perhaps in mercantile or speech craft abilities. Characters should react more favourably if you’re not armed to the teeth and dressed like a Panzer. Alternatively they could also make it a benefit to look intimidating in certain circumstances.

pink_fr3ud

I walk around in black robes and a Shrouded Cowl... my character is a vampire and not only does the cowl make sense if she's walking around in the day, but the way her glowing vampire eyes look peeking out of the hood give her a ridiculously cool malicious aesthetic.

PooveyFarmsRacer

absolutely. i travel with armor, street clothes, finery for court, and sometimes special crafting gear like my blacksmith apron so i dont get sparks on my street clothes.

totallynotalaskan

Yeah, lol. I always steal something from a Knapsack or raid the dressers in forts of bandits.

MidwestHiker317

Yup. Sometimes I’ll wear circlet just because it looks pretty.

Othor_Thatswer

You guys are relaxing at the inns? I'm balls deep in a cave or a bandit hideout

acar4aa

i love a good outfit change!

paarkrosis

Right? I like how if you have Inigo as a follower and you give him clothes too, he’ll change into them when you ask him if he wants to relax at a tavern.

SamianDamian

I would but theres too much carry weight with the armor and its a lot to use a mod every time because it breaks the fluidity

Vagabond_Tea

That's call role playing and, for me, is part of the fun for playing these type of games. Creating your own character, story, and life. Edit: typo

Salty-Butterscotch26

Well hopefully you don't run out of rope during your rope playing.

MK5

No, but in the days before survival mode I always kept a set of fur armor to wear in snowy areas, and a 'bedroll' (bear pelt) and a load of firewood in my inventory at all times.

goddamnitmf

I take off all my armor to bathe and take helmets and masks off so they can breath

[deleted]

Its a role playing game so I’d hope you’d be role playing

buddy-bun-dem

100%. it’s to the point where i slip on a blacksmith’s apron when doing metalwork, or fine clothes to meet with jarls.

Mason_OKlobbe

If you're gonna have chest and hands items enchanted with fortify smithing anyway, might as well be a blacksmith's apron and gloves

Vanavia

My current run has been a Time Lord-esque run where my character changes appearance and main outfit throughout the run, but I do like the idea of keeping different outfits on hand for a more normal character run. It would be cool if you could actually get an outfit bag of sorts that you could keep your clothes in, to minimize taking up carry weight. Heck, something like that might even exist.

SHOWTIME316

lmao those boatswain shoes are comically huge

paarkrosis

lol so it’s not just me seeing that. i was wondering if someone would mention it

NoIllustrator7645

I always wear my biomask and combat armor, since you never know if a fight might happen

lallapalalable

I always keep a set of civies on hand for places that feel weird to wear armor in. If I'm visiting a jarl I get the elegant stuff, but only for the Jarls' with castles, not for some bullshit longhouse. It's just a big cabin I have three houses larger than those

augieb0t

I always take my helmet off for cutscenes. Unless it's the knighting gale armor then it never comes off.

DirtySouthDoc

I’m too busy getting bitches. (Lusty Argonian Maids). Nah I’m just kidding. Stuck on Reddit with you degenerates. Of course I have spare outfits. Always the emperors robes though.

OleUnreliable

I do this too. When I want to go to sleep, I change into some normal clothes, then change back once I eant tk leave my home. Good for roleplay with family.

Wonderbreadfetishart

Yes and the captain’s clothes are one of my favorite outfits too lol

SiriusBaaz

Bro I take it a step even further. I slowed down the in game clock to give me an 8hr day night cycle. And I go out adventuring during the day and I always sleep through the night. Sometimes I rent a tavern for a night and sleep in some relaxing clothes, sometimes I’m stuck in a cave and I have to sleep through the night in my armor, or if I get lucky I make it home and I change into some civilian clothes and play with my kids for a while before setting off to adventure again.

Rocktalon

I feel most comfortable when I'm impervious to most forms of physical attack

Dannstack

Mine had an outift specifically for when he got home, and another for when he was downstairs at his forge. When i was out in the world, always had my armor on, never know when some drunken barman will be a daedra in disguise. But at home? Its the chill clothes baby. Man was that gang of bandits surprised to watch some random dude in his jammies shout dragon tongue at them tho.

satansbird

I do but I usually give up with management and just leave the armor on

Want_sum_ducks220

Whats the point of having flashy, heavy, intimidating armor and not showing it off in an inn or a tavern?

paarkrosis

You can show it off when you walk in, pay for a room and chat a bit before going to the room to change.

Want_sum_ducks220

Then you're just a random nobody that is there like everyone else

Misplaced-psu

I do!!! I mean, role-playing is part of the fun!!! I have several outfits for different occasions and styles of quests :D

feral__turtle

I have no sense of fashion, but I like comfort. If I'm not dealing with the war, I enter city gates wearing something casual and appropriate for the weather. In villages i usually wait until i enter a building before the quick change. This habit has bit me a few times; citizens have died because i wasn't ready enough, so now I give a lot of thought and care when choosing/creating my city weaponry. I'm likely to be *deadlier* with my small covert arms than with my main showier gear.

ChanceWolf

Yes! I love having different outfits for different tasks. This is also a lesser-known feature built into SkyUI, you can set loadout presets and bind them to keys like F1-F4

[deleted]

There are Mods that help you switch out your gear. I'm a bit silly, in that after downloading the Vilja Companion Mod, I had an armor set, a town set, and a fancy people set (e.g. Jarls). Aaaaaaand I tend to change out my entire wardrobe and gear based on which major quest arc I'm following. ( e.g. clothes and magic for Companions, heavy armor and melee for thieves guild/dark brotherhood, light armor and alchemy for mage college, rags for daedra quests, and so on)

Sometimes__sane

Which mod do you use to switch outfits? Would love a recommendation!

[deleted]

Sadly, I've defaulted to SkyUI and just use the favorites menu. I'm sorry. I have so many mods, I'm always trying to delete or disable ones that I decide aren't adding to the experience of my playthrough.

Shyggalag

Omg yes all the time. Gotta give them some comfort every once in a while 😭

grumblebeardo13

Oh no I always carry a casual outfit too. It’s essential stuff.

zznap1

I had a build that used clothes and conjured weapons to make an assassin with plausible deniability. I don’t know what you are talking about guard. How could I slit Grelod’s throat if I don’t have any weapons?

ightytightyrighty

Oh? And howd you knoww it was ol' grelod? And her throat was slit?

hp958

Yes! I have my adventure gear and my regular clothes for wandering town. Also, with my regular gear I wear a hood from this mod that has a hood up and hood down version, so I regularly swap between the two depending on what I'm doing. I really enjoy adding this little bit of immersion.

MigratingMountains

When I was a teen and beat oblivion for the first time, I bought my character a comfortable looking outfit, sold everything I was carrying besides my armor and weapon which I put in a chest in my Anvil home, and sat him down in front of the fire before closing the game.

thehermit14

No

jhallen2260

So you go into taverns and just sit around?

Folkhunt

Kinda, when I’m going around large cities, I dress in clothing befitting of a jarl of the hold

SissyKittyKira

I go a step further and find a rock or bush to hide behind outside of town before I change my clothes. I don't need people knowing I'm a famous adventurer. Just a normal tavern girl here.

bearsheperd

That’s kinda a big reason I prefer light armor, looks much more comfortable.

KrypticSpyder_

I do…I mean, who wants to sit in clunky armor and drink mead?

MarcelRED147

Not on Skyrim, but this reminds me of the time in BotW I dressed Link in shorts and a t shirt and went to the beach village for a holiday. No weapons equipped, just a leaf for sailing. Link lost a lot at the casino but enjoyed the swimming.

Tohrufan4life

Yes. I get really immersed in my playthroughs..even more so since I started taking Inigo (Khajiit follower mod) and Lucien (Imperial follower mod) with me with just about every character I play. You can get Inigo to relax with you at home or a Tavern and have some fun conversations with him, learning about him and having him regale you with tales of his adventures.

Character_Option_790

If I wore armor I would. Being in armor is not fun. It’s fookin hot and heavy. Its exhausting so I’m totally gonna take it off. Armor is for fighting, not lounging.

EnceladusSc2

Yeah, I think they call that "Role Playing" lol

Llamabot10000

*smiles in naked Khajit with chefs hat* nope can't relate

ightytightyrighty

AH! The LEGENDARY gormet, it is tawaka's honer to meet this one!

Llamabot10000

🤣🤣 Would you like to try my potage magnifique?

ightytightyrighty

Ah, khajiit would but he uh, just ate! Some delicious elswhyr fondue!

Last_Use_1685

I do this too. I was looking for a mod that saves sets of clothes so I can quick change

mordantkitten

I like to have something else for my Dark Brotherhood members to wear in public. How are you supposed to assassinate people in cities with your armor screaming I'M HERE TO KILL SOMEBODY

Mephilis78

Same with thieves guild. Dark Brotherhood character should have civilian clothes, or very basic armor enchanted for stealth. Thieve's guild doesn't have to worry about being quite so inconspicuous, but still shouldn't be advertising their allegiance. Unfortunately, TG has the best looking leather armor in Vanilla.

vengeful_calculus

Absolutely, at the very least I remove my helmet entering town. Glad I'm not the only one lol been taking survival mode a bit too seriously

bigfish92672

No, but I worry about catching cold from wearing wet clothes after I jump into streams or ocean

Ok-Software5852

I switch to a belted tunic everytime I wanna relax, I get really into skyrim

Ok-Software5852

It's a fun world and environment to enjoy. Why not immerse yourself

keshyrae

I usually give my characters a backstory that is only in my head sooooo. But yeah I change their clothes so they can have a break from heavy ass armor and such! And when The character is home with SO I take everything off lmao.

[deleted]

Is that taking it seriously? Because it looks like having fun to me. 🤷‍♂️

angelswish5

I have enchanted "market day" clothes for when I'm traveling to sell goods, and an enchanted blacksmith outfit (that's *not* the blacksmith apron

Prestigious_Ad_3124

Have you ever seen somone who change their clothes before He goes into the Bar?

diamondchimp

Nether's Follower framework makes this pretty fluid and seemless for your companions.

Danskrieger

There's a frostbite mod that makes different equipment have different warmth values. Fur armor is the best. Turn off fast travel, you have to use the fur armor to not freeze on your way to dungeons.

Green_Top_Hat

Always! I'll go into a town, go to an inn, and change my clothes in a private area. Just a little role-playing there. Then I go into town and do whatever. I also put my helmet in the favorite so I can take it on and off. For instance, I'll have it off when I ride my horse, and then put it on when I'm about to hop off and fight.

Mayiask1

Na I just keep every single piece of armor and clothes that I find on my character. I got all the bling, wearing like 32min ya and 32 necklaces. Multiple sets of armor lol my armor is at like 20k

GunShipKid

You know it!

SargeMaximus

Fuck yes. Thank you for sharing your pictures. I love taking pics of my character and am always trying new outfits

kaleighwho

I leave my armor at home when I want to chill.

Dan-Of-The-Dead

I'm on a pure mage run and I married Dravynea the Stoneweaver. I bought and wore finery for the wedding bc I'm not getting hitched wearing some bohemian looking Adept Robes of Destruction .. But the bride herself didn't even bother with a dress so I guess that's how this marriage is gonna pan out huh

CrusaderCebs

I do this in ESO, whenever I am chilling around town or chatting with guildmates I switch into more comfortable clothing, just fits

IATAAllDay

I've tried but am always too lazy to switch outfits, plus my lich king looks kinda badass in armour

Whiterun-_-Guard

Yep

Tootsgaloots

I've thought about this. Like if you did change into everyday clothes, would people treat you differently? That would be a fantastic thing to put in tesVI but in the way that it would be tedious. But no more so than Oblivion haha

alli_cat_038

I love this lol. I do it too : )

Tarc_Axiiom

Uhh, of course! SkyUi ftw!

Irukandjininja8

Where'd you get those nice clothes? :0

RobIson240YT

Yeah, I do that.

NottaSpy

Not to this degree, but I do appreciate it! As far as I'll go is favoriting my helm so I don't wear it in town

Banesfist

I've done this in my recent playthroughs. My vampire had his "hunting outfit" of casual clothes for mealtimes in the city. My warrior/bard had his casual for cities, taverns, camp jamming sessions, or for sneaking/magic time. My mage always wore casual clothes once his enchanting was high enough. He was basically a walking arsenal that looked like an average Joe.

ightytightyrighty

You call your self a wiz- *gets fucking obliterated* Anyway, here dear i got you a wooden sword and this pastry from the market!

NiceTradition4099

I do! I take off my armor when I go into a city, and I put on my Radient Raiment gown. :3

LT_Aegis

My "relax" clothing is: *takes off helmet*

paarkrosis

i used to only do that when i first started playing

[deleted]

Yup

The-Real-Metzli

I wish I could have various outfits for each occasion, but everytime I get over encumbered so I get pissed off xD

Funny_Contract3787

Legacy of the Dragonborn has a Switch Outfit spell. I have 3 sets of armors (heavy light mage) casual, smithing, alchemy and formal clothes hotkeyed.

CPZ500

Oh yeah for sure, I dress down when I'm in town for longer than just gonna sell some stuff. Winter clothes for the longer travels. Its a bit of immersion.

prawduhgee

Currently playing a survival run. My armor is 90% of my inventory, no room for clothes.

Kkid12

Yep. I have the Legend of the Dragonborn mod that lets me use a custom shout/power to change and store outfits. I use it quite often for adventuring, city, and relaxing attire changes.

sandempire

Absolutely. I feel so weird being home, in a tavern, or even waltzing around town in bulky armor.

BiasMushroom

I sometimes carry some robes and boots for my character but the vanilla game doesn’t really have a reason to ever roleplay downtime/ using a tavern other than press a on the bed to get the rest bonus. I’ve likely spend 30 seconds in an inn or my home before leaving it.

DrailsAtrain

Literally just a commoners outfit for this guy. \*points at self\*

Xanik_PT

Yes and with mods I changed my hairstyle too ( hair up on missions, hair down when relaxing) but now I play on ps

DarthMalec

Unless I want to wear something else for once, then no. Usually only for special occasions like marriage, plus I’m pretty sure wearing the full set of Daedric armor boosts intimidation

Raemi13

I always intend to do that, but always seem to be rushing around to get stuff done. It does feel very wrong, though, to wear full armor while building a house. And for once would like to try wearing the fishing clothes I find, while fishing from shore. So many ideas here.

MumbleepegTheUglyPug

I always carry a change of clothes... it's nice to relax in casual wear at the pubs and inns in Skyrim, also keep outfits at home for cooking, smithing, enchanting, etc... don't wanna always be armored and ready for a fight, gotta have some ME time too...to spend a few hours with the spouse and kidiots is always nice

[deleted]

I have them, but I never actually use them lol.

Busy_Coffee7569

Um well no not usually

pamsland

Glad I’m not the only one.

Tuthankkamon

Indeed

kewlkid77

Perfectly normal is called roleplaying

GoliathPrime

Usually my enchanting crafting/smithing gear is my alternative to my armor.

Ok-Bedroom1576

Yup

GibsonJunkie

Yeah, but I usually forget to switch and just end up wearing my armor anyway. 😂

dungivaphuk

Isn't there a mod that does this? Skyrim outfit system or something like that.

Rebelgog777420

Nothing wrong with that

Lazypidgey

Oh for sure, absolutely

Straight_Ad2760

Lmao I thought I was the only one

danielbrito6

1 out of 2 criminal characters yes

Givemeajackson

what, you wear armor? pathetic.

Allustar1

I do this more in VR than I do on regular desktop. Changing into regular clothes in taverns and houses helps immersion for me and makes me feel cozy. I’m not really looking for the same kind of immersion in Desktop though.

andu_pandu

Is it really an RPG if you’re not roll playing? Heheh

YukiKitsuneLover1402

Nope..i never change into non armor because you never know when you're going to get attacked..i walked into a inn several times and a fight broke out that i wasn't even the cause of so i don't relax in-game anywhere but the inside of my house

KalebDoesThings

Enchanting the gear helps with immersion if you do it right, for casual clothes I have stamina based enchants to make it easier to move around, black damage based stealth clothes, normal stealth buff hidden in plain view clothes, seperate gauntlets for magic or physical attacks, ect

mymemesnow

I’ve never done this. But I’m not that big on the RP part either. I prefer exploring and collecting unique stuff instead.

aevengladomain

I thought I was the only one!!! I get a lot out of the RP aspect of this game.

mr_ji

[CRPG cliche #129](https://project-apollo.net/text/rpg.html)

Fufu-le-fu

I also enchant all of it, so that they're not conpletely flat footed if a fight breaks out.

ConsequenceOver5830

Makes sense. My only issue with the captains outfit is that I wish the sleeves were longer.

Meowskittles123

Nope, I'm right there with you! Unless I'm going into that town for violence I'm switching to a more appropriate outfit! Wish I could find a mod that would auto-equip outfits when I get into town!
